This location was actually the first one I'd ever visited, but I never experienced the "fish out of water" feeling due to the wonderful hospitality of Erica (who I believe is the store manager). I check here first for my turn-up supplies before other places. They have a lot to offer, including a nice selection of cigars. Not sure how long they'll be in stock given legislation changes that are going on currently, but I was completely blown away by and highly recommend their THC/CBD beverage selection. They even have plenty of options with low or zero added sugars.... YES! The service is typically standard. Some employees do go above and beyond to help you but others tend to meander in their own worlds and duties. However, I've never left this store disgruntled. Had to dock one star though because parking is HORRIFIC depending on the conditions. This plaza gets extremely congested around 5PM-6PM and stays that way for a while. You will be fighting for your life for parking with the gym-goers next door. read more

Here it's $14 That means I can get double the Ukrainian liquid gold AND it's a shorter Marta ride I wish I knew about this place sooner. I went to purchase cigars. the cashier said I needed my ID I said I left it in my luggage and I can get someone to take a pic and send it too me. I do have other ID on me without a photo to verify it's me. She said let me ask the manager. She comes over and say no it has to be the physical ID. I really liked this store and the first few times I was in, I had a good experience. Then two visits ago, as a 67 yr. old man, I need to use the restroom. Found it and took a pee. As I was coming out of the restroom, one of the managers is literally running into the restroom after me to see what I was doing. I know this as he nearly tripped and broke his neck trying to stop himself running toward the restroom door. I picked up my 4-pak of Sam Smith Chocolate Stout and as I was headed to the checkout, I walked a gauntlet of several more store employees all walking past me like little ducks in a row, all sneering at me. I am not a paranoid person. I have been working a lot of years and that includes retail. I know when I am being watched, in this case, all for using the public bathroom. Y'all should have seen the expressions of these folks' face. Today, I got in line behind a gentleman buying at least ten bottles of wine. He needed to go back out to his car before paying, so he said to the cashier to check me out while the cashier was waiting for him to come back from his car. Instead of checking me out with my one item of a 4-pak of Sam Smith Chocolate Stout, he ignores me and announces that he has to find a box for the guy with the wine. So, he lets me stand there while he is farting around with various empty boxes, ignoring me. It would have taken him 1 minute to check me out first but no. So, I put my beer back and left. They sell it at Tower for $1 more but at least at Tower, I am consistently well treated. This is customer service? WTF? read more

I know, I know, I DON'T drink, but I know someone who does and loves this place, so I stopped in to grab a gift card for a favor they did. Having never come here before, when I walked in, "wow" escaped my lips because man, this is a grocery store for wine. No, seriously, imagine just your typical Whole foods but just with wine, and a few other items yes, but mainly wine. I casually walked around the store, and their selection is legendary. Aisles and aisles, including an international aisle with other forms of alcohol at your disposal. Customer service here was very friendly and helpful, and there was always activity in the store, with staff restocking sections all over the place as you walk. Well run store! Parking for Wine or more is pretty easy to get since they share space with Steinmart and other stores in this small strip. There's a few exits onto peachtree, as well as at least one red light exit, so getting in and out should be pretty easy. Total Wine & More is a chain, so if you can't get out to this location, there are a few other places in Georgia (and of course outside of Georgia) where you can stop in. I walked away thoroughly impressed with how this store is ran and if I did drink, this place might be a bit of trouble for me but in a good way! the manager here is a complete and total a** hole. The store leaves wine bottles out on the table with Dixie cups to sample and the manager gets an attitude when I get a sample and takes the cup away from me. He then tells me that it's illegal and he has to check my ID. that's fine, but why would you leave the table unattended with absolutely no sign if you didn't want people to take a sample? I counted no less than 10 associates in the store and no one can attend the table with the open bottles of wine?? interesting....I have pictures of corporate would like to see, but you're breaking the law and setting yourself up for more trouble doing things like this. read more

This was the worst experience I have had in all the Total Wine Locations in the nation. Last Saturday was my friend's B-day, a friend I happen to meet through Yelp. He lives close to this location, so I was trying to purchase a nice bottle of wine for him to pick up. My first option was Duckhorn Merlot Three Palms 2013, which they had listed on the website in stock when I called they said someone bought all the bottles a few days ago. My second choice was the Frank Family Winston Hill, I didn't know the year, so I called to find out the year. After waiting on the phone for 15 minutes, they weren't able to locate it. The manager, Mike told me that the computer showed 10 bottles but they couldn't locate them. So, this was at approximately 1:30 P.M., and I had told my friend to pass by at 2:00 P.M. to pick up the surprise... I went to the online site again and located a 2014 Shaffer One Point Five which is too young but if decanted for about an hour would turn out to be very good wine. I tried to pay with a gift card but the system indicated not to be accepting gift cards at the moment. So I figured I should try to call the manager again and maybe he could manually input the gift card for me. After another long 15 minutes on the phone, this man asked me for everything you can imagine, from routine questions such as the phone number, name, email and address to My PASSWORD! Are you kidding me? It seemed as if he was up to something suspicious, another 15 minutes passed by... I asked him to offer me some compensation for this nightmare and he stated: "it is illegal to discount alcohol in Georgia." According to a previous employee I spoke to, they can offer a discount if you purchase 10 bottles... So let me get this straight, they will give you a 10% discount. But, it is illegal to offer a discount on one bottle but OK if you are purchasing 10 or more???? My friend was waiting to pick up his wine while I was handling these issues...... My roommate and I were looking for the Game of Thrones beer set this year and found out Total Wine & More has it. We went there right away and got us 2 sets. We also got some seasonal beers which are great. I like the overall environment in the store. The aisle is quite wide so no worries of bumping into things. The collections are amazing too, we are no a big drinker but we wondered an hour in the store just being amaze by all the options. The staffs are nice too. I think by knowing this place we would be more into learning tasting wine or stuffs. But one little thing is that the price here is slightly higher than usual. That's why I give it a 4 stars. Each time I've pointed it out and the cashier has always asked would you like me to get a manager. I've always said no it's no big deal, I just thought you should know. Selection: They have lots and lots of wine and occasionally will run some decent sales. Although you might look a bit foolish doing it, it does help to scan the wines with Vivino app and see the fair price that others have paid. It seems like they are always competitive price wise and when you find things on sale, it can be somewhat of a bargain. Service: There are always tons of folks ready to help you out while walking through the isles. If you need suggestions and so forth, there is always someone to help. Registers generally don't have a line either. Exit strategy: Yes, you do need one or you can easily end up walking out of here with a $300+ hole in your pocket and only a few bottles. Wine does add up in cost and although we all like a nice Barolo, know what you are getting for everyday consumption as opposed to special occasions and proportion out the purchase accordingly. Worst thing is to spend a ton of money and be running out of wine in a week because all the bottles were so expensive. But then again, who I to advise you how to stock the wine cellar? Worst customer service experience with a cashier. After a floor associate graciously assisted me with locating 2 wine selections, I picked up a few additional items and headed to check out. I walked back and forth between two check out lines (no customers in line/ with 2 or 3 cashiers watching) and finally I asked a cashier was she open. Her response was very cold and it appeared that she was annoyed that I asked (no greeting and no eye contact). She proceeded to ring up my items and whispered "Are you an awards member"? Totally pissed at this point because of the poor customer service I gave her my phone number so we can quickly get through this uncomfortable process. If it wasn't for the fact that I was purchasing the items for a gift I would have simply walked away without them. At the end, the cashier told me to have a great day but by then it was too late...I will never return to this store:-( read more

When Total Wine opened I was pumped because I am a total wino. They have been open for a while now and I can honestly say that even though the faces have changed as far as staff, everyone is super friendly and helpful when you are looking to try something different or can't find what you're looking for. When you're in a rush, you can always look around and find someone to help you find what you're looking for fast! And if for some reason they don't have it or they are out of stock, the staff is typically very knowledgeable and can help you pick out something similar. They also have a large selection of craft beer and this is usually where my friends and I pick up our creature comfort tropicalia. But let me be clear. Even though their prices are competitive for the labels they carry, I only come to Total Wine when I'm going to pick up a nice bottle for a party, celebration or gift.
