Eggs Benedict
Tamera B.

I enjoyed the Wick and highly recommend. Food: Delicious and can feel the chef's touch! I tried the eggs Benedict and a classic swirl (cinnamon roll). The swirl was so flavorful and soft....warm and plenty of creamy frosting with the made from scratch taste. So good! The Eggs Benedict was done very well! I love the house bread it was on and the hollandaise sauce was so good and fresh. It comes with a side of potatoes and they are really good as well....kinda crispy and seasoned very nicely. Service was great. I was seated quickly and my server was wonderful. Very thoughtful and ensured my expectations were met. Ambiance: Really cute and modern cafe in a converted 1949s home in downtown Celina. I sat inside, but they also have a very inviting outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Tip: There are separate menus for weekdays and weekends. The weekend menu has a few more brunch options. Highly recommend the Wick!

This place is something special. It's warm and inviting when you walk in; the staff is very pleasant. The food we had was fantastic. Breakfast tacos are simple, but these were done so well. Also the swirl, what they're known for, was one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Also, the iced coffee, blended at 1418, was perfect! Can't wait to come back.

Definitely recommend this restaurant! The food, service and ambience were good! Everything tastes homemade and they have a super cute bar area.

Absolutely awesome silverware!!

I have to give this place 5 stars for the following reasons. 1. The decor and silverware are absolutely fantastic! 2. The service is amazing! 3. The building and concept are amazing! 4 stars: Menu is limited which is fine if it's small because it's absolutely perfect and unique. However it's limited and not really unique or absolutely perfect. Food was probably a 3.5 (very good, not absolutely awesome) but they are trying hard so rounding to a 4. They could do so much with a limited menu at the $15 price point but need to improve.

Great service and great food! The decor is very charming. They were featuring breakfast tacos so two of us ordered them. They were fabulous! We also started out with their brown sugar bacon. They were crisp, sweet and spicy. Yum! The mimosas were the perfect beverage with our meal.

Beautiful stemware and utensils set the vibe. The expresso martini was perfection.

Food: Location: Cost: Service: Time with treasured friends: Priceless This was an amazing experience and we can't wait to visit again. If you're in the Celina area, stop by for great food and drinks.

Absolutely amazing! The restaurant is SO cute, staff and owners were so sweet, and the food was out of the world delicious. Love the creativity they pour into their dishes.

Really beautiful and sweet local spot! The owners expanded from cinnamon rolls to brunch and lunch and sweets. We stopped by on a Thursday for a quick bite and enjoyed their homemade pretzels, roast beef sliders and potato salad (with an oatmeal creme pie at the end). The ladies were super sweet and attentive but also kindly gave us space. Looking forward to visiting in the fall and enjoying their lovely patio!

Finally tried for Sunday Brunch This place has super cute ambiance and amazing service! We thought there would be more bakery items available and flavors of cinnamon rolls but they just had a few available (original and maple bacon). Their selection probably changes from day to day. I had the breakfast tacos and my husband had the eggs Benedict. My tacos were huge!, comes with 2 and delicious homemade salsa. The menu is small, it made me wonder if maybe this was only bunch and they might also have lunch...? But I'm not sure if they even have lunch at all anymore. To conclude, this was a nice bruch experience but it's not our new favorite spot. I don't see us coming back anytime soon.

The hamburgers? Frozen meat patties that tasted like they'd been excavated from the back of a 2019 freezer. My fish and chips came with fish that smelled like it had been on a week-long bender in a dumpster behind the pier. And the lobster ravioli? Let's just say the only thing "lobster" about it was the price tag. The pasta was sad, the filling was suspicious, and the whole thing felt like a culinary war crime. But hey, at least the ambience is great! Beautiful lighting, nice decor, perfect for pretending you're having a fancy night out... while quietly plotting your escape to literally any other restaurant. Oh, and don't worry about the shortcuts -- when they're done disappointing your taste buds, they'll hit you with a credit card fee for the privilege. Nothing says "we care about your experience" like charging you extra to leave poorer and hungrier than when you arrived. Save your money, your dignity, and your stomach. Go somewhere else to eat. Do Not Support This Business - Illegal Discrimination…read more I heard about what happened at No Where Bar in Celina and had to leave a review. A family went there to celebrate the father's first Father's Day with their 5 month old baby. The mother was breastfeeding when an employee told them they couldn't do that because it's a "family establishment." Then the manager got involved and the owner ended up telling them to leave. This is illegal. Texas law protects a mother's right to breastfeed in public. The fact that management didn't know this or didn't care enough to follow the law is a huge red flag. And the way they handled it was disrespectful and hurtful to a family just trying to celebrate an important day. What kind of business kicks out customers for something that's completely natural and completely legal? They clearly don't respect their customers or understand basic business practices. The WOMEN who own this place should know better. I won't be going there and I'd recommend anyone who cares about supporting businesses that actually follow the law to go somewhere else. There are plenty of restaurants in Celina that won't treat families like this.

Since we came in the middle of the week on a late afternoon we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our waitress came over who was really sweet and had that southern Texas charm. I ordered the elote with homemade tortilla chips, gluten free Mac n cheese and my mom got a flatbread. Hands down that mac n cheese was the best I ever had, it was so creamy but not over powering with that bold cheese flavor and it was made with gf penne pasta (I know a little weird.. but it was the only gf noodle choice I had). If you don't have an allergy I'm sure the regular noodles are just as good! So if you want that comfort food that Texas is known for, this is the place to check out if you're in Celina.

My husband had the bbq brisket quesadilla and he enjoyed that and said it was a nice size. My toddler had the kids sliders which she seemed to like. My mom had the voodoo avocado club. It was a big sandwich and she said it was tasty. My dad went with the chicky chicky bang bang which came with sweet potato fry's and he said it was delicious. This was right before their holiday drinks were dropping so then brought over a grinch mimosa for our table to try. We love downtown McKinney and so many establishments have that southern charm, friendly service, and just love people. We always bring in a group of paying patrons. Early on we felt there was a clickish vibe, but never thought anything about it. We make friends everywhere, since we are travelers . Last few months we noticed a shift, bartender ruder, lack of service, the regulars shifting their gaze as if something was wrong. Last night ended that for us, and I'm sure they will be thrilled. Our bonus son chose to come here for his celebratory event. We invited a variety of people we knew, local talents, professionals, and family. Hateful comments about having a few balloons and party hats and how "you BETTER clean all that UP, I'm not doing it." We were treated with disdain. No service, each person had to get our own menu when we were ready to order, , and silverware after food was served, no one took our drink orders, when we went to the bar-our tabs were closed after each drink order. The bartender, Chevon, (who is always there) was rude and ugly to our whole group and to those she didn't even know was in our group. The new DJ, (Shawn) skipped over our friend twice. Chevron (bartender) who didn't know the person she was speaking to was my sister, said "I hate that guy, all he sings is rock songs." I mean... it karaoke. And that guy she's talking about has been bringing a group of people here for over a year. So carry on the "high school drama" there are a ton of places in McKinney that are lovely and welcoming. When you are hateful to singers, doctors, nurses, business owners, and veterans... that news will travel fast. And as rude and ugly as this review is, it's not near as rude or ugly as we were treated, individually and as a group. If you are gonna be bias to people, you don't need to be serving them. It's sad, because I know Karen and what Spoons means to her and her family. I hope they clean house and start over in the back. FYI (Shawn was a really nice DJ, he was so kind to people celebrating others.) But other than that, I wouldn't recommend The Garage for any new Collin County resident, any bridal party, bachelor party, or group celebrating anything... you can DM me and I'll give you a personal list of plenty of places to go. Many of them walking distance.

The salmon was also well done with crispy edges and a slab of butter that melted right over it great flavor. Hoping that butter option is available for the steak because that's next on my list.
