My wife and I went there mainly to see a piano duo that was performing that night, we had never been there before. We were shocked! We were met at the door by an extremely nice kid, he had to be 20 years or younger. He treated us like royalty. Once seated there was another young guy there to take our order and offer drinks. We were only there for about 2 hours and in that time we had 5 different people checking on us and letting us know that we mattered! It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST! But the food is always spot on and the wait staff is always so great and patient and seem to genuinely like their jobs. I've lived in the Estacada area for a littlw over a year and I love finding new places close by. I was invited to this restaurant for a friend's birthday party and I was excited to go.. When we arrived there was only about 7 of us. The person seating made it seem like we brought half the world with us and it made is uncomfortable. When we finally got sat, the table was still dirty and no one gave us the time of day. It took our waitress over 15 minutes to even get our drink order and when she did, she only brought water and didn't take anyone else's drink order. We were al ready to order our food by the time we got all our drinks. The food on the other hand was pretty good. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Cajun seasoning. It was amazing! All in all I will eat here again, I just hope the service is better next time. read more

We've been back several times and now we know they really do sprinkle fairy dust on the fries. Actually, they said they fry them in the same cooker as the fish and that does something to them. They really are fantastic. Also the noise is very reasonable most of the time. We go in earlier now and it is much quieter. read more

I found this restaurant about a year ago. It is one of my top three favorite in Canby. I have tried many things on their menu, pretty much every dish was reasonably priced for the generous portions. Drinks aren't bad either. My wife and her friends love sharing the mimosa flight for a weekend brunch. Great place for family and friends. read more

The service never fails. This is the place in Canby to sit outside with friends, a glass of something delicious, good food, and, of course, the bacon-bleu cheese tots. Even if we moved out of the area, we'd stop here for the memories and to enjoy a great lunch. After coming here regularly for ten years, we've never been disappointed. We have been in there several times sense the scamdemic and we have always been met with respect and absolutely kind servers! I hope they keep up the great work and service. Bought a to go taco salad, the meat was cold and the lettuce was warm, fish and chips that had a taste of chemical to them , the coleslaw looked pretty tired, almost glad I didn't have silverware. And our restaurant pack calamari turned out to be the best bite. our order of salad came with no dressing, salt or pepper. And we were not given any silverware, not even a napkin, not even ketchup. read more

Our company orders lunch from here fairly regularly and we have literally never had a single order correct. Every single time there are items missing. Drinks, dressings, and once an entire meal. This is one of my favorite places to eat at in Canby. The place has a great atmosphere of people having fun. The service is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The saloon has plenty of parking. It is also used as a staging area for Harefest every year. During harefest, I would recommend coming early so you can spend some time here. Had the most HORRIBLE TIME HERE! The service was awful. The tacos were extremely greasy and in a puddle of oil. I had brought a drink in to the establishment BY ACCIDENT and I made a comment about that to my family... feeling bad about it but we were going to buy drinks there anyway so I just figured I'd set it aside and take it with me when I left.... OR SO I THOUGHT! Blond haired bimbo literally kicked us out unless we put the coffee in the car after we were already seated and had new drinks ordered. In these situations I personally would just leave it be and mind my own business. One coffee, give us a break. But no the Karen REALLY had to say things with her whole chest. My dad and I would have left the establishment if we were not welcome but my sister chose the restaurant today. The server twat literally argued and yelled at my dad for what seemed like an eternity. My dad was just pissed because she had treated his daughter like dirt by dead a ss kicking me out. We had ordered more than $60 worth of food and a coffee really SET HER OFF. How miserable do you have to be to be this way towards people. Let it go. Noo need to have a stick up your.... All the damn time. Is this how you are with coworkers? Family members? We are people too, you know? Not just another table you have to serve before you clock out. Hope you take this a serious criticism... we were so uncomfortable. Could have just let it go and we would have all had a nice time but no. One Starbucks coffee really set her off. I understand that most restaurants don't want external food and drinks but it was a genuine accident and she made it 1000x worse. She then left and another dude served us. He was super cool and nice. But we already had a taste of disgust for this place. The music is a nice idea but was way too loud and couldn't here the dude over the terrible music set up or acoustics of the restaurant. The microphone was just a muffled sound over the ricocheting sound of the guitar. Prob don't care because being defensive is soooo easy i mean look at me here... but 1 unhappy customer means you lose the lifetime value of us as customers along with very family member and friend we tell about this. We have friends that have get together here and we USED TO like it here. But well just recommend a different place and go somewhere else next time. First time here. Read about it on line. Unfortunately we were on our way home from golf, and no one was really hungry but we wanted to try it for future reference. We split an order of fish tacos three ways, and one ordered fries. The waitress was very nice even though we didn't order much food and only had large glasses of water. Delta Sky Miles can be earned here, holy crap. It's the only place in Canby. The staff are wonderful and the people are super. This is a place to come after work and it doesn't matter if your a little dirty. They have good Happy Hour specials. Biscuits so hard you can't cut through them, poached eggs were very inconsistent some had egg white (clear) on the inside and some were practically soft boiled lol gravy isn't great it's lacking flavor, mimosas are flat couple day old white wine, service could have been better not many smiles or good attitudes , wouldn't recommend asking for a replacement or if you have a problem with your meal unless you like confrontation although the owner was the only nice one lol, glassess and silverware weren't clean, some items were visibly not fresh , but everything else was great. Great place for a casual meal that is made well and doesn't leave you wanting. The ice tea is made well and doesn't turn into flavored water half way through the glass,. They refill it often and with a smile. Unfortunately they don't have the same policy with their wonderful assortment of craft and domestic beers on tap. This is my first time here. Totally enjoyed the food. The staff was a little unorganized but I think it was a shift change. the buffalo wrap was very tasty and so was the tots. The Apple strawberry salad was beautiful and equally great. They had TV's on the walls for your entertainment, slot machines and a music box. The atmosphere was fun. This place was disappointing. Literally, half of all the food we ordered was left behind because it didn't taste good at all. I mean, KEY components of our meals were inedible. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are quite good, and you can't go wrong with the fries. I've also tried the oriental chicken wrap, which was decent; and the halibut tacos, which were just OK. Had a Sunday breakfast here with family who live in town. They were not super busy so we were seated pretty quickly. Neither my wife or I had a "Breakfast Beverage" as we both had something a little more subdued; coffee and oj. The coffee was strong and the oj was fresh squeezed. My brother and his wife had the Harey Marey Bar; a Bloody Mary where you visit a salad bar type set up to get your own vegetables for your drink. My wife had the California Breakfast Sandwich which she enjoyed but barely could finish. I went with the Wild Hare French Toast. It was delicious and unlike anything I've had before or since. Their food selections were an omelet and the biscuits and gravy which both looked great and received no complaints. Service was good and prices look to be fair. Will definitely make a return trip when back in the area. read more

Overall the food was good. We ordered calamari for an appetizer. It wasn't quite deep fried long enough to be totally cooked but was good. We both ordered the Wild Hare burger rare. They were medium-rare when we got them. Customer service was friendly, efficient and quality. The burgers were good though and overall I'd say these guys are a good place to go regularly for a quick night out with your honey if you live locally. read more

This place has been going downhill fast. We've been regulars for roughly a year and at this point we won't be coming back. My son ordered clam chowder and it tasted like it was spoiled, which thankfully they took it off our bill. We ordered food we never got. Their beer cheese for their soft pretzel was like water. Worst of all tonight was the service, nobody regularly checked in to make sure we didn't need anything... but when we were honest about how gross the chowder was, we we got a look from the waitress like we were the ones that were in the wrong! Which then called the manager out, who after a year of coming to the same place, I've never seen. She questioned us, and after saying our dinner was fine to avoid confrontation, (the chowder had already been compensated) she continued to pry it out of us since she clearly knew we were unhappy and needed the confrontation. Which then she took our card and had us pay... full price, minus spoiled chowder. Not sure what the point was for her even showing her face, to make us repeat ourselves for the third time? Looks like lots of staff changes lately. Food is getting gross. It's a bummer because we used to like this place. UPDATE: It wasn't the manager that confronted us, it was the owner herself!
