Then a new sunroom in a new house. A minor problem (adhesive on one panel)..... they were out here immediately and put an entire new ceiling up. Got 6 windows installed, 5 casement windows and one awning window with frosted glass. The install went great, was done in a single day, and the guys were all really nice. We did have an issue with one window, I called their service line and they had people out same day to fix the issue to beyond my expectations. You can measure a company with no mistakes, but the REAL measure of a company is what they do and how they act when a mistake does occur, these guys knocked it out of the park. Ordered 5 windows , 4 double hung and one larger to replace our pella . These windows look cheap and don't have as big glass viewing area as our old windows. Lots of ugly cheap vinyl around them. Installation was very bad. Caulk smeared like a child around it, part of trim( w sharp edge) left upwards. My nice wood trim was gouged from their work. They will be out for a third time( if they keep the appointment) to try to fix . These are new install only 2 weeks old. Also no knowledge of window from installers. I asked about a piece of foam in bottom of window , if it was packing or something needed for window. He said he didn't know but probably just throw it away. I threw away all of it and found out it was part of the cheap window . I do not recommend this company read more

Just had 13 windows and a sliding patio door installed. John Murphy, our salesperson, was no pressure and did a great job explaining their windows and the installation process. Our windows were to be installed Thur and Fri, when I hadn't heard from the installers, I called the installation dept Wed morning. Dan, the installation manager said they were having issues with another install and was waiting to hear from the install team as to whether or not they'd be able to get to us Thur. He said it wasn't looking good but he would send TWO teams out on Fri to get the job done in one day. Russ and his teams showed up at 8AM with more guys arriving around 1PM. They were done, cleaned up and driving away by 3PM. These guys were friendly, efficient and very professional. The windows, including all the finish work, look great and we can really feel the difference with regard to comfort. We would definitely recommend Thermo Twin. read more

Purchased a replacement screen door for patio slider last fall. Product of excellent quality. Recently someone accidently tried to walk through screen and pulled the screening away from the frame. Thermo Twin repaired the screen on site, charging only for the repair and not the service call. We had an excellent overall experience getting fiberglass replacement windows from them. The estimate consult was markety, but professional. I don't think we could have asked for more in terms of installation, though. The crew was punctual, professional, and friendly. They replaced 13 windows in about a day and a half, and left our house as clean as it was before they started. We have marble window sills. They broke one on the first day, and immediately told us about it. They brought a new matching sill the next day and installed it. It matches perfectly. Mistakes happen, and how a company handles them is often very telling. Kudos to Thermo Twin for handling this so well. The windows are of much higher quality than what we had before (older aluminum). We'll see how they hold up and affect our energy usage over time, but for now, we're very happy with our new windows and with Thermo Twin. read more

I can't say enough good things about Thermo Twin. They answer the phone, came right away, and gave us a fair quote. The 6 windows were ready two months ahead of schedule. The workmen were thoughtful and hard working. They cleaned up after themselves, to the point where, with the exception of new beautiful windows, you would never know they were there. We selected Thermo Twin windows for our home being built in Pittsburgh. We wanted to support a local business. The windows seem high quality, which we will see with time. The issue we had with Therm Twin was that they were quick to accept the order with a 4wk quote for delivery. The order partially delivered in 4 wks, with the remainder back ordered. After a series of mistakes, on their part, the order was finally fulfilled almost 16 wks later. The delivery caused delays in our construction and extended our stay in a rental. I am not impressed with their customer service nor "sense of urgency". read more

We had the arrogant Mr. Cliff (Thermo Twin representative) show up to our house yesterday to give us an estimate on our windows. We used Thermo Twin in the past at our old house and the windows looked great after moving 7 years later. First time I met this Cliff man was at the old house, where his cocky attitude was in full bloom. I really didn't think he would still be around. This time he asked too many personal questions and commented on us with insulting manners when we explained to him that we needed to think about the price (way overpriced) and that we wanted to discuss it with some family members. And I must add, the window showcase he brought was so poorly managed he scratched our wooden floors! Needless to say, we won't be using this company for our windows. Luckily there are other companies in the area that have a good reputation and, hopefully, a good sales representative who will show us (and our house) the respect we deserve. read more

My husband and I decided to get a bay window installed before the pandemic. We were affected by the virus so I called to cancel the installation a month before it was scheduled to be installed. The company couldn't make it out for a measurement anyways. I just received a call from a sales manager asking me why I cancelled. When I told him we were affected by the virus he proceeded to tell me that's a breech of contract and started discussing money. Whaaat??!!! DO NOT USE Thermo-Twin Industries for you window or sliding door replacement. This company is poor at best. I ordered Black windows and they installed espresso brown. The sliding door was installed uneven and the caulking job is unsightly. Brian Carricato is not honest. He is in it for the sale and nothing more. Also, don't depend on Service Manager - Dan Russino to offer any professional help. He pretty much depends on Brian to make his decisions. In addition to the poor quality of workmanship and product, they broke pickets on my wooden fence. When I made an inquiry to receive compensation I was offered $300.00 for my inconvenience. Then they offered to come and replace the sliding glass door. There is carpeting and tile that would get damaged should they remove the door. I have no matching tile or carpet to reinstall. Are they willing to replace all tile and carpet, well no. Not to mention taking the day off work, strangers in my home during Covid and why would I trust them again? I asked for $662.00 to compensate for their mistake which is more than fair. Now I am taking this company to court and will be asking for all windows and door to be replaced. Including fence repair. Please spend a few more dollars and avoid a big head ache. read more

VERY BAD SALES MEETING! DO NOT USE THEM! Sales man showed up (After I happily met HIS request to reschedule 3 times), NEVER gave me his business card. Then proceeded to complain to ME about the 2 more sales calls he had scheduled that were very far away from my location (I do not care I am NOT your boss)! Now I admit I was asking a lot of questions dealing with windows and my options,but that's my right- I want to make an informed decision on replacing all of the windows in my home (16 to 20 windows). All of a sudden the salesman said, "all of these questions, This is the way i make my living - you are wasting my time! You probably are not going to buy windows anyways!" Just keep in mind I accommodated this guy for time changes 3 times! I left WORK to meet with this "salesman". So I called back, got through to a gentleme who never gave his name, and then was rude when he found out what I was looking for and said he would transfer and he disconnected me. Brian came to my parents home to give them a quote for windows. He would not leave until they signed an agreement and were totally badgered into signing. I found out later they totally over payed. It's a shame taking advantage of the elderly. I would never recommend them to anyone!!! read more

My elderly mother had a horrible experience with this company cheating her. They insisted that she sign a contract before they would even consider doing the work (which she did); however, then when the job only took two hours instead of the four specified in the contract that they were basing the total cost on, they still insisted she pay the full amount. The supervisor would not return our calls and she continued to be harassed with past-due notices, etc. Save yourself a lot of hassle--do NOT trust this company! read more

A friend recommended this company after they recently had a good experience. I on the other hand am very disappointed. I called the company a few days ago because I am interested in buying new windows for my house. I asked the phone rep. if the company serviced my area because I didn't want to waste anyone's time and effort. After finding out that the company does come to my area, I scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. I told the company upfront that I was planning to have the windows replaced in a few months but I wanted to know upfront what the price would be. They were okay with that and proceeded with the appointment. A few days later, I received a call from a Thermo Twin Rep and he advised that although I was already scheduled for an estimate but because I was unsure about having the project completed right away, that he was going to have to go ahead with an appointment at another house. He gave me an over the phone quote of $750 a window and asked me if I was interested with that price. when I told him that money was not an issue...I just new need windows, he told me that he would go ahead and get the windows ordered. (Yeah right!) My goodness. I was shocked. He didn't even have my window measurements and he didn't even explain the different types of windows that were available. I guess my money is not green enough this month!?! I kindly thanked him for his valuable 2 seconds of time and moved on with my window search. I am unsure why the company offers free estimates if coming to the homes is a bother. I don't feel that the customer service was very good but believe me...I will get new windows!
