Our driver, John, was revealing identities and residence locations of other clients within the company as though it were casual conversation on the drive. We were uncomfortable hearing private information including locations of other clients and tried to redirect the conversation. John repeatedly cut us off while talking, multiple times, to continue discussing details about other clients of the company. He also told us we caught him on a good day and that was why he was carrying our luggage out of the vehicle and off the curb. John was casually disrespectful by interrupting our private conversation as well only to discuss what was interesting to him, and even when we responded, he ignored us and continued talking in a manner than seemed only to amuse himself. A quiet and professional drive is what we had hoped for. SO Cal Limo never showed up, even though I called two days before to confirm the reservation, which I found they had messed up too. Based on my experience I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT using this company. Getting ready to go on a long distance trip is stressful enough without having to worry about whether your ride to the airport is going to show up. The long version goes something like this: I saw the Spreebird (formerly LivingSocial) deal, and thought it would be a great way to get my family to the airport for a trip I had planned for my wife (and kids) for our anniversary. I called them to make sure they had an opening for the date of our trip, and they assured me that they had plenty of limos and that date was wide open. I bought the Spreebird deal and tried to call them to make the reservation. The person told me that, even though I was speaking to them on the phone, I had to go online to make the reservation though their online system. I made the reservation online (jumped though the hoops) and received an email confirmation. Two days before the pickup date I called them to confirm the pickup. The "representative" told me that they didnt have anything under my name. I checked the confirmation again and found that the date they had scheduled us for was for 2001, rather than 2011. I figured it was an honest mistake, maybe even made by me when I did the reservation. It was clarified over the phone and the representative told me that we would be picked up in two days. Two days later our luggage was packed and waiting, but the limo never showed up. I thought they were just a couple minutes late, but when I tried to call them the number went to voicemail. I left a voicemail, but when I tried to call again I found that the number just disconnected. I looked online and found another number, but going through their voicemail tree landed me in various voicemails. We were now 30 minutes late from our original pickup time. I stuffed all of my luggage (5 suitcases and carry on) into our car and drove the 50 miles to the airport. As we left in our car I called them one more time, and this time got through to someone. He told me he would have to check the schedule with his dispatch and then call me back. Surprisingly we received a call back by someone who apologized saying that they missed their pickup. He said he would try to make it up to us, but I wouldnt try to use this company again, ever!!! Once we got to LAX we found a place to park and made it to the airport in the nick of time, luckily the parking lot company shuttle was more reliable than SOCALLIMO. I again repeat my recommendation.
