    Chicken taquito - inedible
    DT B.

For the positive - service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food left sooo much to be desired. The taquitos - well I'll let the picture speak for itself - that's chicken you see. The cheese enchiladas were dry as a bone. My kids wouldn't eat them. Red and green sauces on the burrito were so bizarre - inedible to me, but my husband was starving. For $60 to feed a family of 4, we wouldn't recommend it (to be fair, we had come in to this little building for the grilled wraps just across the way but it was a 40 minute wait. Next time, we would gladly wait for a good meal). Sorry to say, this one didn't pass the test.

Dont let the restaurant tucked in the back of Main Mall fool you. Food was excellent. Service was spot on. Dont let this one get away. It definitely worth a try.

Service was rude would not recommended !!! They have bad hearing they will get your order wrong

I just love finding hidden little gems and Los Amigos definitely was! Shopping the mall, tucked back in the corner, we spotted the sign for happy hour margaritas and stopped in for some drinks and an appetizer. We had the house margaritas - which were BIG - and the queso Oaxaca with chorizo. The queso was simply just cheese and chorizo, warm and gooey. The margaritas were good and generous but the absolute best was the michelada - it's rare to find and usually just beer, tomato juice and lime but this one had a little something extra, it was the best I've had and of course, BIG! I'm sorry we didn't get to try more food but I'll definitely be back.

Walking into this cute little restaurant, we did not expect the amazing service and tasty food. Both elements surpassed our expectations. I would recommend the steak fajitas! Not only did it look (and sound) apatizing, but it was incredible and very delicious. Our server, Dina, was the sweetest and checked in multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. She was very attentive and couldn't have been better. Additionally, they had a very delightful selection of spirits and sodas, perfect for you or your kiddos. Overall, this restaurant was an enjoyable and festive evening and a great end to our busy day at Mesa Verde (be sure to check out Mesa Verde if you are ever passing through Durango). I highly recommend it!

Molcajete De Carne for 2 - omg this was amazing

We just moved to Durango and was told this was the best mexican in town. Wow were they right. The portions are huge. We had the queso appetizer and it was for 4 to 5 people, but soooo good. We also ordered the Molcajete De Carne for 2. This was so good! It came out bubbling and the roasted jalapeños are fantastic. The prices are good and the staff are even better!

We ordered the shredded beef enchiladas and the meat was dry. Salsa was not good at all.

The Service at this Restaurant was great but the food was not! Lack of flavor and texture was just not there.

Don't order the carne asada. It was like beef jerky. The food was pretty bad overall, not sure how it has good reviews.

We started with the Bavarian pretzel, which was served with beer cheese and mustard. It was delicious and fresh! I then had the southwestern burger, which is always a favorite of mine because of the green chilis. The burgers are always cooked nicely (I order medium) and I was able to substitute a side salad, which was easily one of the best side salads I've ever had at a brewery. We are doing dry January, so no beers this time, but had a lovely hop water that they brew there and even left with a growler full. Highly recommend Steamworks for an authentic Durango experience or if you're just trying to catch a game or hangout with friends. It definitely has fun, local brewery vibes. We will definitely be back!

There are a lot of breweries to choose from in Durango, and during our family vacation we tried…read morequite a few of them. One of our favorites was Steamworks Brewery in downtown Durango. The location was perfect for us because we were able to easily walk there from our hotel. We were lucky enough to get outdoor seating, which made the experience even better. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Durango weather, and people watch while having dinner. We decided to do a beer flight so we could sample a variety of their beers before committing to a full pint. It was a great way to try different styles, and we each ended up finding a favorite. Everything we tried was really good. My husband liked their Buffalo wings and whiskey burger, I enjoyed the seared tuna bowl, and our kids liked their pizza. It is definitely a busy and popular spot, especially during peak vacation times, so I would recommend putting your name in early and expecting there could be a wait. In our opinion it was worth it. Steamworks had a great casual vibe that worked well for both families and adults wanting to enjoy a brewery experience. The downtown location adds to the charm, and it definitely felt like one of those must visit spots while in Durango.

The previous owner has retired and the new owner has not missed a beat and has taken the great spot to the next level. Awesome Rye Boulevardier and Hamachi Crudo at the bar night one - great service from Tony; Back at the bar the next night and had their amazing and tender Calamari, NY Strip, Truffled Potatoes and Sautéed Mushrooms + Onions. All top notch and the steak was perfectly cooked. Once again, great service, this time by Justin! What goes better with a steak than Pio Cesare Barolo (not on the list....yet!) Very nice atmosphere and vibe; elegant yet casual. Love it!

Apparently, due to the slower evenings earlier in the summer, they packed up early. Makes sense. Next night (Friday) we arrived around 6 PM, sans-RSVP, and were quickly seated in one of the front window tables. Started off with the tomato bisque soup with wood-fired crostini for dipping ($8). The flavor of the crostini from the wood was sooo good. Can I have a 1/2 lb bag of those to go? For my entree, I had the Chilean Sea Bass special ($60) which was topped with a creamy spinachesque sauce and featured sides of carrots-squash medley and what I can only describe as a fancy potatoes au gratin with two more crostinis to lap up the delicousness. Drink: Pint of Pilsner Urquell ($7). Shout out to our server *Roxy* who is a rock star in dealing with the rare scumbag of Durango who purposely blew a massive cloud of vape smoke at a couple dining outside while she was checking on them, only to come back and spit on her when she told Señor Asshat to knock it off. Way to go, Roxy! Monster meal, unexpected entertainment. Massive hit: Seasons of Durango!
