We had a great experience with Elite Inspection Group! Mike was fantastic. Not only did the inspection get scheduled within 48 hours, it was done during the time frame we requested. And when it got pushed back by 30 minutes (due to a traffic delay) all parties were notified immediately, so adjustments could be made. Mike was thorough with the inspection, documented everything in the report and with photographs. He then took the time to go through the entire report and showed us in and around the house everything that was in the report, or showed us pictures of areas we couldn't get to, like in the attic and on the roof. He answered all of our questions, let us know what was normal wear and tear, and how our potential house compared to it. As promised he emailed the report that evening and followed up with an email 24 hours later to see if we had any additional questions. This is our second home purchase and couldn't be more different from our first experience (in another state with a different company). I had my future home inspected by Elite Inspection Group. Mr. Walter Cornejo was assigned to my property. He completed a very thorough inspection of the property both inside and out. When Mr. Cornejo was completed with his inspection, he explained all of the discrepancies to me in detail. With this information, I was able to decide to purchase the property or not. I feel that I was armed with the knowledge necessary in order to negotiate the best possible deal. Then the Elite Inspection Group and Mr. Cornejo provided a free service company, 360 Home Connect, that is going to assist me to get in touch with the different utilities and other services that my house will need when I move in. The Inspection was very thorough and the service was great. Mark was always able to get to the homes the next day. The first home we considered buying had way too many problems which he documented very well. He took time to explain all the problems and give us some tips on things to look out for as we continued our search. He conducted the inspection of the property we ended up buying and again he was very prompt, professional, and took time to explain everything to us. We had Mark out again to do the follow up inspection after the seller fixed the issues he identified the first time around. I also liked that I could pay for everything on line as well as in person. The customer service we received was phenomenal. We met with Walter when we arrived, He spent 1 hour sitting down with my husband and I to explain EVERY detail of the inspection report with pictures. He answered any questions we had. We appreciated that because when we received out copy of the report we understood why we were looking at. He went above and beyond what we could ever expect from an inspection company. We could tell from his report he left no stone un-turned in this inspection. Mike Kemper was recommended to us from our realtor. My call was returned immediately and an appointment was set up that worked for us. This isn't our first house or inspection. They were able to get out very quickly for our home inspection, which was great. The set up and payment was easy and fast, and communication was excellent. For some reason, the inspector was OK with the seller being present during the inspection and going over the report. Whether this had something to do with it or not, the inspector missed quite a few issues, including a carbon monoxide leak. The report was thoroughly confusing and devoid of any pictures identifying the exact problem, despite the inspector seemingly haven taken 100+ photos. read more
