I also really love the pose variation and the sometimes more stretchy liquidy feel of the flows. Mara is without a doubt the best instructor I've gotten to practice with; her cues are so clear and make you engage muscles/soften things you didn't even notice, and her guidance is so gentle and suggestive that it isn't as "now this now this now this" as sometimes classes can feel. I look forward to her class all week I almost feel myself chilllllll out as I walk in on Sundays. Another really important thing for me is that NP Rock is most welcoming, non-elitist, accepting yoga community and it's so purposeful that it makes me want to contribute to the feeling, too. The no judgement really allows me to just show up and focus on myself and my own practice. The energy of this place is so genuine and special and I can't recommend it enough. I enjoyed all the ones I tried and found every teacher at Rainbow Yoga to be warmly welcoming, accommodating, and clear in their instructions. For those looking to deeply relax their body or who have limiting injuries, I highly recommend Marina's Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) and Marianne's Candlelight Restorative Yoga. Marina brings years of expertise in empowering the body to heal through the gentlest of realignment positions and movement. The class offers an enlightening paradigm shift to less being more. Marianne's presence is pure calm nurture as she gently guides you through a candlelit unwinding process anyone can do. Alice Neiler brings an eclectic power basket of tools to her QiGong class that centers, calms, and strengthens with movements that I, in my limited range of motion, could easily do. I always left her class feeling my best self, a better self than the one that started. For those who can cope with floor poses, Toni's chakra classes are wonderful for reinhabiting the body fully and feeling empowered through alignment of the energy centers. She brings a lush, womanly, spiritual energy to her soothing instruction. Susan von Reusner brings the insight of mindfulness to working with the body, the mind, and breath, informed by her own background in sports and experience with injury, creating an accommodating dialogue of respect and gentleness. Her instructions are clear and intelligent. It was a pleasure to try these classes and to meet these lovely teachers. I recommend them all.

ZoMo Yoga is the greatest thing that came to the area. I first went to a workshop before classes…read moreofficially started. It kicked my butt. I could barely move.. I didn't want to come back.... It opened at the perfect time as I was in between yoga studios trying to find one to call my home. I decided to try the new student introductory offer. I figured it would get me to come back more than once. It worked, even though it kicked my butt. I came almost every day this past month. Sometimes two or three classes a day. I fell in love with yoga and the trapeze! The trapeze is so much more accessible than mat yoga, being able to go into deeper inversions and building more strength faster. Within days I've been noticing huge changes in my body that I was never able to achieve with a gym membership. Gravity yoga is all about trusting the trapeze and in doing so, you begin trusting you're own body. Since starting I have more confidence and trust in my body as I've ever had before from any yoga class. I've found a passion. I'm so happy I came back as I've found my home here at ZoMo. The community is great! Zosha is the best! I can't wait to see what the future has in store! My advice: stick with it. You'll see the full mental and physical transformation yourselves!

This review is for Lori Mora…read more I was apprehensive to join any type of exercise program. I'm not a Lululemon kind of woman but when checking out pilates studios, all I met were Lulubabes. They ALl approached pilates the same as if robots. This is not as Lori. She is personal, kind and respectful. She is authentically encouraging. She never makes me feel small or stupid. She is all in hands on. Millbrook is so blessed to have Lori.
