Sunday lunch Menu
Christina G.

First time here, party of three plus a toddler for Sunday lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. Y'all, the music was perfect for me! That 2000's R&B :) Anywho, the menu selections were lookin so good!!! We ordered the artichoke appetizer and it was covered in Parmesan and the dipping sauce was delicious. Next time I'm going to have to try the crab cake and all of the chips and dips. I ordered the Famous Chicken Salad, it was fresh, delicious and huge, enough for two of me. And that yogurt sauce was soooo good! I was skeptical so I had it on the side, but ended up pouring it on the salad anyways, cause it was that good. I also ordered the golden beats side dish, it's seasonal. Order if you like beets. Our server was super friendly and attentive and patient with the toddler. Overall, great first experience and I am looking forward to trying so many other menu items.

Idaho Trout

Nice place to visit . Great service. Polite staff. I ordered Idaho trout with fries . My daughter got a sandwich. Trout was cooked well but it was slightly bland . Fries were really good. Nice and crispy . Excellent drinks . It's a nice restaurant . Modern looking and classy. I would visit again to try other dishes .

Filet Mignon Cobb Salad

Sat in the bar today and our waitress (blonde braid and glasses) was AMAZING! She handled the entire busy bar and she was so fast, attentive, and kind! We had the filet Cobb - just heads up the steak is served cold and pretty rare so be sure to clarify if you want it cooked different. The chips and salsa were incredible. Made fresh daily and delicious. Kids meals not only were very inexpensive but big portions!

Phenomenal food. Amazing service. Our server was at least 5-7 months pregnant & hustling the floor. She was delightful. Great place for date night. Will have to save room for dessert next time.

Great service here everyone was very personable! I also liked the inside and the tables. I'd probably give them 4.5 if they had half stars. I enjoyed the food a lot the sandwich was just not what I expected I guess. It tasted just like a hamburger. The cucumber fizz however definitely one of the best mocktails I think i've had out. They did really well on that one!' Absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back to this spot. I feel like this was on par with Perry's across the way for less money.

Salmon New Orleans

The atmosphere in the place is beautiful! Ambiance is beautiful and the decor is very pleasant and rich! I ordered the salmon the first time I went, which was really tasty but I wouldn't recommend Spanish rice with it! The chocolate Martini is delicious! And yes what I should have ate first was the dessert: white chocolate brownie! First time I had it, came serviced white fudge but the second and third time white chocolate melted into a sauce warmed and served with ice cream and whipped cream!!! The service fits the experience and the servers make sure you are happy and satisfied!

I booked here as my parents were in town. It was hard to tell how to dress because there wasn't a clear photo of the inside. When you come be aware that it is very dark, and some seating requires you to go up steps. Our waitress was so nice and sweet. The service was okay however they forgot to bring out our appetizer and water which was a bummer because I really wanted to try the artichoke. Our entrees came out fairly quickly, so we just asked them to just cancel the artichoke. The burger BBQ bacon burger and the crab cakes were the highlight of the meal. The fries were also cooked to perfect, and our waitress recommend the pumpkin cheesecake which was amazing! Such a good recommendation. Overall, 4/5 stars I would come back if I were in the area, but I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat here again.

Fish and chips were good. Good shoestring French fries. Tortilla chips with ahi tuna appetizer was very good. Our server provided great service. The ambiance was very comfortable.

Great vibes and rambunctious environment We got a cab that was delicious to start. Service was prompt and attentive. Dishes were all really good and healthy portions. I got the steak salad that was surprisingly well made excexuted. We also got the crab cakes and chicken w:mash potatoes. Their fries were top tier btw. I'd order a side if you like fries. Definitely would be back!

We used to look forward to coming here but it just isn't the same as it used to be. Service isn't always good and menu lacks variety.

I'll be calling tomorrow to chat with somebody but this wasn't ok. Why charge us for something we didn't eat? I was very disappointed. We will not be returning. The menu felt smaller and option were limited. The christmas cocktails were good, not anything to rave about. This year they did not have the fun christmas themed shots. For food we tried the potstickers, duck fat fries, the burratta and prosciutto plate, and the lobster ravioli, over all the food was not great and I wouldn't order them again. Food and drink service was fairly slow. The hot chocolate bar felt cheaper then last year and the items listed on the menu were not all present at the bar. I will say I do like this Christmas mug more then last year. Overall unfortunately we will not be returning next year

The bar itself is small with an even smaller stage, but where it lacks in size, it excels in everything else. There are clearly a good amount of local regulars that go there and for good reason. It feels like a place that will remember your name after one visit. The alcohol selection seemed decent (I can't say for sure as I am always happy with cheap beer) and although I didn't try the food there, my bandmates said that the hot dog was really good and the birria grilled cheese is to die for. I will make sure I go back and try them both! If you are looking for a good time at a local bar with good people, Papa's Public House is your place! Zig Zag is one of my favorite go to places for lunch or dinner. I have never had something I didn't…read morelike and the service today (as usual) was excellent. Even though every table was full by 12:15, the staff was hustling. Our server checked on us multiple times and our Hoffens Burgers were excellent. There was plenty of goat cheese, avocado and roasted red pepper. Definitely crave worthy! I loved the curry crema dipping sauce and ate it with my fries and burger. It was very loud for about an hour and then the place began to empty out and the noise level was more tolerable. I noticed they had some specialty cocktails that were new so I'll be heading back soon to try those. Quick additional tip: We tried to go to dinner at 5pm tonight (granted it's a Saturday) and even though the restaurant looked almost empty we were told it would be an hour wait for our party of 6. I feel like we could have eaten and been out in that time but we weren't given a chance. The hostess didn't seem very sorry to see us leave so I'm rethinking coming back any time soon. First time not being welcomed there. So my tip is - even when you think a restaurant is casual - MAKE A RESERVATION. (I really didn't want to eat there twice in one week anyway ;)

The Hubs ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich that comes with bourbon bbq sauce, creamy coleslaw and pickles, and is served with fries (although he swapped out the fries for more slaw). Everything was delicious! I had my burger cooked medium-well and it was perfect; it was still slightly pink inside and moist. While the burger was very tasty, one major plus was that it was also structurally sound (all the ingredients stayed inside the bun and the bun didn't fall apart)! The Hubs also enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. I tasted the bbq sauce and the slaw that came with his lunch and both were amazing (I dipped more of my fries into the extra bbq sauce that came with his sandwich than I did into the comeback sauce). The fries that came with the burger were crispy, not greasy and not overly salted. While I only had an iced tea with lunch, I did peruse their specialty drinks menu. Wowza, is that a read! We'll be back sometime soon for dinner so we can check that out. BTW, their food menu is more than burgers and sandwiches and there are some nice sounding items that appeal to me more for dinner than lunch (two examples (1) Hoisin Ginger Tuna: Sashimi-grade tuna seared rare, parmesan risotto, arugula slaw, (2) Pesto Cream Salmon: Pan seared salmon crusted with parmesan breadcrumbs, penne pasta, pesto cream sauce, cherry tomatoes, roasted red pepper). Despite this restaurant's location next to a boarded up vacant restaurant and being right next to I25, the interior is surprisingly nice and welcoming. And our server was friendly and helpful. So no complaints here!
