Food is average. Service wasn't great either. I don't recommend eating here unless you have another option.

We started with the Bavarian pretzel, which was served with beer cheese and mustard. It was delicious and fresh! I then had the southwestern burger, which is always a favorite of mine because of the green chilis. The burgers are always cooked nicely (I order medium) and I was able to substitute a side salad, which was easily one of the best side salads I've ever had at a brewery. We are doing dry January, so no beers this time, but had a lovely hop water that they brew there and even left with a growler full. Highly recommend Steamworks for an authentic Durango experience or if you're just trying to catch a game or hangout with friends. It definitely has fun, local brewery vibes. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for us because we were able to easily walk there from our hotel. We were lucky enough to get outdoor seating, which made the experience even better. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Durango weather, and people watch while having dinner. We decided to do a beer flight so we could sample a variety of their beers before committing to a full pint. It was a great way to try different styles, and we each ended up finding a favorite. Everything we tried was really good. My husband liked their Buffalo wings and whiskey burger, I enjoyed the seared tuna bowl, and our kids liked their pizza. It is definitely a busy and popular spot, especially during peak vacation times, so I would recommend putting your name in early and expecting there could be a wait. In our opinion it was worth it. Steamworks had a great casual vibe that worked well for both families and adults wanting to enjoy a brewery experience. The downtown location adds to the charm, and it definitely felt like one of those must visit spots while in Durango.

The steak was incredibly flavorful and practically melted in my mouth. What stood out most was how well everything complemented each other, the seafood, pasta, and steak created a perfectly balanced dish. My husband ordered the Ahi, and it was equally delicious, fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. We started with the calamari and were pleasantly surprised when it came with homemade fettuccine. It was honestly some of the best calamari we've had in a long time, perfectly cooked and beautifully paired. Overall, this is a great choice if you're looking for an upscale dining experience with thoughtfully prepared dishes. Definitely recommend.

We were seated on the patio and it took quite a while for our server to greet us. Once she did, she brought water and took our drink order. She returned with our drinks and said she would be back to take our food order. We had plenty to talk about while waiting, but she repeatedly walked past our table to attend to other tables without stopping. Eventually, I had to stop her and let her know we were ready to order. My wife and our friend's wife both ordered a pasta dish with sliced steak and spinach. My friend had a salad with salmon and a bowl of soup, and I ordered the filet with potato lasagna and spinach. As the evening went on, it became breezy and chilly. I asked another server if the patio heater could be turned on, and someone came over right away to help, which we appreciated. When our meals arrived, everything looked excellent and tasted very good. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, our server only stopped by our table once during the entire meal to check on us and it was lien she was in a rush to leave to table. We spent a long time waiting to see if she would ask whether we needed anything or if we were finished. It wasn't as though she had to go out of her way to reach us--she walked past our table numerous times while serving her other tables. Because of the lack of attention, I once again had to get her attention to let her know we were finished and ask for a dessert menu. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate dessert to go after she highly recommended it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the description once I had a chance to eat it. The chocolate flavor was very mild, and the crunchy layer on the bottom was not particularly enjoyable nothing like a Dubai Chocolate. Overall, the food was excellent and deserving of praise. However, for a fine dining restaurant where both the food and drinks come at premium prices, the service fell well short of expectations. Great meals can make for a memorable evening, but attentive service is an important part of the fine dining experience, and unfortunately that was missing during our visit.

The food is good but way overpriced this time I got spaghetti and meatballs and I believe it was $37 or something like that for spaghetti and meatballs! I've had their ribeye before which isn't too overpriced. I think it's around $50 something ,I don't know, but it was really good. The service was lacking pretty bad this time before it's been just OK. This time it was bad. They didn't have enough people working as far as I could tell. They had one person work in the bar one person serving all the people in the restaurant and one Cook . Our waiter decided he wanted to talk to the people beside us for about 10 minutes as we sat and waited to give our order to him. Then, after we gave his order, we saw him floating around the other tables and talking to people he knew and forgot to bring our drinks to us until I asked him. Then he acted like it was my fault, but he did bring us our drinks and comped one. So needless to say, I don't think I'll ever go back to this restaurant. The spaghetti and meatballs were...just ok.

As soon as we walked in, the hostess greeted us and sat us, no reservation required. The restaurant itself is smaller and has a bar area/counter next to the dinner tables. Our server Maddie was great, had great suggestions, and was attentive. Bread service could've been warm, also never received the butter with it. I don't normally go with the "Chef's Special" because I always feel like it means "the seafood is about to go and we have to sell it" lol I couldnt resist the Frutti di Mare Cannelloni. I paired this with an Old Fashioned and the Brussels Sprouts Pancetta. We also tried the Carbonara. All the dishes were amazing. I was not disappointed with the cannelloni, wonderful seafood taste medley, not "fishy". The Brussel Sprouts were a hit, my partner normally hates Brussel Sprouts but he enjoyed these. The carbonara was perfect! Honestly loved all the dishes tonight. Might come back Sunday to try something else off the menu--pictures of the veal Marsala looked amazing.
