We love our new 10' wide x 8' high sliding glass doors. Owners Nick and Margie were so easy to work with and gave us exactly what we wanted. Our contractor who installed the doors said the quality and workmanship of theses doors were just as good if not better than the well known national brands and were at more reasonable price. Frank, from Your Window Shoppe, also came and installed the screen doors for us and did a couple of adjustments (that we didn't know were needed nor did we ask for them) and was so professional and diligent. Finally replaced our windows (half were aluminum and half vinyl) and French Doors with wood trim that were old and had air leak issues. They all also had the traditional grid pattern on them that affected the ability to clean them as easily and the natural light coming into the house. Went with window shoppe after seeing their truck around the neighborhood before and reading on their website and comparing their prices to some of the other installers who use middlemen. They save you money by manufacturing the product themselves. They were able to complete the project in one day and ended up squeezing us into their schedule a week earlier than initially planned, due to a cancellation which was perfect for us. Kyle came by to give us the estimate and he was great to talk with, the installers were also very nice and professional and answered any questions I had. They did 7 windows and the sliding glass door in one day and left the house looking clean, we love our new windows and door and can feel and hear the difference in the seal quality when the dogs are barking outside now. I really like the patio door screen as well, everything is functioning smoothly. There was a slight defect on one window that we noticed and they are standing by their work and going to pop it out and replace for us when they get a chance to schedule it, overall very pleased with our decision to use them. read more

I was looking forward to having The Window Shoppe come out and give me an estimate for my project. The first time I called, I didn't have enough windows to meet their minimum. So, I called back later after deciding to add more window replacements to my project and left a message. Kim was very friendly and made an in home appointment for me. The appointment time came and went, no TWS folks showed up, nor did they call. Instead, I called them......I called 7+ times and left 3 messages with TWS asking for a return call to reschedule. At no time was I rude or anything but polite as I really wanted an estimate from a "factory" window manufacturer. I called right before writing this review, in hopes of reaching someone and scheduling an appointment. But, alas, no answer, just the machine and I didn't want to leave another message. In closing, I can't comment on the quality of their work as I couldn't even get them out for an estimate. I'm not sure what I did wrong with TWS, but the other two companies I called came right out at the appointed time and provided me with estimates. I'm sorry TWS, but I cannot in good faith recommend a business that won't keep an appointment, doesn't call their (potential) customers when they miss appointments and most of all, won't respond to voicemail. read more

We purchased new windows for our whole house and paid a lot of money so we were hoping for a good experience. Overall the quality of the windows are really nice and we are happy with the windows. The service portion was frustrating. They give you a 2 hour time window of when they will be arriving. Out of the 6 times they were supposed to come to our house, 3 of the times they were late by 45 minutes after the time window that was given. The installers were friendly and nice but didn't pay attention to detail. They had to come back 2 different times because of things they didn't finish. Once because they forgot to put the cocking all around one of the windows on the inside. The second time because they didn't install the keeper in the screen door (It took them over 2 weeks to respond to me on this second matter, they responded after I emailed the owner). These mistakes would have gone un noticed unless I said something. I understand installing new windows isn't easy and sometimes you make mistakes and can hit the walls. But... I had to patch a lot of the window sills and repaint after the new ones were installed because the dry wall was missing. Also, when they were carrying a bigger window through our bedroom door frame they took a chunk of wood out of the frame and filled it with the cocking they put around the windows and didn't tell us. Kim in the office was very nice and kept trying to fix the mistakes for us but the follow through wasn't very good with the installers. read more

It was my first time purchasing windows, so I did a lot of research. Typically whenever I do a project this big I get at least a minimum of three quotes. Not only was the window shop the lowest, they were essentially the same material as other high brand names. My initial contact was with Kyle, which was the owner, which came same day for an appointment since I called earlier in the day and he was around the area. He came to my house, did a ton of measurements, and within the same day gave me all the information needed to provide to my HOA. I requested previous projects within the area so I can walk to my neighbors house and see how it was. Everybody said amazing things about him and his company. After that, I got two additional quotes that came in much higher, and the other people didn't provide any type of follow up. Kyle answered all my questions immediately and invited me to the show room to see how the product would look like at the very end. Throughout the whole process, he answered all my questions in a very timely manner and gave me all my information for HOA approval. After deciding to move forward with them the entire process was very simple. Scheduled a date after my HOA approval and Ian and Josh arrived at my house for the day of installation. Both of them were extremely respectful and kind and they said the expectations upfront about what room they're going to work with in a timeframe of everything. I think overall I was expecting a two day project which they completed in six hours. I'm working on solar and AC and wish the other companies I selected were half as great as the window shop with price , customer service, and being respectful towards my time.
