I can definitely see me vibing with some friends here. I ordered the Philly eggroll and it was good!!! All the flavors paired well with each other, the only downside to this was it was a little greasy. The other foods the serve sound amazing and I can tell by the menu that they serve a lot of rich food, this is probably not the best place to go if you're looking to eat healthy ijs. My wife and I have tried this restaurant three different times over the years because we genuinely want to support minority-owned businesses in our community. The first visit was very loud and the food was slightly below average, but we gave grace since they were new at the time. The second visit, we waited about 10 minutes and no one came to take our order, so we left and assumed it may have been a staffing issue. Today we decided to give it another try. We were seated almost immediately, which was great. However, after waiting about 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order, we left again. We were really looking forward to trying the Philly steak egg roll, lamb waffle, and chicken pot stickers, so that was disappointing. Stopped in on a whim to grab one drink & ended up staying for more. Our bartender, CoCo, was amazing & asked questions about our taste preferences to scale the drinks accordingly. Highly recommend the Blacker The Berry if you're looking for a sweeter drink that doesn't skimp in the strength department. My boyfriend ordered it first, I tried his, & it was so good I ordered it for my next round. Fantastic service, nice ambiance, friendly staff. A great start (or end!) to a night out. The Xperience kitchen and lounge need better business practices. I visited this restaurant for the first time and my experience was criminal. When my ticket came I had so many charges it was crazy we had two orders oxtails and two side carr drinks. The oxtails bunch price was 32 each but we was charged 40 then the drinks they charged for the ingredients outside the alcohol. Wait for second then gratuity charge for one or more . They charged a supplement charge. The drinks was 12 dollars each the ticket should have been around 85-90 dollars they charged 150 dollars with all the extra charges so when visiting this restaurant make sure you check your ticket closely this is what they call highway robbery at it's best. read more

The service at the Xperience is less than desirable. They require you email for reservations if your party is larger than 8. However, they do not reply to emails and do not answer the phone. Once I walked in to ask about the reservation the person who stated she is responsible for reservations was rude and dismissive. She never apologized for not responding. I was really excited to try The Xperience when I first saw the posts pop up on Facebook. I grew up in Little Rock but live in Houston now. I was happy to see more options for my hometown. However, my excitement was tempered by the food and drinks. We arrived and were greeted with complimentary sparkling moscato. Nice touch. Sat down promptly at a high top table for 4 and a waitress came and took our drink orders. I ordered a Call an Uber ($18) but when I got it, I wanted to call the cops. It tasted watered down and not full bodied for a drink with d'usse and casamigos. It was like they had batched this beverage and it was not made fresh. My friend ordered a mule but asked them to customize with Tito's vodka. The drink tasted terrible and she didn't drink it. They refused to take it off my bill. The food was just as disappointing. We ordered the fried salmon bites and fried okra to start. Breading on the salmon was extremely heavy and the fried okra were cold. We wanted to try the sides, so we ordered the yams, greens, and Mac n cheese. Yams and greens were canned. Ordered the crab cakes, they came out cold. We sent them back and they came back lukewarm. I found everything to be lacking seasoning and severely overpriced. When the management noticed we were not eating our food, they came over and we discussed our meal. At one point, I felt like I was being harassed because he was so insistent everything was great. The chef came over at one point and talked to my friend who is familiar with the food industry. He admitted the food was canned as they did not have a lot of kitchen capacity. I excused myself to use the restroom and they were frying fish in the hallway. At that point, I was ready to go. I was even more disappointed they refused to remove the drink that was not consumed. They charge an automatic 18% gratuity but I saw the waitress maybe 4 times. We asked the person who brought us our food to bring us water. The grass walls and neon signs are nice but this restaurant has a long way to go to live up to its name. My boyfriend & I went on a date to this place that I've been wanting to try. I absolutely loved how the place was decorated & the music was amazing as well. We had reservations at 7:30pm. Our table was ready as we arrived about 5 mins early. Upon entering we were greeted & offered complementary champagne. The food did take a while but it was definitely worth the wait. The food is amazing! The music could keep you at the bar for hours. I went for Sunday Brunch which had an upbeat R&B vibe making everyone dance and sing along. Gratuity is included no matter how many are in your party which is probably why service was a little slow but the atmosphere and food made it worth the wait. After being seated, our food came in less than 45 minutes and the restaurant was packed to capacity. The Hostess was very kind, understanding and accommodating. This was our first time eating at this establishment and we were treated with love. Their Customer Service is top notch and the Owner, Attorney Forrest, Jr. made sure we were taken care of. This establishment is black owned and I am extremely proud of them for creating an ambiance for the culture. The price of our food was excellent! I paid for three people and my bill was less than $120.00. Honestly, I pay that for one person at other fine dining establishments in the Little Rock area so why not spend this amount for three people? It was worth every dollar. It's really overhyped in my opinion. Big parties aren't easily accommodated & you're only able to split the check in 2. There was easily 12 in our party but we weren't informed about this until asking to split the bill. There's also an automatic 30% gratuity added to the bill so it doesn't make the servers work for it, especially when they already know their tip is coming. Food was mediocre, I sent mine back. Everything is A la cart just fyi, so pork chops for 3 pieces was $19 & each side was $5. I don't eat meat so I simply ordered sides. Just Mac & cheese with fries. They put my food on someone's plate in the group but never offered to bring me my own plate. I sent it back due to the fries being cold & the Mac being mush. From my understanding the pork chops were dry... all of them & several people ordered them. They did rave about the cornbread however, which is also $5 for 2 pieces. Waitress was busy so she rarely came to check on us. They did have a live DJ which was nice. It was a great mix & not too loud. Considering it was mid day there was a nice crowd but not overly bad. Is there something less than zero stars? I have to give a rating so one star it is! I was excited to try this new restaurant and my family made a reservation for my nephew's birthday. The day before our reservation, we received a notice about a dress code. I thought that was weird but no biggie. We arrive at the restaurant to find the STAFF dressed in many of the items that were forbidden for patrons. My husband was told to remove his plain black ball cap, but multiple servers were wearing ball caps. The dress code said some ball caps were permitted, but when we arrived the server said no caps at all. Also weird but, whatever. We were seated and our server was polite. We didn't have enough seats at our table for our party (there were 11 people in our group). We requested an additional chair and the server said she'd check and see if this was allowed. She came back and said it was not. We asked to speak with the manager. He told us that the additional person in our party would have to stand. We said that was ridiculous and we were told it was that or leave and forfeit the $25 reservation deposit. We chose to leave.
