The food here is good, but I ordered a sandwich online to go. The website said the meatball sandwich was $11.99. When I arrived, I was charged $16.99. I was told the website wasn't updated. They didn't even offer an adjustment due to the outdated information on the website. I looked at another website, same company, and that website says $15 for a meatball sandwich. So what is it?! Very confusing to show up and get told a higher price. Please update your website or get rid of the old one. Nobody wants to show up and get shocked for a higher price. read more

Pizza was excellent, wings were awesome, but for me the star of the show were the garlic knots. Having said that, my personal take is that they should be renamed to GARLIC knots. Absolutely righteous! I usually dont take food back to where I am staying when travelling, but I took these. When my wife took them out of the cooler around four corners, i gotta admit, I was a little hesitant.. cold garlic knots? Pleasantly surprised at this place. The pizza had a good, thin NY style crust. Sauce was good. I would've liked more cheese, especially near the crust edges. Lots of pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza. Veggies on the other were tossed on and not evenly distributed. Not a big deal, but one slice has a ton of peppers and then another has none. Salads and meatballs were good. GF meatballs sub was a few meatballs on a (small!) hamburger bun. Left me wondering what the regular sub size is and if I got shorted by having to have GF. Overall, good experience for takeout. $94 for 2 lg pizzas, gf meatball gf sandwich, caprese salad and house salad. read more

I ordered a pizza to go and it was very good. I was quite surprised actually. Inside the place looks a lot of fun with a good vibe. Pinball machines to play and the room in back is a bar for adults. I don't know about the other food but I would definitely get the pizza again. read more

Just tried this place for takeout and we will be back! Pros: decent ribs (could use less sauce but otherwise pretty good). Potato skins are great to share. Pulled pork sandwich is solid. Takeout service was prompt and friendly and they get the order completely correct. Also - fabulous options for gluten free and vegetarian (all of which are marked on menu). Cons: parking lot is rough - bring your patience. Chicken strips were good but not great. We haven't tried the pizza or wings, so that's next up! read more

The bar and the restaurant are separate here, and the restaurant is self order. But you can sit in the bar, have a drink or two, and the bartender will take your order which will be delivered to you in the bar. On our last visit, we took advantage of this service and ordered pizza by the slice, at about $5/per slice. And the slices were huge, and one is all I could eat!. The pizza slices are one of the best food buys in Durango. And the drink prices there are lower than mot other local watering holes. For a casual restaurant/bar experience, I recommend. read more

While visiting Durango we came across this pizza spot. Being from Brooklyn NY I have realized there will never be pizza like the one back home. However today I had a different taste I tried not to compare and was happy and satisfied with this place. I read reviews prior to eating here but most negative reviews were due to the customer experience and customer service. The venue was not clean but I came for the food . So I will not comment on the unattended dirty tables. My wife had to clean ours because she asked for someone to clean it and was given a wet rag. read more

This place rocks!! We telephoned a large family order for our last night in Colorado and we were so pleasantly surprised! The pizza is yummy and everyone in our house had a special request order, I.e: ribs no sauce, wings (extra crispy), wings baked with sauce on the side and they accommodated every request with no mistake! I'm sure this restaurant is awesome for dine-in because they are STOCKED with pinball machines and t.v's and the bar is fully stocked with all the microbrews and cocktails, it's divey but family friendly. The customer service isn't exceptional but they're working hard and saying 'yes' which impresses me just as much of net better, the sauces were all delicious and we were all happy campers (literally!!) read more

This was a great place! We had a group of 6 come in right after the polar express. Parking is limited in the parking lot and a bit tough to maneuver in but there is parking in the street. Once we got in my son and I were automatically drawn to the pinball games. Seating is nice and comfortable and the large TV's were the perfect place to catch the game. It is a seat yourself area with ordering at a counter. We ordered a large cheese pizza, 12 regular buffalo and 12 honey chipotle wings. It took about 15-20 minutes to get our food. The pizza came out hot with a nice charred undercarriage, quality cheese and very good sauce. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The wings stole the show. As you can see my picky 15 yo daughter said those were the best wings she ever had. She ate 9 of the 12. They were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The garlic knots were excellent as well. My other daughter had the greek slice and loved it. You can really tell the cooks take pride in their work and every thing we ate was of high quality. I highly recommend this place for anyone that loves a good bar pie and wings. read more

Our son took us here to watch football games on a Sunday morning. Jess, our bartender was very friendly and attentive. Food was good. My son had the chicken fried steak. Really good pizza and delicious garlic knots. This is definitely a locals place. It's closer to the college than to the tourist areas. So you get a more local feel. Being a more local place the prices were better than at the tourist places. We had a good meal and a good time. read more

Stopped in here on a daddy and daughter date, with another friend and his little girl. We ordered a small cheese pizza and a large green chili and pepperoni pizza. Both were fantastic, large slices, hearty amount of toppings, perfectly cooked crust (hand thrown right then). The place has a couple of pinball machines and other games. They also had a few local beers on tap. Menu was a little dark and hard to read, up on the wall above the kitchen. Only giving four stars because there were no servers/employees that came to greet us, or let us know if we could sit wherever we liked, or to tell us anything about the menu, etc. (it was not busy then either). Parking is also very limited. Other than that, it's a great small local feeling place. Will come again. Cheers! read more

The worst service I've had in Durango. Pizza came 20 minutes before our extremely over cooked ribs and never got the wings we ordered. When we asked about the wings the cooks in the back gave attitude and never even apologized. Don't waste your time or money at this garbage restaurant. read more

Loved J Bo's. We were in from TX and looking for a place to watch the cowboy game. They were so accommodating and even turned the sound on for us. Fantastic meal! We had a Greek salad(one of the best that I have had) and the JBO's combo pizza, fresh ingredients, the sausage was delicious and the crust perfect. My brother lives here in Durango and always suggests eating here so we gave it a chance, wait no, we gave it 3 chances. On our first visit, I was a little disappointed with the time we spent waiting for our pizza. Other than that the food was pretty good. The second time, the wait was shorter but unfortunately our pizza was undercooked. Still great atmosphere. Finally, on our third visit I decided to try the barbecue, only to find it came with a side of human hair. In conclusion, my brother still stands by their name and so do locals, I suppose I've gone on off days. Which sucks because they serve my favorite food, pizza & barbecue. What a waste of money. During this time of Covid many restaurants have to resort to take out or delivery options. Since this has become the norm here, many kitchens drop the ball on quality control just to get old food out the door. My experience with this restaurant last night was nothing short of whatever they could cobble together from last weeks food scraps in the pantry and refrigerator and call it a meal. I ordered a Cuban with fries and received some of the oldest food that had been sitting around all day in their kitchen, or had been reconstituted to keep their food costs down. I couldn't finish the crap. This place obviously doesn't care about quality control anymore and they will no longer get my business. I can't believe I paid premium price for the worst hodgepodge pile of messy kitchen scraps of food that they called it a sandwich with fries. You're going to sink, Jbo's if you keep this up. You need all the help you can get to tread water during these yough times. read more

Terrible service! I ordered wings and they made them BBQ instead of Buffalo. They apologized and took them back. Brought my wings back, had rinsed the bbq off and recovered them in Buffalo sauce. I called manager "Miles" and he said sorry, I usually can get all the sauce off and recook them! This is not proper food handling, and someone will get sick. Not acceptable at all!!!!
