I wish I could give 4.5 stars. I would give 5 but the huge swarm of flying insects inside when you walk in put us off. Again, always looking for a good Bloody Mary. Ordered a couple, and when others who came in and saw them, it soon became the drink of the hour. Very good we agreed. We have set a bar (so to speak) of what has been our all-time favorite BM (down in San Diego) so everything is judged against those. Service, had to leave flys all over the food .Im pretty sure there was drug dealing going on and drunk people yelling deffinately not a place to bring kids.. We still had to pay for the drinks even though the bar tender didn't get them right. To bad bcuz I know the owners and they are obviously letting this place go down. We had drinks here for the first time, we go to the river a lot but usually just chill on the beach, but so glad we tried this very roomy fun place, pool table, arcade and great jukebox, strong drinks and food was deliciously cooked by Drake, the bartender was hella cool and can't recall his name, tall with beard. It has dive bar vibes but with plenty lighting Nd not so loud and I'm super into it. The service was great. The server was quick and informative. He had a full house and was running it all solo but managed the chaos very well. The food was wonderful. I had the chicken tender basket and highly recommend the ranch and bbq with it. Menu didn't show or at least I didn't see, had tater tots! My wife had the potato salad and can't stop talking about how good it is. We appreciate quick service by the staff and the chef, Jedediah (I hope that's your name; it was a long night for us!) We really enjoyed the beef stroganoff and fish and chips! The restaurant was understaffed and low on supplies, but the chef communicated with us about changes to dishes as best he could. Great option for either dining or drinking in town. Staff is fantastic - particularly the Thursday night bartender Jessica. Very friendly and makes a mean drink! The food and drinks are both very reasonably priced and the food is very good for American pub food - they have great daily specials that are freshly made and a lot of food for a reasonable price. Terrible atmosphere with the owners children/grandchildren running around being really obnoxious. Just know what you're walking into before you come. Rivertime is like a dive bar for families. And reviews said it was reasonably priced but pasta is $16... seems average for the area and overpriced for the "restaurant". On top of that, there were only about 4 customers in the place, including myself, and it took 30 minutes to get a single order of pasta. And it was not good at all. read more

To be completely honest, I know the owner, and most of the staff. The food is good, and the portions are definitely worth the money. The PBR from the tap is always ice cold, and the drinks are honest, in being they are not watered down. We live in S.F. and this is always our first stop as soon as we get off the road. read more
