We drove 1000 miles and the front windshield of our Forrester was hit by rocks on the road resulting in multiple punctures and a long fracture. We had used the big company (that advertises a lot,) twice, on other vehicles, but in a year period, they doubled their price claiming it was due to "tariffs." The Windshield Guy not only has great reviews online, they quoted us a price that was 50% lower than the other company we'd used before. Max arrived on time and worked in front of our house in 100+ degree heat for over an hour. Then he took our suv to their shop to calibrate the many sensors on the Forrester's windshield. This is the third time we have used The Windshield Guy for mobile replacement or installation of a windshield. Two times it was for classic 1966 Mustangs, he ordered the Carlite correct windshield and rubber gaskets and took great care in keeping the stainless outer trim undamaged. One was for a restoration, and it had a fresh paint job so was concerned about not damaging it. On that car, Rocky also installed my used rear fastback window. He is meticulous, cleans as he goes, takes the old glass with him and the final result is stunning. They were very responsive, fast and priced very well. Only reason for three star was, after it had been replaced, we got hit with a rock in under 48 hrs and so I tried to reach out to them and ask if they could repair the chip or possibly have to replace the windshield again based on their suggestion... have called them and left a message as well as text the one who replaced it... they didn't bother to even follow up on it. Fast friendly service. I assumed that I would have to buy a new State Park sticker for my windshield, but Rocky was able to somehow remove it and put it on the new windshield.
