I absolutely love this SOBO resturant on a monthly basis. The brunch food is fantastic, the service is always fast, great drinks and awesome TVs for football on Sundays. 9/10 I go to this place on repeat.

Came on a business trip to Denver with my bf and we tried this place out. The food was very filling and good. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I would recommend if you're in Denver and looking for a quick bite.

After months of driving of past this place, we decided to stop for a small celebratory dinner. The staff were so friendly! And oh my god, the cocktails were amazing! As someone who is a bit picky about what she drinks, I was pleasantly surprised on how good all the drinks were. The BRamble might become my all-time favorite drink to get. It had a perfect hint of sweetness and vanilla to it while being refreshing. We decided to go with Fries & Country Steak Gravy. It was delicious, and the fries were cut so perfectly to scoop out some of the sausages in the gravy. For entires, we tried the ribeye philly cheesesteak and the mushroom swiss burger. Both were juicy and packed with a ton of flavor! If none of those sound good, they have a few other entree options for you try!

The food, ambiance, drinks and staff were amazing! We enjoyed a whiskey tasting and Aaron did a great job in explaining everything about whiskey! You can tell he has a passion for this! My first time going and now that I have found it here, I will definitely be coming often!

For some reason tonight was my first time here. My mushroom and Swiss burger was awesome, and cooked perfectly. And the fries (will remind you of British chips) were great too. My boyfriend's fried chicken and gravy was awesome (though a little smaller chicken portion than we expected). Last, they have some great local whiskey cocktails and my boyfriend was really happy with their beer selection. We'll be back! (Probably on a Tuesday when apparently they have burger specials!)

We've lived less than a mile from here for almost a year but just now tried it for the first time. We went on a Saturday evening around 6pm and it was about a 10 minute wait. My boyfriend got the Kolsh beer which he said was really good. I got the pineapple cider which was fine, but it just tasted like a pineapple seltzer and I felt it was definitely overpriced... $9 for a cider? If it hadn't been for my dyslexia and originally reading the price as $6 on the menu and not realizing the real price until the check came, I wouldn't have ordered it. Oh well. I then got the fried green tomato BLT and my boyfriend got the Jalapeño popper burger. The BLT was good, I don't know if I've ever actually had fried green tomatoes before so that was fun. My boyfriends burger was unfortunately very over cooked, with no pink at all. The best part was the fries which were awesome, I'd never seen fries like those before! The other thing is the place was SO HOT. Granted, it was a 100 degree day, but their AC was hardly pumping we were both sweating through our meal. If I could, I would give it 3.5/5.

When we were running an errand last week for my Mom, Mrs. Whiskeyfellow and I drove past a place called The Whiskey Biscuit. The fascinating name grabbed our attention. As we continued our business, Mrs. Whiskeyfellow read up on what it was. The Whiskey Biscuit is a whiskey bar that serves food. Something that we honed in on was how gluten-free friendly the menu is. Pretty much anything on it can be made gluten-free, and there were plenty of options from which to choose. Last night, we took the opportunity to visit Whiskey Biscuit and, well, let's say if we ever moved back to Denver, I might consider direct-depositing my paycheck there. The bar is fully stocked with most of what you'd be interested in, including all the allocated stuff (Pappy, Blanton's, Weller, etc.). It is primarily American whiskeys, although my eye also caught some of my favorite Scotches. They'll also make craft cocktails as well as the basics. I opted for a flight of Colorado-only whiskeys. It included a pour of A.D. Laws Four Grain Bourbon, Distillery 291 Small Batch Rye, and Boulder Spirits Peated American Single Malt. Did I have a favorite? Sure, but the contest was unfair. After all, Boulder Spirits Peated took my 2021 Best American Whiskey of the Year award. My second favorite was the Distillery 291 Rye, followed by the A.D. Laws Bourbon. With everything on the menu, I was craving a good burger. I selected a mushroom swiss burger and fries. The patty had a Bourbon glaze and didn't come with any of the annoying stuff I hate (lettuce and tomato); that was a plus. The bacon came from Mrs. Whiskeyfellow's Chicken Club, which she enjoyed (but doesn't like bacon - yes, I know, but she's absolutely a keeper regardless). Considering everything we had, the bill was reasonable for Denver. We'll definitely be back. If you're interested in visiting, The Whiskey Biscuit is at 3299 S. Broadway in Englewood. Cheers!

Maybe one of the worst Po Boys I have ever had. The service was good and our server was great but even my wife couldn't eat her burger. Next time we are in Englewood we will keep going down Broadway a few blocks and do the Brutal Poodle instead.

Other times I'm just in the mood for a cocktail that reminds me why I don't waste my time at places that think whiskey and cola is "craft." This visit was all about the cocktails, and Seven Grand absolutely delivered. Josh, our bartender, was running the room like a conductor leading an orchestra of happy whiskey drinkers. He asked what we liked, made a couple of recommendations for Old Fashioneds based on our preferences, and absolutely nailed it. Every drink was balanced, flavorful, and dangerously easy to sip. The guy knows his whiskey, knows his cocktails, and somehow still manages to make everyone at the bar feel like they're his only customer. The whiskey selection is enough to make a bourbon nerd lose all sense of financial responsibility, but surprisingly, we escaped without needing to refinance the house. If Josh doesn't own Seven Grand, someone should probably look into fixing that. Until then, I'll keep showing up to "try just one drink"... knowing full well that's a lie I tell myself every single time. Highly recommend. Just don't blame me when two hours mysteriously disappear.

First, wife is a vegetarian and they had no mains other than Mac and cheese for her. She ordered the salad without chicken which was $25. They knocked it down to $22 after I asked why it was the same price without meat, which still seemed like a lot for a salad with no protein. Kids' Mac and cheese was not the same receipe as last time; it was a different noodle and seemed to be needing some salt as it was pretty bland. Unlike our last visit they did not include an ice cream for dessert. My fried chicken and waffles was ok--the breading was a bit soggy though and I much preferred the Nashville hot chicken from my last visit. If I'm being honest this was closer to a 2 star experience, but with how good the last visit was, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt they maybe tonight they were just off.
