Came here for my birthday celebration with three other people. We had reservations at 12 PM which is right when they opened. I loved the look of the restaurant and the music was amazing, they were playing a lot of throwbacks! our server was so sweet, the food came out really fast, and the plating of the food was super fancy and cute. The food itself was very good and my favorite by worthy Caccio E Pepe croquettes. two people I was with the French 75 and they said they were absolutely delicious. The burlesque shows were super fun! Overall, we had a great experience! Don't forget to bring cash for tips to the burlesque dancers and keep in mind that the actual surface area that you have to eat on is pretty limited as the tables are very small.

I recommend The Wilder, especially if you can get there during happy hour during which they serve much of their regular menu at reduced costs, slightly smaller portions. The drinks and food are top notch. Very cool atmosphere inside (and they have an outdoor area, after all this is south Florida). Low lighting with incredibly high ceilings and huge lighting shades - lots of tables around couches, tables and a bar. We were headed to the Broward Center and we decided to get dinner prior to the show. The Wilder has a good cocktail menu, and they're made very well. The Cosmo was good, the Old Fashioned was excellent. They have a small wine list. Foodwise, the short rib empanada (two orders) was great with the birria juice, char siu ribs were great (a light crisp and very tasty), the zucchini carpaccio was excellent with a tower of baby arugula and grated parmesan stacked on top of thinly sliced zucchini. My favorite dish was the mango habanero aguachile (with shrimp and a slight kick with tartness). The stracciatella with red grapes and crostini was good, too. The Yuca Frita was delicious, thick-sliced with an aioli. Our bar tender was great and the servers were very good. My only slight ding was the music - a bit too bassy and repetitive.

I got here after dinner, just because I've heard about the good vibes and solid drinks. I wasn't disappointed, and was also unaware that there are live belly dancers here that add to the festive vibe/aura of the establishment. The flow of folks in and out of the establishment was pretty steady, so I'd say it was the perfect amount of people throughout the night (rather than feeling over-packed at any point). Make sure to park in the free parking lot behind The Wilder. The indoor area is a tad bit loud given the music, but that's somewhat obvious/expected - especially at 10 pm when I visited. I opted for outdoor seating, which is open to any/all, and has separate waitresses who tend to those who sit outside. The outdoor area has a cozy, lightly decorative feeling, in addition to sofas. My waitress Maria was super friendly and added to my experience here. I ordered a whiskey sour, and although my first cup featured a tall glass of what seemed like 75% ice, and 25% beverage, it was pretty good. I asked the waitress to provide a lot less ice for the next round, and she asked how I'd like to have it done (and in which type of glass), and brought out the perfect size and ice:beverage ratio for the second time around, with no issues whatsoever. Overall, I'd visit here again!

The Wilder was on the list for our Galentines bar crawl this year. We stopped in for one drink and a quick sit down. The ambiance of this place is immaculate! Its low lighting and intimate setting is perfect for date night or a chill evening. Happy hour or their "proper happy hour" is from 5pm-7pm. We didn't stay long enough to sample any of their cocktails as the bar crawl had prefixed drinks but I definitely want to come back to try their drinks and bites. Another thing I loved was their patio seating. It's a garden setting with comfy lounge like seating and trees as cover from the sun. It's perfect for both hot or cool days. Will be coming back for date night soon!

After a slightly disappointing Valentine's Day dinner elsewhere, we decided to salvage the night with a nightcap at The Wilder and immediately regretted not just spending the whole evening there in the first place. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was exactly what we'd been hoping for all night. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and the bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through the cocktail menu with genuine enthusiasm. You can tell they really know their craft. The drinks were phenomenal beautifully balanced, creative, and memorable in a way that makes you want to order a second (and maybe a third). Every cocktail felt intentional and expertly executed. We also got a look at their Valentine's Day menu, and it looked fantastic. Thoughtful, well-curated, and far more exciting than what we had experienced earlier in the evening. Lesson learned. The Wilder is always a hit, and this visit just reinforced why. Next Valentine's Day, we know exactly where we're making our reservation.

This place is very very nice and a good time to come with friends. We came for the burlesque brunch and it was delicious. It was not crowded at all and the dancers were amazing. Wish they would have had a few more performances but overall not bad. The drinks were phenomenal. But the star of the day was definitely the food. From all the appetizers we ordered to the amazing fresh lobster Benedict's! The croquettes were highly raved about on yelp and I can totally see why! Delish! The short rib empanadas incredible. The yuca frita perfect amount of crunch with a delicious sauce on the bottom. My lobster Benedict was to die for! Super fresh and amazing flavors all in one. Highly recommend this spot for a girls brunch date! Amazing.

This is the kind of place that's been around for forever but no one ever really talks about it, and you wonder how it's stayed in business all these years. I've only been here for drinks once before, and it's definitely a cute little spot with its own free parking lot in the back which is nice and convenient. I came here for my birthday dinner last night and didn't realize it's more of a lounge than a restaurant. They sat us at a table along the back wall inside with the low lounge type table. The music was loud, but not loud enough to not hear the people next to you talking. It was nice and dark inside to set the vibe. Also don't realize they don't really have dinner plates, and it's more like shareable tapas kind of vibes, which wasn't an issue. It did take our server a bit of time to come greet us initially, but after that she was good and kept checking on us. We ordered the yuka fries, the arancini, and the shrimp. The yuka fries are slightly spicy, so heads up on that, and the shrimp was overcooked. The arancini was super delicious and my fav dish of the night. For dessert we had the miso flan with a churro which was also super delicious. It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be having to eat on a very low table/my lap. The drinks were super good, with my favorite being the dojo. At 10pm on Saturdays they have a dj and do a fire show. We left around 9:45pm and they took away all the table lamps and replaced them with candles to make the room even darker. I will say, there was almost no one in the place by the time we left. It was most packed at 7:30ish when we arrived and slowly dwindled down as the night went on. All in all, this is a cute place, and I would definitely come back again, I just don't think it was the vibe I was going for for my birthday dinner.

This is a great place to grab a cocktail and some apps and just chill. They have a cute outdoor seating area, and the weather was beautiful when we went the other night so it was perfect to sit outside. We shared the zucchini carpaccio and the croquettes. Both were really good. I was disappointed that my lychee martini came without a lychee, so I switched to wine instead for my next drink. Wednesday is 50% off bottles, and on Sunday they have a burlesque brunch. I've never been, but I may check it out sometime!

A group of friends and I went here on a Saturday night during their happy hour and we all loved our experience, my husband and I will 100% be back I loved the music, the atmosphere/decor, and lightening, everything is so beautiful with a lovely bar Our waitress for the night was Mino, she was absolutely FABULOUS, so friendly and attentive and genuinely wanted to make sure we were all enjoying our time, food and drinks, which we absolutely were I wasn't able to get pictures of everything we tried that night but believe me EVERY single thing I tried was so delicious! I have some I want to really highlight, first has to be the Mango Habanero Aguachile shrimp dish! WOW! Obsessed is an understatement, it's like it was made for me, I'm a huge lover of Habanero peppers but not so much into mango but I'm so glad I trusted Mino's suggestions to try it, she said it's newer to the menu and I'm here to say, if you love spice that's not too sweet, just the right amount, then you have to try this! The flavor is just too good AND it was SO fresh, can't wait to get that again soon! I really liked the Truffle Gnocchi too, that was a crowd pleaser, I love when a dish has a truffle sauce that actually taste like the truffle flavor, it was seasoned very well. The Yuca Frita was also excellent, nice crisp without being overdone and the sauce that came underneath was perfect with it, I really like the Harissa pepper sauce. The Short Rib Birria Empanada was also Fantastic, it comes one per order in the small plate but I personally think it's worth a try, I loved the sauce it came with for dipping and the sauces on the plate, the Short Rib was so juicy and tender too. I didn't try the the Char Siu Ribs but my friends who tried them said they had a nice flavor to them with a slight char on the edges, the sauce was more on the savory than sweet side, they looked absolutely stunning as you can see in the photo, they truly glisten. For the Drinks, I had the Vodka and the Gin Cosmopolitans, after trying them both I personally enjoyed the Gin more but they were both made really well and it's been a good bit of time since I've gotten a good one, almost to the point where I had forgotten they could be good, so thank you, The Wilder, for renewing my faith in the Cosmo! I also took a sip of the Traditional Margarita which I thought was just Okay, Maybe a little on the acidic side for mine and my husband's liking. Lastly tried a bit of the Playmate and the Kiss This, which were not on the happy hour menu but those were both amazingly tasty! We all loved those, They really know how to make their cocktails here! Overall, such a great spot with an amazing happy hour Tuesday - Saturday 5pm - 7pm with a lot of options to choose from, Attentive and friendly service (Thank you Mino!) and free private lot parking in the back of the building, so convenient, I mean what more could you ask for! This place is wonderful!

I really didn't know what to expect but someone recommended the Burlesque Brunch at The Wilder so I wanted to give it a try. 5 stars, it's the epitome of what brunch should be with a light show. The restaurant is really nice and I believe they have outside seating also. The staff was nice and accommodating. The food was great. My steak wasn't really medium but I still enjoyed it. The lobster Benedict was full of flavor. My old fashion was good (I wish they had Smokey old fashions). I do wish the shows were a bit longer/frequent. I would recommend the Wilder brunch to anyone looking for a calm, relaxing Sunday with great food.

Came for happy hour but stayed for the absolute best vibe. The restaurant along with the staff were all amazing. All the food ordered was atleast a 8.5/10. Special shoutout to Nathalia who was my server ... see you again very soon Wilder team.

In reply to the business owner-- The first dancer for the show went on at 1:05pm exactly as per the time stamp snd again my entire party was present for the "burlesque show" so unless there is another area for performance outside that none of the patrons knew about or perhaps the time I was there things were running late. However there is a difference between 12:30 and 1:05 if we are splitting hairs over this. Also the waitress/server was the one that explained the "Prosecco Zero" as not alcoholic when I wanted to buy a bottle since Mimosa is not included as an option in your bottomless options only spritz. So if there is any misconceptions or misunderstandings regarding the prosecco that should be re-clarified to your staff because I only posted what was explained to me by my server for that day as part of the experience I had. And Now to learn that the information provided to me was incorrect is a bit disappointing esp since my party was celebrating a birthday, we would have rather purchased bottles of prosecco and create a mimosa as they didn't really enjoy the seasonal spritz listed. Thanks for the clarifications! Cheers!

Super cool, classy, hidden spot! Don't be discouraged by the exterior when walking up - it almost looks closed. Enter through the patio door. Gorgeous dark interior, nice patio, good music, fantastic creative cocktails (try the Sincerely), delicious food, and a very cool staff! A new favorite spot!

    Don't be jaded !

The staff's vibe is so cool that they should offer Helly Hansen wear to ward off the frostbite. Reservations? Apparently on a Thursday off season are still are a must. The bar, the walk-ins' purgatory, is quite full. You are rather curtly directed there. When you are able to land a seat? You are greeted with pleasant diffidence, by the Asian bartender. Menus? You ask. He points to a cold COVIDesque QR code. There is nothing inviting about a menu on my phone. It's like dine in Uber Eats. We ordered drinks. I ordered a Tomcat Gin old fashioned because I know the gin and I've made them before. Good drink. The one with the strawberry hazelnut etc was just not good. It lacks contrast and depth. Too sweet. Too nutty. The bartender is working right in front of us. My daughter isn't drinking it. Does he ask if our drinks are okay? No. Drink dropped. Rang in. Next thing. I do get him to take our order. The one bit of semi-human contact. We ordered a broccoli rabe pizza. It's a small bar. I wanted hi to fix or replace my daughter's largely unconsumed cocktail. He was so adept at walling off the we, the uninteresting, that even I longed for the despised Ronald Reagan to call for him to "tear down that wall." The runner dropped our pizza. It came in reasonable time. The crust was excellent. The only highlight of the meal. The pizza itself was duller than a Brewers-Marlins game. An ocean of a slimy greasy cheese that was so bland it dragged the whole thing into the same monotony that the drink had. Very little rabe. Even less sausage. No real contrast, texture or flavor. Maybe lobotomic cuisine is the latest hipster trend? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We ate. No check in from the bartender. I actually wanted another drink with dinner. That apparently was not to be, for my enjoyment, his tip, and the restaurant's bottom line. He got around to asking, as he was cleaning up vacated counter seats, if we wanted another drink in that tone that mecánicas servers get when they ask if you want dessert and you're the last table in the restaurant. I told him that I would have loved one earlier if he had asked when we got our food. No apology. I've seen tree sloths more emotional. He was delighted to slap-shake with one of the beautiful people regulars next to us, on their way out. Icing on this ice castle. There's a little bit of parking at the restaurant, and a paid public lot across the street, if disdain and distant service are your fetish. Not that anyone in this kind of setup cares. I won't be back.

Atmosphere was refreshing as it was outside, with fireplaces, green, and TV's to watch sports game (hello World Cup). I went on a Wednesday and there were deals on menu items, drinks, and wine. My friends and I enjoyed a couple glasses of wine with our two pizzas which tasted INCREDIBLE. Our waitress highlighted that all the pizzas are made with a sourdough crust. And what is amazing, is that you can do 1/2 and 1/2 on a pizza. Meaning you can choose a sausage pizza and do an artichoke pizza for the other half. I was shocked at how good the margarita pizza was. I'm often the person my group relies on to choose restaurants, so I was genuinely excited to have our group meet here based on my past experiences and what I thought would be a great atmosphere for watching a game. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning, as the interaction with management completely overshadowed everything else. I organized a reservation for a party of 10 after learning that an industry colleague was planning corporate group outings at the restaurant. The restaurant also heavily promotes itself as a destination for watching sporting events and accommodating large groups, which made it feel like a perfect fit. I made the reservation several days in advance and received both email and text confirmations, including a separate text from a manager confirming our party of 10. One member of our group arrived early with a few friends and began ordering food and drinks while waiting for the rest of the party. They also asked if our tables could be seated near each other once everyone arrived. It was at that point that the situation began to deteriorate. The manager insisted there was no reservation for 10 people and claimed the system only showed five, despite the confirmations we had on hand. Another member of our group who also had a reservation for 10 attempted to clarify this but was told by the general manager that he "didn't care what the confirmations showed" and that he had the final say. When several members of our group called the restaurant to try to resolve the issue--since we were actively arranging Ubers and wanted to clarify before heading over--the conversation became increasingly confrontational. Instead of attempting to understand the discrepancy or offer any solution, the same dismissive tone continued. I also called myself in an effort to de-escalate, but was met with an unprofessional and condescending response, with the manager stating he was not going to tolerate our party's behavior and abruptly saying, "I just cancelled your reservation." Having worked in and around the restaurant industry and growing up with a father who was a chef and restaurant owner, I understand that mistakes happen and systems aren't perfect. I've also worked in multiple roles within the industry, so I'm familiar with how these situations are typically handled, and I've never encountered that level of hostility directed at guests over a reservation issue. What I don't understand is meeting paying customers with hostility instead of professionalism. A simple willingness to investigate or problem-solve could have completely changed the outcome. Since we were unable to have a productive conversation with the manager, the friends who were already seated left. The rest of us Ubered to meet them elsewhere, and our group ultimately spent the rest of the evening, and our business, somewhere else instead. It's especially disappointing because the food has always been good, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Customer service starts at the top, and unfortunately, the interaction with management overshadowed everything else. I sincerely hope ownership takes this feedback seriously, as the restaurant clearly has potential. Based on this experience, and reflecting concerns others have raised as well, I can't recommend it for large group reservations.

I've probably been to the Luigi's about five times since I wrote my first review in 2018 and every…read moresingle meal I've had here has been insanely good. On our last visit we split the lentil soup, the meatballs, the sauteed vegetables with peperoncini and olives, and a pizza. Everything was super fresh and delicious! Also the portion sizes are very generous, we had tons of leftovers. The only possible criticism I could think of is that the tables are really small. Even if you're ordering the pizza it's pretty cramped, imagine with appetizers and whatnot. A little difficult. Additionally, they get super crowded especially on the weekends and seating is very limited, even with the outdoor tables in the parking lot. But other than that, this place is fantastic, and the service is great too! Nearly forgot to mention that. Overall I have to give Luigi's another 5 star rating. They're easily one of my favorite restaurants in all of Fort Lauderdale. Check it out!

We walk over, sit down and ask what the lunch specials are and the waitress says they don't have any. When we told her we had called she said well the only special is the personal 8" pizza with up to 3 toppings. Then she says there is a lunch size house or cesar salad. There are no lunch prices listed anywhere. When we ask her for the prices, she has to look it up on her handheld ordering machine. She says the salads are $7.95 and the pizzas are $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. We each order a lunch salad and a personal pizza with up to 3 toppings. Salad was a good size. Pizza was OK. Very thin and very light on toppings. When we get the bill, it is higher than we thought. But my husband pays. I look at the itemized receipt and see that we were charged $1.50 per topping. I ask her about the bill and remind her she said the pizza was $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. She says, yes but the toppings are $1.50 each. I tell her she never said that and how am I supposed to know. And if I am paying for the toppings, why would you limit me to 3? It doesn't make sense. She said she was sorry but didn't offer anything to make it right. I shook my head, laughed and walked out. Total bait and switch. Never going there again.

I ordered a fried chicken add-on with my pasta, and the chicken was inedible--extremely tough and rubbery. I politely brought it to the manager's attention and asked if it could be cooked a bit more or replaced. When it came back, it was still not edible. When I explained this again, the manager dismissed my concern, saying, "that's just the chicken," and made no effort to fix the situation. He didn't offer a replacement, remove the charge, or show any level of customer care--instead, he argued with me. I've never experienced such poor customer service here, which is disappointing because the restaurant itself is otherwise fantastic. I truly hope ownership addresses this, because one manager's attitude can completely ruin what is otherwise a great place.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the pizzas on the menu honestly. The dough is so soft and flavorful and they have the best topping selection. I really thought the bacon and jam pizza was such an amazing flavor! It was sweet yet savory and I would say that was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! I also didn't realize they have a speakeasy inside. From the road you would never believe it exists besides the pizza shop. It's called the apothecary and they have a huge assortment of crafted cocktails! I tried the New Pal which was a citrusy take on an old fashioned and I thought it was really well done! It was also strongggg. I can't wait to come back and show other people this spot. Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Fort Lauderdale along Himmarshee.

Although this place looked great, but between crying kids, and a couple poorly done menu items, they lost a lot of points on execution... Our server Tomas was great! Best part of the whole experience. When we got to see him, which wasn't often, because they were short staffed or something as he was also tending bar (where he excelled), and running to take care of everyone, all while being berated loudly by an older gentleman we had to assume was the boss. The food was where they could have made up for that, but sadly, it was all over the place. - Calamari were crispy yet tender, and perfectly seasoned breading, but the accompanying sauce was too spicy for almost everyone in our party. - Meatballs were decent sized, and though they presented beautifully they were dry and overly dense, with their sauce on the opposite end of the spectrum with almost no flavor, and sadly that matched the flavorless meat as well. - Pizzas were the star, creative and delicious though, with just the right amount of toppings but just too much char on the crust. Tomas really shone as a bartender/ mixologist though, coming up with imaginative cocktails on the fly based on our favored liquors. The ambiance is cool, and there is a really decent speakeasy vibe going on with the decor but maybe try it at night to see if that vibe comes through under cover of darkness, cuz today wasn't it.
