It's also self-serve for both the yogurt and toppings, which makes it fun and easy to customize exactly what you want. The yogurt itself is really good. I got the vanilla custard and peanut butter, and both were super creamy and delicious. It's one of those places that feels a little dangerous because I can already tell I'm going to want to come back often! This is my favorite froyo spot in LA. The kind man working at the register has given me the inspiration to learn sign language, because even though our communication is hindered, he still makes an effort to provide great service and make the customers always feel welcomed! He's such a sweetheart. The flavor options are always amazing. I truly do enjoy their weekly favorites (petition to make Cookie Monster a permanent!) The toppings options? Oh my, they have an ARRAY of candies and sweets and fruits and nuts and whatever you can think of to put on top of your froyo, plus a lot of sauces and other options to choose from. I could probably count like 50+ things to choose from. A bit on the pricier side (maybe because it's so good and I get so much) so I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards so you can win a free 6oz after a certain amount of purchases. For quick stop, the spot is perfect as they provide dine-in space and has dedicated parking spot as well! It's basically self-serve and pay by weight basis. They provide quite rich selections of flavors and I'd say they're pretty good with flavor rotations and offering distinctive ones including caffe latte, acai, even boysenberry! So it can serve different preferences from those liking classic flavors like tart, vanilla, or chocolate until those peculiar ones. They also offer the ones that are more creamy to those that are more fruity. Toppings were also plenty even including the sauce options! You can sit at the outdoor patio right in front and enjoy people watching. I think the further you go west you rarely find any frozen yogurt places! I'm so happy and thrilled that there is a place not too far away from me! This place does open a lot later too, which I really appreciate! There is plenty of enough parking and they also have seating inside and outside! They have a bunch of flavors that I found that were super delicious. I got the banana cream and the salted caramel which both flavors go together so well! They have a bunch of toppings and a lot of of them are also in little containers to shake! I would definitely be back to support the small business. My family and I were coming back from the beach and decided to stop for some yogurt at this place. The employee with a mustache was helping the customer before us and asked them if they were paying with cash or card. When it was our turn, he suddenly went inside and avoided helping us. It felt like he was deliberately ignoring us. My husband was going to pay with a $100 bill, but the employee said, "Sorry, I don't have change." I was really craving froyo one day and found out I've never tried this yogurt place. I soon found out why: Pros: -Good variety of flavor options -The fruits were VERY fresh - I had some blueberries for my toppings and it was probably one of the best blueberries I've had in a while. Super fresh and naturally sweet, not too tart -Nice aesthetics in terms of the shop decor Cons: -I tried three flavors: salted caramel, Greek yogurt, and espresso. All three were way too sweet and except for the salted caramel, I couldn't really taste what the flavor was supposed to be other than sugar. -did not like the toppings selection. There were only two fruit options that I saw when I visited: blueberries and raspberries. Majority of the toppings were candy (peanut butter cups, Kit Kat's, Twix), and the yogurt was already sweet enough. - service: non existent. There was only 1 person working during my visit and I believe she was busy fulfilling online orders, which I understand. But the little service I did receive (ringing me up) lacked warmth and was devoid of any emotion. - value: not worth it. This was not better than Yogurtland, and why would I pay $8 for this when I can get better options at Yogurtland for a lower price? The BEST in LA! They use quality ingredients and you can taste the difference. 4-5 staple flavors, vanilla custard, chocolate, honey greek, salted caramel, peanut butter and rotating no sugar added flavors. The peanut butter is absolutely unreal, I've never tasted such a perfect flavor. They use coconut milk in the pb mix, so it's dairy free, extra creamy and that much more delicious. If you're a peanut butter fan, this will blow your mind. I hope you have self-control (because I don't) as the place is self-serve and the toppings are a plenty! MENCHIES STEP ASIDE. I do not comprehend how they managed to make the peanut butter flavour so creamy without the use of dairy. Probably one of the best dairy-free dairy alternative things I've tried. I did find it to be a tad too sweet for my liking, but I generally prefer things that aren't very sweet. Also tried the dairy free chocolate shoppe one with activated charcoal; wasn't too sweet (which was nice!). The flavour was a bit peculiar (/almost watery?) but still good!! Their regular chocolate and vanilla were also good. I am so happy that you can taste the flavours / they give you sampler cups. They also have a great selection of toppings, and all the fruit was fresh. I was looking forward to trying the raspberry but to my (slightly unpleasant) surprise it ended up being the orange flavour (which, to be fair, I should've seen coming seeing as it came out orange. I would still however recommend getting the label right if they had run out of the raspberry). If I could make one overarching friendly suggestion, it would just be to make the flavours a little less sweet. Would also love to know more/have more info of what goes into the froyo (e.g. ingredients, what type of dairy, etc etc...) Will definitely want to come back again. Hands down the best yogurt we have ever had! My daughter and I stop by every time we have a chance. It is a little far from home but we have friends who live in the area, so it's always great to know yogurt is in the future when we are on that side of town. The center is very nice and a good place for family's / kids. The only down side is parking can be a little tough but just be patient, you will get a spot. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This yogurt ice cream place was located in a cute plaza with a great vibe. Metered parking, I think it's $2 per hour. They seemed pretty busy which is great. Their ice cream flavor selection was okay, although I would have liked more fruit flavors. We eventually tried the tarte, coconut, chocolate fudge brownie, and peanut butter. Out of the four, the peanut butter and coconut were spectacular. We didn't get too much of the toppings, so can't review much on that. One thing I am bummed is that the machines are not open to the public yet. At other yogurt places, they offer gloves for all customers which I think is nice. The gentleman that helped us was friendly, but he touched the credit card of the customer in front of us, then later proceeded to helping us with our orders with the same gloves. So I think this defeats the purpose of sectioning the area off for us to do it ourselves (with gloves), which could have actually been less susceptible to cross contamination. read more
