Adrienne is fabulous. While I was growing my hair I came to her for different braided looks. I got so many compliments on the braided hair styles she created. She was honest with me on what would work with my hair and was always on point with her suggestions. She also does a fabulous job of cute haircuts and pressing my hair and styling it. Charming has already been my whole family and friends hair stylist for over 3 years. We love her, and we recommend her to our friends(from 19 years old to 65 years old, male and female). When I first went to see Beth, I brought in a picture of my desired hair color and I was not disappointed. One of my favorite things about Beth is that if I tell her a quarter of an inch, she cuts a quarter of an inch. In the past I'd go see people and they'd end up cutting 3 inches when I'd ask for half. My hair doesn't become dry or feel damaged at all (as I had some bad experience with some other salons). The perm lasts for over 6 months. This is a review for Cristina and Linda. I have gotten my hair highlighted by Cristina in three completely different ways. First time was with very subtle red, blonde, and brown highlights on my black hair. Second was lighter and more vibrant blonde and brown highlights. The third was ombre (light brown tips) over my black hair with a bang trim and subtle layers. She was able to work with my formerly highlighted hair to make it blend well with the new ombre she did for me. So far I have been satisfied and loved all of Cristina's work and always get compliments with the new looks I get. It is important for a stylist to give you their honest opinion on how things may turn out, while not swaying you to do something you wouldn't like on yourself. Also, it is crucial to listen to their advice since they really know what would look ideal. Furthermore, she has had a lot of experience and also has a fun and easy going personality! I have gotten an A line cut from Linda once and I also liked her work. She is both professional and friendly and will give you her genuine opinion in terms of the current trend and best look for yourself. She also has tons of experience! DO NOT GO TO CHARMING! I went to Charming to get a cut and ombre done on my hair. i asked her over the phone if she took walk in appointments. She told me she would take me in if i came in about 20 minutes. I got there and showed her a picture of what I wanted, she seemed to know what she was doing. Long story short, she did not know what ombre is. My hair literally turned out half black and half bleach blonde with NO transition at all. There was a line half way down my hair. She tried to play it off and tell me that it would look better after a few washes.......... I explained to her that ombre is supposed to be a smooth transition into another color and she argued with me. I decided to talk to another girl who worked there, Barbie, to get her opinion. The only reason I gave this place even one star is because of Barbie. Barbie was so helpful and tried to give Charming tips to help salvage my hair. Barbie was awesome and I'm definitely kicking myself for not setting an appointment with her instead! I spent 5.5 hours at the shop, got dye spilled on my shoe (Charming didn't even bother to help me clean it), and did not like the end result. I asked Charming to give me a refund on the color portion of my hair since I want to get it fixed elsewhere. She would not budge... All I can say is, do NOT go to Charming to get ombre done. Heck, i wouldn't trust her with my hair PERIOD! read more
