Amazing burger and amazing deal. So glad I went. Lots of people told me that this is the burger. And it is. Get it as a deal before 7:)

Updating my review to 4* based on the response from management - I always appreciate when businesses take critique with class and this was a great example of a nice response. One more rec for the owner (if they read this): some extra ketchup would be great! Didn't include that in my original review at all in terms of rating or description but just a little ask :) Thanks for the kind response, hope you and your staff have a nice night

This is what nyc and the neighborhood is about. Sign says order at a bar - like a bar. Fantastic natural wines. Happy hour special is great. Staff is last of a dying breed. Cat's stories make me long for a real nyc that's long gone. I like the loaded fries, animal style closest thing on East coast. Fantastic staff and awesome environment with a heated backyard and excellent service. 10/10. Enjoy this place WHILE YOU CAN.

Happy Hour!

INFLATION BUSTER ALERT! God I love that term, feel it should be used more. "INFLATION BUSTER" really just makes me laugh. Every time. I have been walking by the York for the past few weeks, and saw the happy hour sign outside. "Happy hour... 2-7... $12 for a burger, fries, and beer." Am I being punked? Did I accidentally time travel to the 1960s? Shidddd I wish, seeing Hendrix at Woodstock would have been tight. Anyways, I ended up trying it out with my roommate (former USC Basketball Superstar) on a Friday afternoon. We walk in the door and stand there and look at each other for a bit. "Is there a host or do we seat ourselves.." we communicated telepathically. After about 37 seconds of awkwardly standing there, my roommate goes up to the bartender and asks him if we seat ourselves. I'm really shy, hehe. Turns out the bartender was the ONLY one working the entire floor of the restaurant, and he did a DAMN good job. It was like 1 on 25 and he was running that no problem. Shoutout to Conor!!! The burger was honestly surprisingly very decent, and the fries got the job done as well. For the inflation buster special (IBS), you have 3 beer options of draft coors, bud light, or tecate. Tbh, I really don't know beer at all but went with the draft coors as that's what my big homie recommended. Take advantage of this IBS while it lasts!

Opie's Oklahoma onion burger - double patty perfection, just add pickles

Amazing service, shout out James!! The back patio is so clean, lovely and happy. Got the Oklahoma burger which was amazing, but pickles would take it to the next level! Will also be returning for their chicken nuggets next time

Have to say this place is top notch. Unfortunately I ate before arriving so I didn't get to try their food, well, except the fries (bomb). I can't wait to visit nyc again to try everything on the menu... Everything sounds very creative and thoughtfully put together, with an even better price. The cocktail I ordered was delicious and I really love their natural wine selection. Bartender was very friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere was so nice. It's a tad small, but I love the intimacy and all the attention to detail. Like I said, excited for next time!

Opie's Onion Burger - burger is cooked on top of the onions which gives some extra crispness with the caramelized flavor

The lads and I went here during the week for some burgers and brews. For such an unassuming spot, the smash burgers absolutely SLAP. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better one for less than $10. My boy said the breakfast sandwich was even better, so I ordered one to-go lol. I spent $30 for two beers and two amazing sandwiches, which is hard to come by in Manhattan. The place is quite intimate, so it might get uncomfy if it's packed. If you're able to secure seating, amazing spot for a casual hang or date night.

Happy Hour burger, fries, beer meal for $13

Súper great little happy hour spot! $13 for a single pattie burger, fried and a miller high life. can't beat it.

2 burgers and a side of onion rings for around $22 is pretty good nowadays. The food is about what you'd expect: not amazing, but good enough to eat with drinks. I'd definitely imagine this place gaining traction as a solid pregame area, to drink and eat with friends in a nice environment for fairly cheap.

Spicy chicken sando with fries and beer

Such a good deal ($15 for sandwich fries and beer) and sooooo good. French fries 10/10 beer selection 10/10 sandwich 100000/10

The York is a friendly, cozy bar bar with great burgers. HH is from 2 pm during weekdays, so I'll be coming here for late lunch often.

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I was lead to this great spot for a late dinner and cocktails on a Friday night. The hostess was really friendly and quicky sat us at a two seater near the bar, which we appreciated. The ambiance was light and friendly and they even had a DJ playing all the good jams! I think I danced a bit, (definitely liquid courage). The DJ read the room and created a fun ambiance. The waitress came over a few minutes later and quickly took our drink and meal order. We ordered the Tuna Crispy Rice ( Yum), Guinness Wager Sliders (Nom Nom), Korean Chicken Boas (My Favorite!) and Carnitas Tacos.....I'm embarrassed to admit that we cleaned our plates like a couple of savages. Bartley Dunnes is a great choice to come solo, meet up with friends or come as a group of no more than 4, unless you make a reservation. They have a second floor that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to check out, so I can't write about that. However, I did see people coming and going straight up. I'll be back!

They have a great happy hour running from open until 8 PM, including $6 beers and $8 cocktails, which is a great deal for the area. ordered the Bartleys Spritz (Aperol Spritz) and a Tequila Mule. We sat at the bar, which runs about half the length of the space, and there were also plenty of tables throughout. The back section of the bar feels a bit separated from the main entrance area. There are some TVs throughout, and everything inside seemed fairly new and well maintained. It was not very crowded on a Tuesday early evening, so service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We did not order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for happy hour drinks in the MoMA/Midtown West area.

The moment you step inside, you're transported to the Victorian era, with ornate details and charming décor that make the entire space feel like an experience in itself. We stopped in before a show without a reservation and, while the dining room was full, we were able to grab seats at the bar. Honestly, I think it worked out for the best--the bar felt more spacious than the table seating and had a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere for a Wednesday afternoon. The mocktails were as creative as they were delicious, and the cocktail menu offered plenty of tempting options as well. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and impressively efficient, striking that perfect balance of great service without constantly interrupting your conversation. We shared the sliders and the summer salad, and both were generously portioned and perfect for splitting. Between the beautiful setting, excellent drinks, and seamless service, this is definitely a place I'll be returning to.

Server was a sweetheart, really relaxed and didn't seem stressed or overworked, she was able to talk and not sprint around the restaurant. My mom ordered the beet salad. Not usually a fan of beets but I really loved the sauce (balsamic) and it was actually very good. I ordered all 3 mocktails and didn't have a complaint about any. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the décor and ambiance. Every corner has been thoughtfully designed with incredible attention to detail, creating one of the most unique and immersive bar experiences I've ever had. The level of intention behind the design is truly second to none. The cocktails were outstanding-creative, beautifully balanced, and expertly crafted. Every drink felt purposeful and showcased real talent behind the bar. Despite the venue being absolutely packed, the service remained warm, personal, and genuinely attentive. Bartender Juan was exceptional, and manager Andrii led by example with true hospitality. I initially had a seat that wasn't ideal, and without me saying a single word, they noticed. As soon as a better seat became available, they proactively offered to move me. That simple gesture spoke volumes about their awareness and commitment to guest experience. It's easy to deliver great service when a room is half empty. It's much harder when every seat is full, and that's exactly when this team shined the brightest. Bravo to the entire Oscar Wilde Bar team, especially Juan and Andrii. Experiences like this remind me why genuine hospitality is an art. I can't wait to return.
