It It was a beautifully taught class that was peaceful and balanced. It incorporated breath with movement and encouraged a quiet mind. The teacher Ricarda was kind and gentle and a great instructor. The teachers here are knowledgable of anatomy and are always growing and learning. The classes get better every time I go. They are also well versed in theory and spiritually inclined. Was condescending and told me how new her type of practice would be new (despite being a long time yogi and attending acupuncture - the meridian flow was initially of interest but she did not ask just made assumptions). Too many cues for her subjective versions of Standard asana, and yet was condescending and corrective as if there on right way to do yoga. Very clear that she has her following and calling out people as if they are doing things "wrong" because they don't put their palms up, down, or sideways is the antithesis of yoga. Her over cued practice was distracting - long warm up with minimal sequence for a flow not dynamic. As a practitioner of over 20 years, I've taken classes with amazing, knowledgeable teachers and have learned to trust myself. l, and recovering from injury while trying to find grounding is what I need and did not find this a safe space to practice. Would not recommend. She definitely thinks she's better than she is But

This gym has really gone downhill. My main concerns are the outdated and poorly maintained…read moreequipment. The stairmasters have been out of order and bounce back in resistance while you're using them, which throws off your balance and makes them unsafe/unusable. We only have two stairmasters to begin with, and both have been down--more working ones are badly needed. The spin class seats are rock-hard and leave you bruised the next day. The water fountains and pretty much everything else feel outdated. Instead of fixing the machines, they prioritized painting the locker room walls--paint that chipped almost right away--then kept painting other areas while equipment sat broken. They recently started re-padding the leather on some machines, but the job looks terrible: full of wrinkles, mismatched colors (old maroon on some machines, black on others), and cheap-looking backboards. Nothing about the upgrades feels done well. On top of all that, they raised the rates when nothing has actually improved. Wall paint should not be the priority when the machines need real upgrades, especially if prices are going up. So many things need attention here, and right now it just doesn't feel worth the increase.

Taura is the only one who makes a big stink out of that, and even though I come out without arguing, she still told on me and had her supervisor come in to scold me. The event was great. The staff was informative and attentive, especially knowing it was my first time. I was welcomed with some hot tea. Restrooms were clean. Gift shop has a lot of cool holistic stuff, like stones, salt (duh!), candles, teas, etc. I plan on coming back. I left feeling so refreshed!
