The staff is really friendly, and they are always helpful whenever we need them. I cannot say the same for dolben though, l don't find the company professional. They make false advertisement on their website; we don't have a rooftop, our courtyard is under construction since a while. The gym equipment is new and nice but was ready a few months later than we moved. Overall, the apartments are better in looks than they are in quality. To compare prices, the apartments are slightly bigger than the ones in Union Wharf (we have seen 1bedrooms) but the facilities are poorer. Also, they were open before things were ready (back garage door didn't have a lock for a few months (on our first week l got my brand new bike's seat stolen, recently they broke into some peoples cars etc.), our trash chute is broken since we moved and we are paying $25 monthly for trash, some courtyard flats were flooded after heavy rain ect.). Not to forget, parking isn't included.

When transferring from my old UDR property Rodgers Forge made it almost impossible to do so. They never answered any emails or returned any phone calls. They would only reach out to my husband & never me. They charged us a $175 application we weren't suppose to pay because it's a courtesy if you transfer between UDR's. When I mentioned it they made me feel stupid & said we were suppose to pay it. The 3D tours & photos online look a million times better than the actual apartments. Appliances are very outdated. You will get not only get a white refrigerator but a white dishwasher & microwave to match. The bright side is it's a nice shade of yellow from the God only knows how many tenants before me. Also I can't get this apartment clean for the life of me. Every time I mop the water & mop head is black. EVERY SINGLE TIME. There was some damage to the apartment when we moved in. We brought it up to the office almost 4 weeks ago. The maintenance man just came this week to fix the issues. You will have mice & Silverfish roommates that don't pay rent. The mice literally are in your walls scratching. Also the parking situation here is a nightmare if you have more than one car. Only one car gets a tag to park in the parking lot because there isn't enough spots. On street parking is a nightmare after 6pm. You will literally have to park 2 or 3 streets over.

The apartment itself was everything we dreamed off, wall to wall carpet, wooden floors in some areas, marble countertops, stainless steel appliancea, garden tubs, lights everywhere in the house. This place took our breathe away. You can tell management put their time into getting this place together. Their maintenance comes out before 24 hrs if you have an emergency, there is front door trash pickup 2x a week. We were soo happy we applied the same day and signed our lease within a week. We have kids and it was very important for us to feel at home before going anywhere so they definetely met our expectations. I am someone who is very particular abt everywhere we go. I check reviews and give honest feedback to help others do the same for theirs. The day we moved in, omgg... they had treats and notes all over the apartment for us, snack treats in the fridge, papertowel, soap and a sponge with a note by the kitchen sink, samples in the bathroom, a duckie and a towel near the shower in the master, even a sample laundry detergent in the laundry room. This place is georgeous, the only thing i didnt like was i didnt have a balcony, but the fact that we had everything else we could possible have , made it worth over looking to me. So far this was a great decision. We moved in and are excited about our stay here. She is a great manager and I hope she stays there for awhile. Chelsea reset the rules and made sure the building was secure. I would recommend anyone who needs a short term place to live in Towson. 6/23: I have lived in the Winthrop since three months opened. I have watched the building grow from not having anybody here to fully filled. I do love this building, but we have had a few issues. Management is always responsive and kind, but the problem is, there's not enough staff. They promised when they opened that they would get a doorman 24/7. They have not. There is a desk that is not used. Things get hectic on the weekends. I've seen children unsupervised in the common areas - which is NOT allowed (and written in the lease contract). Three children were downstairs one night at 11:30 pm. They were around the age of 8 and two boys were throwing rocks in the fountain. I was seriously afraid they'd break it. I told the leasing office, but they are not here after hours do not much they can do. People prop the front door open and I swear half the people using the amenities aren't living here. They say there's a security guard, but I really don't understand this. There are a lot of noise complaints here, but I won't say anything bad about that. Walls are soundproof. We live on the side of Dulaney. It is loud, but Winthrop walls actually help that! I do love our apartment size. I feel realitively safe here. There has been times though that a homeless guy came to sleep in the lobby. He said he was looking for a place. He wasn't. I was down there the entire time he was there - slept, used the restroom and walked out. That's probably the worst I've seen, but the leasing office was open at the time so I think they would've kicked him out if anything went wrong (safety reasons). I love the amenities but as my husband calls it, there are tragedy of the commons. People leave trash in the halls on the weekends. I'm afraid of bugs/rodents coming. We did have an ant issue but it was resolved. The good thing is in the common areas, they clean it every day. The cleaning staff is friendly too and they always say hi. We have had a few appliances break. We contacted the leasing office and they were replaced the next business day (although I did freak out when we almost had a flood from our washer breaking in the middle of the night but my husband dealt with the water). It's expensive here, but you get what you pay for - you pay for the area. You won't find a place much cheaper and I do love the staff here. Even when staff is replaced, they're always nice. I just wish they hired more staff (i.e. Doorman/security staff). I would recommend this building, but not long term. Maybe for a year or two until you plan on buying a house (which we will be buying when we move out). It's a lovely area and close to shopping! I can walk to work which is why we moved here. If you're looking for short time convenience, it's a great community!

The registration, check-in, and monthly payments were all automated and easy to use and navigate. The space was cosy but roomy enough for two of us, and the place was fully furnished with an outfitted kitchen so we could easily cook any meal if we wanted to. I recommend Mt Vernon Flats for anyone needing a furnished place for a week or months.
