It is so beautiful there with a view of vineyards towards the road or the big trees and vines towards the buildings.

For the tasting however, that's where the bad experience happened. We were having such a wonderful time, until we got a woman named Alayna. She seemed like she was in a bad mood, had a bad attitude towards us, made us feel rushed, corrected the way we "tallied" our choices on the tasting menu, and was extremely off-putting with little condescending comments. Other than that experience, we enjoyed our time. We would come again, and just dodge her in the future if we saw her in the tasting room.

My son and husband also really enjoyed the burrata salad. For my entree I had the burger and fries. The fries were a bit soft for my liking, but the burger was good. My son really liked the halibut on a bed of corn hash? We forgot what the menu described the corn as, but my son loved the corn kernels with the corn "hash" under it. He probably would have licked the bowl clean if we were at home. Overall a solid meal, and we may return tomorrow if we can get in early enough to not need to wait.

There's music, revelry and a lot of satisfied bellies all around you. It's definitely an experience to take in. We had a bit of a logistical hiccup getting in, and unfortunately I wasn't able to try the Mad Scientist BBQ (winner from last year) but there's always next year. And with that being said, I sampled at least 8-10 other very legitimate BBQ teams serving some of the best ribs and chicken I've ever had. If you are fortunate enough to secure a ticket for this event next year I recommend a couple things: -Get a beer lanyard for $5 (they are super helpful) -Come with an empty stomach -Eat first, then drink. Super cool spot for drinks and apps located on the main drag in Guerneville…read more I visited Trillium for their afternoon Happy Hour and sat at the bar. What a cool spot to sit! You get to watch all of the action in the open kitchen from the bar. I loved watching staff shuck fresh oysters and prepare the other tasty dishes here at Trillium. I don't drink, but luckily, Trillium offers a great alcohol menu and a small NA section. The NA Rose I ordered was very tasty. I didn't splurge on any bites, but everything I watched come out of teh kitchen looked fantastic, and the happy hour deals are a steal! The service was great all the way through, and I just had to order a slice of the fresh coconut cake to go. It was creamy and delicious with tons of coconut flavor. Just a side note- this is not a spot for kids. I am glad I visited on my own. Great spot in Guerneville, very popular for HH and worth the visit for sure!

We ordered the bratwurst, red cabbage salad, German potato salad, potato pancakes, spätzle, and Jägerschnitzel. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was honestly hard to pick a favorite because everything was so delicious, but if I had to choose, the Jägerschnitzel absolutely stole the show! For dessert, we had the freshly baked apple strudel, and it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. You could taste how fresh everything was--from the flaky, buttery pastry to the warm apples and even the homemade whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. This is a great spot whether you're dining as a couple or with a larger group. If you're planning to come with more than five people, I'd recommend calling ahead to see if they can accommodate your party with a reservation. We chatted with the German owner who was doubling as a bartender, who was very nice. We loved the German influences in the bar, as we had just been to Oktoberfest in Munich. The owner's daughter Sarah runs the kitchen. My husband had a pork tenderloin schnitzel "Vienna style" ($20) and I had a jaegerschnizel with mushroom gravy ($20) and both were excellent. We split the potato pancakes (two with sour cream and apple sauce, $12) which were served crispy but tasty. They had a nice German beer and wine list. We finished with a delicious apple strudel to complete a lovely meal. I recommend this restaurant for tasty dinners in a unique venue.
