I feel like finding a good pastor shouldn't be difficult. Compared to looking for goat/birria burritos and tacos, finding good pastor shouldn't be as arduous of a task as it is. I'm constantly let down trying yet another taqueria or Mexican food joint only to find the pastor kind of lackluster. That's why Burrito Brothers is such a find. Their pastor burrito was just like I like it--packed with meat, not skimpy with the other add-ons besides rice and beans, and just a plain hefty boy at a decent price. Every bite was a joy, and every joy was one that I wish could last forever. I'm not shy to say that I'm already trying to figure out the next optimum time to get back to this place. The service was great. Everyone was quick and friendly. And they all seemed immensely proud of the business they had built. It was just an easy experience telling them exactly what I wanted and getting my meal squared away. They were even helpful as to the best way to order in my food to go with a call and get it made exactly right. I like the space too. It only fits 16 customers, but that seems more than enough for the amount of dine-in customers it receives. I enjoyed that they catered to solo diners, possessing a long counter space and three-top tables mostly instead of larger seating arrangements for their dining room. To sum up, this place is fantastic and amazing for my favorite of all the burritos after goat. Came here recently for a quick bite while in the area. Shared a breakfast burrito with my mom. Half was plenty and it was super filling, very generous portions. This was only a small size couldn't imagine the bigger one. They have lots of options for fillings and salsas. Would recommend if craving a burrito. The service was nice and pleasant. Only my second time ordering food from burrito brothers. I ordered both times through DoorDash pickup. The first time they were concerned with me confirming the order. Today when I went in my order was confirmed as picked up without me doing anything. They said someone else had picked it up. At first they offered me no solution just a oh well someone picked it up. Then I sat down to report it to DoorDash and told them I would give them a yelp review. Only then they remade my order. I still reported it to DoorDash and my concern for my information safety. My other concern is I've DoorDashed for years and the only 2 times I order for pickup from here I have a problem. The food is good but not sure I'll go back. Went in here today for the first time with my boyfriend because we were both craving a California burrito and saw this place had good reviews. We got our burrito and ate it there and we were both really disappointed. Somehow even though we ate it there our burrito was COLD. Like every bite was literally not even warm at all. even the small amount of fries that the guy threw in straight from the fryer were not piping hot in the burrito. I feel like the potential was there with the food quality but no one wants to eat a cold burrito. We also got some nachos which were okay. What sets it apart is the customization. You don't order predetermined burritos (although they have those too and they also look good). I ordered a breakfast burrito and the chef began to make the eggs and dropped the tater tots in the fryer! Everything is fresh! Once those were done, the tortilla is warmed and you can pick what you want. I like basic: eggs, bacon, sausage, tater tots, cheese and salsa. It was epic. The Big Brother BYO Bowl has great value for its' price and is definitely worth it. (The bowl allegedly comes with a side of chips if requested ). They piled on the beans, rice, and meat of choice, as well as unlimited options for toppings. It was incredibly filling and last me two meals! The El Pastor was flavorful and tender. I'm an Al Pastor guy, whenever I go to a new place that's usually my first go-to as there's so many subtle flavor directions a place can go with it. The direction Burrito Bros goes is a good one for sure! They have two size options - large and mega. I opted for mega because reasons, and by the time they were done that massive tortilla was at critical mass. They have many different burrito options (and other items as well like tortas and even burgers), and the options that you get to dress it are crazy! So many good things to throw on, multiple cheeses, onions, cilantro, guacamole, etc. The service is amazing - they were a machine getting folk served, but they were friendly and explained everything as we went along. The ambiance was "lunch hour rush", but the place is clean with indoor seating. Next time I'm in the area I WILL be returning! :) read more

Carne Asada Fries / Cali Fries here are the best! The fries are crispy, the carne asada is excellent, and you can customize your toppings. I personally add cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, and chipotle sauce. Chef's kiss. So many places have this dish on their menu in Cali, but so many places do it wrong! Other places have soggy fries and/or their meat isn't as good. It's a super casual place and you bus your own table, but very clean. There's plenty of parking. There isn't a ton of inside seating unfortunately. All the workers are polite and friendly. I highly recommend their tacos and burritos too. Please do not come here. I wanted to give this place a chance since I want to support small businesses but I got diarrhea right after eating the asada burrito. My burrito was cold and mushy. I ordered on a delivery app. When I got to the restaurant, they didnt know that I ordered. I showed them my order and the worker touched my phone to see. He didn't wash his hands after and then proceeded to make my order. Either the food was left out too long, sanitation needs work or both. I am happy to support family owned businesses, but in this case it's not right to let people get sick. It's a small place that has room for maybe 15 people. So unless they achieve more sanitary practices or serve fresh food, I don't recommend coming here unless you want to get sick. read more

Have been coming to this place since it opened but finally dropped a review. It's like chipotle on steroids. The portions that they give you are huge and the price is really comparable to chipotle. Not to mention the meats are delicious. I love the fact that you can customize your burritos however you want them. Staff is always friendly. Funny thing is, I'd driven past it for years while living in Yorba Linda, always taking Lambert on my way back to LA for work, but never stopped. Last week I was with a friend, he asked if I was hungry, and we ended up checking it out. Let me just say... this is easily one of the best burritos I've ever had in SoCal.
