If you don't show up when scheduled, fail to add a job to your schedule, and keep lying to your customer about the arrival time of your tech who NEVER shows up at all...why would I trust this company with my larger corporate work? How you treat people matters, whether the job is big or small. This was unacceptable today and I did not appreciate that I had to keep calling YOUR business to find out what was going on, what happened to the tech, etc. Why aren't YOUR people communicating with customers? Why didn't anyone apologize? Why didn't anyone call before close of business to say, "Hey, we're not coming!" I was extremely unhappy because no one cared that I had taken time off work to meet the tech and no one cared enough to even CALL me and let me know what was going on. You guys dropped the ball big time here and were incredibly thoughtless and rude. Update: They just arrived at 5:36 pm. The techs themselves were GREAT and were able to do the work and complete the job. However, I wanted someone to know about the lack of transparency and communication today as it was very upsetting to me. Our company was experiencing some real hardships with the previous alarm company (who will go…read moreunnamed). Everything from the contract term and renewal to the quality of service to the monitoring costs for the fire and burglary services. We went looking for a better all-in-one option and contacted several companies: JMG, ADT, Everon, SSD Systems and Viviant. It wasn't until I spoke with Ian Pfitzer-Ortiz in their commercial sales department that I really started to find a solution. Ian came out to the office and did a thorough inspection, learned that we had an existing system that we owned - so theoretically should have been an easy take over from the previous company. However, easy it was not. The control panel had several "lock out codes" from the previous company - preventing it from properly communicating with the central station. Then the mobile application wasn't notifying management of events (arms, disarms, troubles and alarms), like it had previously. We contacted the Bay Alarm service department and they were unable to resolve the issue over the phone. So, they sent service technician Freddy Medina to troubleshoot on site. He got on the phone with his programming department and they explored multiple theories of why the system wasn't properly working. At the end of the day, after teleconferencing with the panel's manufacturer and the previous alarm company, Freddy and his service team were able to resolve the issue. Everything is working properly and Bay Alarm did what was needed to find a solution. It means a lot when a company goes the extra mile to fix a problem that they didn't create - just to ensure customer satisfaction! Thank you Ian for taking the time to properly represent Bay Alarm and their services and thank you Freddy, for being the face of the customer service for Bay Alarm - with the patience and tenacity to get the job done right! Now, Bay Alarm services our burglary alarm system and when our contract with the "other" company is up in December - they will take over that system too. Very poor service request handling. Our fire panel has had an error(s) message for months and they…read morenever resolved or cleared the issue. We had also advised that some interior alarms did not announce in several units during an event and asked for them to come up with a solution to repair the issue. Nothing was ever resolved with nor did they provide any follow up response / solution. Also, they're unaware of the password for the panel to even work on it. So their only solution is to replace their panel with a new one. It is not recommend to use this particular location or even the company if this is how they handle a multi unit complex. We have no confidence at all and if zero stars could be given, then that would be their rating.

For my first home, the actual owner showed up for my installation. This guy was amazing! He connected my Sonos Arc and Sub in my living room and ran my wired outdoor speakers through my walls using the Sonos receiver. I was so impressed I hired them a second time. Next, Unify connected my Yamaha receiver to my second home's upstairs loft. Again, they ran the speaker wire through the walls and ran power and HDMI cables through my cabinets. I also purchased a second sub and receiver from Unify for my living room and had the tech connect my ARC, two subwoofer, game room, and outdoor speakers. These guys are true masters of their art! I will be calling them to set up my smart home soon.
