Pato helped us and he was so kind! He was attentive, gave my son a piece of candy while waiting and was just vibing with us as my son and I were kind of dancing to all the great music being played! The place is intimate and welcoming with tons to look at on the walls! Again, the music was great, while waiting for our food my son and I were having a blast dancing in the waiting seats. My review is more-so a 4.5, but only because the food was not quite to my tastes as far as Mexican food. I had super high hopes for this place because it looks EXACTLY like one of my all time favorite Mexican spots so I ordered my usual -- cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco and salsa. I also ordered a green veggie burrito and a soft carne asada taco for my son. The parts I enjoyed were the salsa and chips-- they paired very well together and I thought the salsa (and hot sauce) both had good flavor. The salsa isn't spicy, but the hot sauce had a good little kick. The crispy beef tacos were good, especially with the salsa . The enchiladas didn't do it for me... that's usually how I judge a place on if I like them, but I didn't really enjoy the sauce on them like I hoped. They weren't bad but just not what I wanted. The veggie burrito was a little odd... it had an interesting flavor and they chose veggies that I rarely have seen in Mexican food (squash, zucchini, etc). I'd definitely come back for certain things or if I want some decent chips and salsa... I'd come back for the atmosphere and try more tacos and some of their adult beverages! If you're lucky enough to have Pato helping you, you'll be well taken care of!

This is a very affordably priced sit down Mexican restaurant with a good amount of options. They open 8am-9pm and offer some good breakfast choices.

The welcoming setting of an old Mexicano household is where the owner takes you enjoy the food which are recipe shows from the old country the taste and helpfulness just circles back around with the authenticity of the food. So if your in the area stop by and say hello to authentic Mexico

We came in before closing and I felt so bad but they didn't turn us away even after we offered to take the food to go but over all an amazing experience we will be back again!

The food here is so good the chilaquiles verdes and rice and beans were the best I've had! The service was so fast and friendly, Melissa is such a nice server. The restaurant gives that authentic Mexican vibes and is a great place to hangout and have a beer.

    Taco, enchilada combo. Very good.

Great food and wonderful staff. The enchilada sauce is homemade, love their cheese enchiladas. The refried beans are also great!

Good food. The asada burrito with the green sauce was fantastic. A little bit pricier than i would like, but still well worth it!

My mom ordered the steak & eggs, and she thought it was very filling and tasty. A little plain though but to be expected with a steak and eggs, she was expecting a thicker cut.

I ordered an avocado toast (like their namesake) with smoked salmon on top and it was delicious. There was a good amount of avocado and smoked salmon. The cucumbers helped to add a much needed crunch. I had the choice of sourdough bread, and I wish the bread was more sour. For the side, I had the hash brown chips. The hash browns chips were so yummy it deserves its own paragraph. If you are a fan of crispy fries, this is it. I loved to each these chips with ketchup and some Tabasco sauce. I found myself disappointed there weren't more hashbrown chips, not because I wasn't full, but because my taste buds wanted more!

Love this place! Wish we had one in the Bay Area! We visited from out of town and chose to eat here…read moretwice. Ambiance is bright and - lots of natural lighting from the many windows and the table tops have a white marble look to them. The first thing you do is grab a menu and have a seat, then you get up to order at the counter when you're ready. They seem to use rice flour for their pancakes, waffle, and fries chicken, which makes for a fun, different, and enjoyable texture. The lattes were nicely made - not too sweet, with a good balance of espresso and whole milk. The only thing I would change is to ask for scrambled eggs on the croissant sandwich. It was difficult and messy to eat with a sunny-side up egg. Can't wait until our next visit! Please, someone open one up in San Jose!

It comes with your of eggs (scrambled for me), bacon + sausage, side salad topped with cherry tomatoes, toast, and lots of country fried potatoes. The eggs are Asian scrambled eggs - the kind you might get at a hotel in Asia. They're folded over and super fluffy. I like that you get both proteins though the sausages are maple flavored. The side salad is actually a nice surprise. We also ordered a California omelette ($19.20) which is comes with cherry tomatoes, avocado, spinach, mushrooms with pesto and a side of toast. We also added some ham for added protein. It's interesting in flavor - I've never had a pesto omelette before.i guess with all the veggies and pesto flavoring, it's very California-y in that way. It's easy here - order at the counter and seat yourself. The patio is spacious with plenty of shade. Service is super friendly and attentive. Oh, and they also play good music here. Will be back.

That was our favorite for our savory item. That pistachio waffle was immaculate too. Perfect amount of sweetness with that ice cream right on top. To be honest, it wasn't that packed in our service was very slow. There was a point where I literally had to get up to ask for plates for our shareable. It was a little stuffy in there as well. I felt like their AC should've been on a little bit higher. Also, the restroom reeked of mildew. They gotta do something about that smell in there. I'm always greeted with a smile and a hello and they seem to have quite a few regulars, because they call them by name when they see these customers walk in. Service - The staff (who I am assuming are the owners) are super friendly, again, greet everyone, and always open to making suggestions. If a place has breakfast burritos, I'm always down for that...so that's what I went with the first time, and every time after. When I asked about their Bfast burritos, the owner suggested that I get it with a spinach tortilla, a totally new option to me, but boy was I happy with it. I have gotten it every time since then.
