Ordered 5 windows on May 8th, they said it will be 2-3 weeks. It's now almost 4 months later and I still don't have 1 of the windows. They keep blaming their provider but when I last spoke with the manager they admitted to marking the wrong window as here and the wrong window was reordered causing another huge delay. 4 months! It's not OK and I don't feel they are taking enough accountability and just placing blame on Milgard. Great place for windows and doors! We used their Ins stock windows to replace all of the original windows in my rental and they are so much better! They have a lot of in stock standard size dual pane affordable windows. I've found it's best to order windows in person if the ones you need aren't in stock. I frequent this location A lot! I have to say our company K10 Construction does a lot of purchases here & every time they have been so helpful & knowledgeable! They have had everything I needed in stock and ready!! Can't tell you how important that is in this field! BUT 2 people really stuck out and went above and beyond their normal work load. Mark & Miguel were so Friendly, Helpful and a life saver! They are always pretty busy and even when they are they STILL take extra time and help me ( I'm a woman) with straps and getting it secure in my truck bed . I'd be lost and frustrated if it weren't for the taking time to really help someone instead of sending them on their way to figure it out yourself! Trust me a lot of companies do that ! I love everything about the Window Depot and I'm happy to see that they've opened up a second location in Phoenix. They have the best prices in town on skylights, windows and doors and they have a huge selection! The staff are also extremely helpful and they're plenty of staff to assist to you. I bought some windows from them a few months ago and today I came in for a Solatube tube skylight. I'm so happy that they have this brand as I know that it's the best one on the market. I found that Home Depot only has the cheaper ones. Sam helped me today and he was so great and very patient with me, as I had a lot of questions. He showed me all of the accessories that I could get with it and ordered me a special decorative lens to go with it. I was able to take the tube light home today and he said the lens will be here next week. He then was able to recommend someone to do the labor for it. The store is clean, big, they have a huge selection and a helpful sales staff. If I move or need to remodel again, I'll definitely be back here for my skylights, windows and doors! read more

VERY POOR Customer service. We ordered a window and paid for it. I went to pick up the window the next day and NO ONE had put the window aside. There were NO WINDOWS in stock when I got there. Had to wait one hour before someone who knew what they were doing to help me. she said she would get a window from a different location and have it there 2 days later. I called to make sure that happened before I wasted my time again and of course THAT NEVER HAPPENED. In fact they said I already picked up the window!!! ALSO when I called the guy on the other end of the phone was VERY RUDE and short with me on the phone. read more

First I will say, great employees. Prices, same or slightly less than Lowes depending on doors. My biggest issue, it is PHOENIX in summertime and apparently the owner knows 3 of the coolers don't work, but is ok with that. He is making enough money and busy enough that he doesn't care to fix them. And I'm are not even talking a/c, I'm talking evap coolers that you can replace for $700. I understand this is a warehouse, so is Lowes, so is Home Depot (and guess what? They have real a/c) It was 115 today. Ridiculous! From the minute we paid for our countertops, the customer service received was horrible. When we went to pick up countertops as we purchased at night, we were given the run around for a month. I have had an awful experience with every person at this place. I do not recommend! Brandon the manager is extremely ignorant. First he told us that our windows would be there in 2 weeks. (The whole reason we ordered with him) it actually ended up taking more than that. He then messed up measurements for one of my biggest windows in my addition. Which would be no big deal if he took responsibility for his actions and fixed it. That is not the case at all. After talking to many other window experts I have realized that first - he should not be managing any store, but secondly should not be ordering windows when he can't listen, understand or write down simple measurements. My husband and I hoped we could still use it but once we got home realized that we would have to move electrical and take out pieces of our wall. Essentially costing us thousands! We spent almost $5,000 for windows with this store for our entire addition and they can't even fix their mistake. This has went all the way to corporate and even they won't do anything but give us a window "at cost" which is $580 when we spent $700 and something for the window itself. It's a special order so they will not let us return it or give our money back. DO NOT BUY FROM WINDOW DEPOT!!!! They have zero morals, treat their customers like trash, and have no common courtesy what so ever. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

For my latest remodel project I decided to go with The Window Depot for all the Windows and doors throughout my project. I had bids from other vendors but The Window Depot was able to price match the lowest order. Last week I was told a Fireguard door for my garage would be arriving. When Brandon the manager found out it somehow didn't make it on the the truck, he called me to inform me that he would personally pick it up from their Tucson location and deliver to my project sight. Although a couple days behind schedule, I appreciated the above and beyond effort to fulfill the order ability to work with me on price matching. read more

I purchased all windows and doors for my new home here about 4K worth. I'm happy with the product however the sales people lack any real customer service. Rude comes to mind almost if as the customer is a bother. I did try several different sales people hoping for better service, nope. They all seemed to have the same snide attitude. unfortunately I ordered several windows at different times, So I had to come back to get the same brand. On a positive note It is easy to shop here. Luckily half way through my house build I met Robert. He has been excellent to work with. I only would deal with him to finish my build. I literally left once because he wasn't working and came back to order my last windows. Thank you Robert! The other sales staff should follow his sales ethics lead. read more

I drove across town to find that the window depot is a total waste of time. No social distancing despite the sign on the door that they practice it. They have a very small selection of low end doors and windows and cannot/ will not special order. They don't have a single door over 6'8" tall. Don't waste your time. read more

Called over the phone to get an estimate on a large door. It has been 2 plus months and I have not received a straight answer on the price and details of the door they are recommending to replace mine with. Their quotes are generic to say the least. After going back and forth with a sales associate I asked for a manager and explained how things have taken way to long and I need a straight answer. He apologized and said "We are really busy". Wow. The manager gave me the same horrible service as the associate. I still to this day do not have a price and my questions answered. Very disappointed. Went to go get a window special order and they were the wrong sizes they had to redo it 2 times and still wouldn't get it right. Very poor customer service also just wanted the glass and now say they discontinued that since December when I got one made two months ago hmm Never again!! read more

I had to order a replacement door for my home, one that I would have thought was fairly standard: a steel exterior door, no frills. I told the salesman I needed a Left Hand, Outswing door. I even brought in photos of the old door so there would be no confusion. My receipt showed "AZLH OUTSWING", so I assumed everything was OK. But when it arrived two weeks later, it was a right hand door, and clearly labeled as such. They refused to take it back and give me credit, because it was a "special" order, even though I argued that they did not deliver what I had asked for and expected. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. BBB tried to contact the Window Depot multiple times, and got no response whatsoever. read more

I purchased quartz countertops in late 2017. I was happy with the price and initial service, however everything else lacked. The installer who was recommended by Window Depot, Pedro was not a great communicator. He missed the instal date and rescheduled then needed my sink for cutting at a moments notice. At the instal we all realized he didn't understand we had a slide in range. It took TWO months to get him to correct the issue. In addition my undermount sink is not cut or mounted correctly (it's off center) and the area behind my stove does not match the rest of my counter. You might be wondering how Window Depot helped me... they didn't. I called several times asking for them to reach out to Pedro with no support. This is why I am reviewing Window Depot and sharing my experience with Pedro. My counter is beautiful but don't look too close. read more
