The massive and popular Lakeline Mall up in the northwest suburbs of Austin used to have a food court filled with unique and spectacular items, such as Corn Dogs, Elotes, Jacket Potatoes (still have that one), and so on, and it was therefore one of my favorite and most enjoyable food courts in the country. Things changed a lot over the years, and these days, within the space of not too long really, several of my favourite unique places have closed down in the food court. However, Nacho Macho remains, and keeps the uniqueness alive, and keeps Austin just a little bit weird, or at least this Mall a little weird anyway. Long may it survive.

We were planning to try one of each taco but they had already run out of the pulled pork. They wrapped each taco individually in aluminum foil to keep it warm which was a nice touch, though they didn't bring out the red and green sauces until we asked for them. Brisket Taco ($9): The brisket was a bit dry but the slice was pretty thick and it paired well with the acidity of the pickles. Carne G Taco ($6): Super cheesy and heavy. The flavors weren't bad but I felt pretty gross after eating one and it left me really bloated.

The breakfast tacos have a flavor I've never been able to get at home. I don't know how they cook everything! The 3am is by far my favorite taco with that breakfast sausage that tastes like real meat. I've also gotten the "beef" nachos maybe three times. I'm constantly craving those. The food truck park is a cute area with lots of tables and fans. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast even when they're busy.
