I like that this is a locally-owned business, and there is a store besides the grooming services…read more We only used the grooming services tonight, but we will be back to investigate the store another day. Rob was recommended to me for dog grooming by a person from whom I purchased a dog stroller online (apparently a friend or client of his). Setting the appointment on the phone was easy (apparently you can do this online, too), and I was given a very reasonable quote during the call, which I appreciated knowing ahead of time. So I took my two neurotic dogs for a bath and haircut, and warned him about my extra spicy chiweenie (Max) and that my terrier-dachshund mix (Malcolm) may never have been groomed before, so I wasn't sure how he would react (both former shelter dogs with trust issues). Rob listened to my stories and requests (and warnings), and then got to work. He was able to complete a full bath and groom for Malcolm, and Malcolm came out looking like a new dog! Amazing transformation and I'm told he was no trouble at all. Malcolm will definitely be back. Unfortunately Max was his *extra* spicy self, so Rob was only able to complete a bath, but Max came back none the worse for wear--just feeling like he got his way, I'm sure. He was very fluffy and fully brushed out, so he looked great and his fur is nice and soft, if not any shorter. (I was actually impressed Rob got that far! Well done!) To be fair, Max's regular groomer has spent a ton of time building the relationship with Max, and Max will let her do things he won't even let me do, so I knew it was a long shot, but he really needed a bath so I appreciate that that was accomplished. The only thing I didn't like was that the dogs have so much perfume on them I may have to rinse them or something tomorrow to get rid of the heavy scent. I can literally taste it in the air. I will know next time to ask not to use whatever that is, but if you don't like heavy scents, just be aware you have to ask to not have that put on. Rob did an excellent job with the grooming tho, and if you have a dog that's NOT neurotic and extra spicy, I highly recommend his services.

First-time to get 1 of my 3 dogs here. I spent $$ Sunday,…read more9/7/25 Time in: 11:50am I picked-up my dog at 3:56pm [without getting notified, as i wanted to simply drop-in/check-up on my dog as I was told it would take 2 hrs, top 3 hours] Customer service: Pleasant, friendly I was told he didn't charge extra for dematting my dog. Didn't realize they charge $10 for 1/4 of the hour. Ok, didn't realize there is a time-frame for baths and dematting. It would've been nice if they were more transparent with prices. What is this material fee? Lol Anyways, I gave tip in cash. I would like to take my 2 remaining dogs here, but with a different groomer and see how that goes. Unless, I find some other reliable groomer around Oceanside. We will see.

I had come in to buy dog food for my daughter's dog but the bag was way back on the shelf. So I…read morelooked down the aisles to find an employee and found one Tracy. Wished I didn't!!!I said excuse me when you get a chance could you get a bag of dog food down for me (she was stocking the shelves). She didn't say a word she put down what she had in her hand. I told she may need something long to reach it, there were some poles with little clips on them for displaying. She brought one with her. She followed be just a few feet away to the shelf, I pointed it out. She stepped up pulled it down and basically just pushed into my open arms. NOT A WORD WAS SAID. I did say thank you. I needed a 47 lb. of food then when I found it there was no way I was able to put in the basket. I was not going to ask Tracy for help. So I left in the aisle by the others. I went and paid and the cashier Sierra made the day a little better. Told her I was sending my daughter back to get the bigger bag. THEN when my daughter returned unfortunately Tracy was the cashier. My daughter just carried the 47 lb. Bag to pay for it. She was treated badly also. I know everyone has a bad day but maybe keep her busy in the back away from paying customers.
