First impression: lovely young woman at the hostess stand; very accommodating, kind and, best of all, left handed! She sat us at a great table outside. Immediately, a young man charged up, before we had even been served water, (Chris??). He rattled off the venue's specials so fast, without inflection and without even getting us water or our drinks orders. Neither of us understood a word from him rapid fire, monotone delivery. Disappointing.... We were going to leave and go to Perry's. As we were getting up, Amada came up, introduced herself and immediately engaged us both. She was obviously highly skilled in guest relations, knew the importance of enunciation, inflection and listening and responding when questions about the menu are expressed. We received flawless service from Amada and the team backing her. The fish entrees we ordered were well presented, carefully crafted and well made. Good job, kitchen! Amada and the team supporting her made our evening memorable and special. Management, you have a responsibility to work with the young man mentioned earlier in this review. We came to WCG for our team's holiday party, and had a great overall experience here. They were able to reserve some tables for our team, and it was nice that the bar area had a few football games to watch in the background. The ambiance was upscale, and fairly typical for the area. Our server was extremely personable and attentive, and I never had to wait to get the next round. I ended up ordering the filet with Parmesan crust, topped with mushrooms and on a bed of mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and well cooked, and the Parmesan was a nice variant I hadn't tried before. Got a side of the honey glazed carrots, which were sweet and tender as well. I also got the white chocolate cheesecake w/ raspberry and caramel. Worth noting, this must be eaten for 2, unless you want leftovers. Massive and absolutely delicious! The tuna salad didn't have enough tuna, the grilled chicken sandwich was salted, leather, and the french fries are awful. at best this place is inconsistent. If I could rate this restaurant lower I would. I, and my entire family got a food born illness from the "Famous Chicken Salad". I called and told them, and they sent me a $50 gift card (like I would eat here again), and didn't follow up to find out if we were doing alright or not -- I called again and asked to speak with the manager, and crickets essentially. While I was still puking my guts out, I got one missed call and nada. Mind you, two of my family who fell ill are 16 months old, and three years-old. My husband had to go to the ER. Please reconsider if you want to eat here. They have a very inviting bar area, as well. Our server was very friendly and well versed in the menu. She discussed the daily specials and also told us about some of her favorite classics as well. We started with the Tomato soup with Gin. Must be 21 to try this dish. It was a delight! Very savory and hits the comfy spot. My husband had the Prime Rib special and it was cooked very well. I had the Maytag burger, and it was cooked perfectly and transported me back in time when burgers were simple, but tasty. We were also pleased with pricing. We have always loved the food at The White Chocolate Grill, but our recent experience left us extremely disappointed. When we arrived, we were told there would be an hour wait, and they would send a text when our table was ready. After waiting patiently for an hour, we noticed they kept calling other parties--even one of the hostesses greeted a friend who had just arrived and sat them before us. My husband politely asked the hostess for an update, and she curtly replied, "You still have 19 more minutes." This was after we had already waited over an hour. As time went on, the waiting area thinned to just five parties of two. My husband asked again, and we were told they were waiting for an available table. Meanwhile, other parties were still being called. At this point, it was nearly 8 PM (we had arrived at 6:30 PM), and it was clear we were being overlooked. We finally decided to leave and informed the hostess. Her response? A dismissive "OK." No apology, no effort to make it right--just indifference. WOW. Talk about poor customer experience! It's unfortunate because we truly love the food here, but this experience was unacceptable. Management needs to better train their staff and teach them the basics of compassion and professionalism. We ended up going to Cheesecake Factory instead. We hope The White Chocolate Grill addresses this issue because they've lost loyal customers until things improve. read more

Definitely a big venue where you can hold big parties and gatherings. separated main dining area and grand bar area. Very intimate and dark interior setup. The BBQ ribs are absolutely the best I ever tried, good flavor, good BBQ sauce and with the meat that falls off the bone. Steaks are normal, given the price, I knew they won't be super exotic steaks. The staff are nice and polite but uneducated about food ingredients so be careful with diet restrictions as you might be given various information. Basically we had food allergy and we requested dairy free and the waitress assured us that the gravy is dairy-free but the person who brought the food told us there is dairy in it. So we were very confused and witnessed a discussion between two staff member to figure out which is which. Ended up checking with the chef, it was confirmed that the gravy has dairy and we are just lucky to double check it otherwise I could've ended up in hospital. I would definitely try this place for its bar and BBQ ribs again. read more

We learned after dinner tonight that this location no longer provides free valet parking validation, despite most of the other restaurants doing so. It turned into an expensive meal for us, as we had multiple cars. There is nowhere convenient to self park near this restaurant. Free valet parking has been a very nice perk, especially with an elderly relative who enjoys White Chocolate Grill. The construction project in the parking lot on the other their side of the mall has only worsened the parking situation on this side of the mall. And with the busy holiday season fast approaching, it will get exponentially worse. We likely won't return to White Chocolate Grill. read more

I've been coming to the White Chocolate Grill for many years as it has such a nice ambiance, great drinks and delicious food. I always go for their salads as there are so many to choose from, and all of them are absolutely delicious. The menu has something for everyone. Deserts are a must! The staff is always very attentive and accommodating. Reservations are highly recommended since it does get pretty busy on any given day of the week, and, especially, on the weekends. Their booth area is very charming and relaxing but my the main area doesn't have the same feel at all. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a casual place to dine out! read more

What used to be a slam dunk for meals, out of town guest and special occasions is now pedestrian at best. My wife brought home some of my favorite Brussel Sprout Salad, and I believe I got food poisoning judging from the result. We used to go there at least once a month, but they kept over cooking my wife's filet... we'd get dessert to go with another couple and they mislabeled the dessert so we didn't get the right one at our house, over cooked burgers, dry Roast Beef Dip sandwiches... the list goes on and on. I came with a friend who's into this place and thinks of chain restaurants as really good. Chains can serve their purpose, for sure, but in all honesty, there's not many I like over a smaller-sized restaurant where the food is usually better for many reasons like seasonal, fresh, & locally sourced ingredients. My friend ordered the blue cheese filet, which was well-liked by them. It wasn't served in a way you'd eat with your eyes first, which plating is a big part of foodservice, surprising they don't demonstrate knowing this. I was not feeling land meat, so after some deliberation went with crab cakes. The consistency was good, there wasn't a lot of filler, but sadly the crab flavor wasn't that great. It was fishy and thus not fresh tasting. They served with a tartar sauce, which I'd rather have a remoulade or an aioli or something more suited for crab versus a piece of deep fried fish. However, I was glad to be able to dip the crab cake in tartar to take away from the fishy flavor (sad face). It was a nice touch to add parmesan to the broccoli side and I was deciding on the slaw side earlier, and opted out, but the server kindly added the extra side so that I could try it. It's actually very tasty if you are having a hard time with ordering this side as I was - go for it! read more

The White Chocolate Grill has really fallen off in significant ways: Food & Service. I came in for lunch today and ordered my favorite salad-- The Filet Mignon Cobb. In the past this salad has been incredible but they have changed the ingredients and presentation-- not for the good. The salad was disgusting, soggy and the "Filet Mignon" was a pile of shredded rubbery meat. I was so disappointed. The server dropped the check off at my table as I was in the middle of my meal. I couldn't believe it. What is this? A fast food restaurant? AM I DONE???!?!! I wanted to order dessert but homeboy needed me to scoot, so I did. To top it off, they have the nerve to stand there with their little card readers and awkwardly beg for tips. I tipped him and I wish I hadn't. We have eaten here many times. Tonight we had a reservation and were led to seating next to the bar which we declined. This seating is banquet style seating directly across from the bar with small tables...not dining tables. Not acceptable to us as I don't think it would be for anyone expecting to pay $50 or more per person for their dining experience. The table we were given was sports bar seating! We were then given a table in the dining room (wouldn't you expect a table in the dining room when making a reservation?) and it was stressed to us it was reserved for another party in a little less than an hour later. (I mean excuse me...we had a reservation!) We had hardly even sat down when another person from the check in desk came over and rudely stressed to us we couldn't be seated there unless we agreed to be finished with our dinner in less than an hour.
