    Chicken rolled tacos
    Claudia L L.

Was in the area and found this spot for a quick bite to eat. It's a cute restaurant on the inside with Mexican decor, music, and murals to add to the vibe. They had Mexican party jams playing so I was dancing in my seat. I had the chicken rolled tacos and my mom had the ceviche tostada. My rolled tacos were filled with chicken, served with cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Very tasty. My mom's ceviche tostada was packed high with fish and tasted good. She's a little picky and ate it all up. The portions were good sized and the prices were good too. I would recommend this spot. Our server was nice, welcoming and attentive. If you're in the area and want Mexican food check em out!

Pato helped us and he was so kind! He was attentive, gave my son a piece of candy while waiting and was just vibing with us as my son and I were kind of dancing to all the great music being played! The place is intimate and welcoming with tons to look at on the walls! Again, the music was great, while waiting for our food my son and I were having a blast dancing in the waiting seats. My review is more-so a 4.5, but only because the food was not quite to my tastes as far as Mexican food. I had super high hopes for this place because it looks EXACTLY like one of my all time favorite Mexican spots so I ordered my usual -- cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco and salsa. I also ordered a green veggie burrito and a soft carne asada taco for my son. The parts I enjoyed were the salsa and chips-- they paired very well together and I thought the salsa (and hot sauce) both had good flavor. The salsa isn't spicy, but the hot sauce had a good little kick. The crispy beef tacos were good, especially with the salsa . The enchiladas didn't do it for me... that's usually how I judge a place on if I like them, but I didn't really enjoy the sauce on them like I hoped. They weren't bad but just not what I wanted. The veggie burrito was a little odd... it had an interesting flavor and they chose veggies that I rarely have seen in Mexican food (squash, zucchini, etc). I'd definitely come back for certain things or if I want some decent chips and salsa... I'd come back for the atmosphere and try more tacos and some of their adult beverages! If you're lucky enough to have Pato helping you, you'll be well taken care of!

This is a very affordably priced sit down Mexican restaurant with a good amount of options. They open 8am-9pm and offer some good breakfast choices.

The welcoming setting of an old Mexicano household is where the owner takes you enjoy the food which are recipe shows from the old country the taste and helpfulness just circles back around with the authenticity of the food. So if your in the area stop by and say hello to authentic Mexico

We came in before closing and I felt so bad but they didn't turn us away even after we offered to take the food to go but over all an amazing experience we will be back again!

The food here is so good the chilaquiles verdes and rice and beans were the best I've had! The service was so fast and friendly, Melissa is such a nice server. The restaurant gives that authentic Mexican vibes and is a great place to hangout and have a beer.

    Taco, enchilada combo. Very good.

Even the rice and beans are better than other places lol The rice is so fluffy and soft! I've never had rice that good. The shrimp enchiladas came with shrimp and pico de gallo inside. It was topped with cheese. Very good! I scarfed it down. Next time though, I will order the cheese enchiladas. Those are my favorite! I got the 2 combo plate with the chile relleno and the shredded beef taco, subbed for fries, my partner got a chicken enchilada with taco. My friends got a carnitas plate, and we also ordered drinks for the table. Their margaritas are pretty strong and the michelada is good! However our server wasn't on the friendly side. Although she was quick, every-time we needed some thing after she stopped off at our table, she would already be off to do something else. At the end of the night their POS didn't work and she just came back to the table saying card declined, when other customers experienced the same thing. She could've said do you have another card or something else, but she just said card declined. I also don't like have for substitutions you have to pay extra like for green sauce. Food is good, but hopefully next time we get a better server and food doesn't take forever to come out.

Everything tasted homemade and so comforting that it felt like leaving a friend's house after a meal his mom made. The vibe was fun, the service was great, and we were lucky enough to have the son taking care of us, which made the experience even better. Thank you for an amazing meal and great conversation. They also had all-day Happy Hour deals on Wednesdays. Loved the decor of this restaurant, just an incredibly cool vibe with elaborate Japanese-Mexican fusion art, neon, and even a huge rainbow color-changing tree in the middle of the dining room. We had calamari, corn ribs, steak tacos, king roll, dragon roll, pork belly bowl, and everything was well-cooked and tasty. The hot sauce they give is hot, fair warning! The dishes are complex with lots of varied flavors, which is a good thing because it's not just simple and boring, but it does take time to read the menu carefully. That's probably on us, lol. We will definitely return. Gorgeous restaurant and delicious food, decently priced for what you get.

We visited on a weekday evening for dinner and found that the restaurant had largely retained the same look and layout from its days as TAPS. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple of other occupied tables during our visit. While the menu offered a variety of options, it looked limited and, more importantly, significantly overpriced. Signature rolls ranged from $24 to $26, and even a simple pork-and-rice dish was priced at $25. We ordered the Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta, the Dragon Roll, and two fish tacos. Unfortunately, this is where the experience took a disappointing turn. The Dragon Roll, despite its premium price, looked very basic, consisting mostly of rice with very little filling. The quality and presentation reminded me of sushi from a grocery store counter. The Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta was essentially chicken Alfredo with red bell peppers, served with a slice of basic buttered toast. The fish tacos were another letdown. For $16, the plate included only two small tacos with no rice, beans, or side dishes, just the tacos themselves. To make the experience even more unpleasant, there were no complimentary appetizers, such as bread or edamame, to enjoy while waiting for the meal. The food overall was underwhelming and did not justify the prices being charged. The one bright spot was the service, which was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, Geisha failed to deliver the quality or value its prices suggest. Save yourself the time and money and visit virtually any other restaurant in downtown Brea instead. You'll thank me later.
