Great experience! Food was delicious! Service was fantastic, and the ambiance was family friendly but also relaxing. Came for lunch at the perfect time apparently because as soon as we sat down a bunch of other people started trickling in. I was worried that meant we'd have to wait longer, but nope! Service was timely and done with ease. The portion are great, I love all the veggie sides that come with each dish. I have to stop myself or I'll explode. But it was so delicious I'll definitely be coming back. I think the hainan "chicken" was my favorite. Pan seared to perfection and had a great umami flavor. See you next time!

Wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled into the little plaza but my tastebuds were blown away! Thien Tam has become a new favorite. You won't even miss the meat (coming from a non-vegetarian). I got the bun hue and Hainan chicken. The "chicken" for the Hainan chicken dish was amazingly textured. Even better when dipped in the ginger sauce. The bun hue was also great. Decent portions. Service was good. It's a pretty small place so easy to flag down waiters when necessary. We were served lemon-infused water immediately upon seating. Not a super fancy ambiance but the food is even better than some upscale spots.

Small little place with great service and do ours food. It's in a nondescript plaza/strip mall of sorts. Parking: easy peasy Hainan chicken dish: the rice is flavored, but I can't put my finger on with what. Definitely reminiscent of the oil rice that comes with regular Hainan chicken. A... lemon grass rice also very good. The sauce is divine. There's enough greenery on the side as well, so it's both heavy and balanced. Definitely will revisit

This place was amazing!! Everything was so flavorful, fresh and delicious! After just trying three dishes, I would consider trying every single thing off of their menu! #12 on the menu was a wonton soup with egg noodles and wow, the noodles were the perfect flavor and texture! They had multiple different types of protein in the soup too, three to be exact! The broth was very flavorful without being too salty. I highly recommend trying this dish! #20 on the menu was a delicious rice noodle salad. That would be the perfect dish on a hot summer day, but also on any day cuz it was just that good. #22 on the menu was a great entree dish with rice, pickled veggies, and lemongrass chicken. The perfect balance of flavor and freshness. And the rice was cooked to a perfect texture, like almost al dente. Not only was the food amazing, they had very good portion sizes for the price! I really felt like I got the most bang for my buck! The portions were so big that I couldn't even finish one plate of food! As for the restaurant space, it is on the smaller size and the largest party they could fit at a table would be 8. The atmosphere was very casual and quiet. The service was great, the wait staff was friendly and the food came out fast! I highly recommend trying this place!!

the vegan food here is amazing! flavorful and delicious. the service is top notch, super friendly workers. the bun hue is my favorite. definitely recommend! not too many people despite going on a weekend; there are many table accommodations and people usually just eat and go. the staff works fast to clean the table and serve the food right away.

This is one of my spots I go to when I'm craving vegetarian food in the SGV. Eveything is simple and fresh, they do a great job at making popular Chinese/Vietnamese dishes to be vegetarian-friendly! I ordered the Hainan Chicken, everything was good but the sauce was a little bland for my liking. However, the crispiness from the chicken with the pickled radish/carrots made up for it. Paired with the fresh spring salad and soup on the side, this dish was well-balanced and delicious. The restaurant itself and the parking lot is small, so it started to get crowded when I went during lunch time. However the service is fast and I would recommend trying this place if you want a vegetarian twist on traditional Chinese/Vietnamese dishes!

They have Vietnamese vegetarian dishes here that are very tasty. Prices are fair ($15~ an entree). Customer service is very friendly. The inside is cute and looks like was upgraded/redesigned since i last visited. Cute paintings and lamps with a checkerboard floor. They have several big tables. Some of our favorite items are their chow mein and hainan chicken rice. We love their hainan chicken rice which comes with veggie chicken (fried) with flavored rice, and some cucumbers and pickled veggies with a side of ginger sauce. You can call to order ahead. The food is prepared pretty quickly. This vegetarian place has buddhist vegetarian food (no onion, no garlic, no chives, no meat). Great vegetarian place in the SGV. They have some pre packed items like veggie jerkey and veggie spring rolls. They accept credit card and apple pay!

AMAZING VEGAN OPTIONS! This is a very long awaited review but I had to get it done because I eat here at least once a week! A small hole in the wall location packing tons of flavor! The staff is very friendly, helpful and quick! My go to order is the Bun Bo Hue, a very flavorful broth that's just the perfect amount of light spice, lemongrass, and sweetness! It's paired with multiple faux meats that are bursting with flavor! My boyfriend gets the Bun Rieu which is a tomato based broth that consists of similar faux meats. The soup typically comes with crab in the ingredients but this restaurant does an excellent job recreating that. Another favorite to both of us is the Pho, it is easily the best vegan pho i've found throughout both the los angeles/orange county region. The mushroom broth base has SO much depth in flavor, I could seriously eat it everyday. They serve each soup with the perfect amount of noodles every time, no skimping out and never too much! This place is always just right. Take out is just as yummy! Give this place a try, you'll be coming back sooner than you think. :)

This soup is so pungent that the only time I get to savor it is at home and the stink doesn't leave your home for a few days. So, it is to my delight that they offer it here during the weekdays. It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. I wanted to get some Chinese food to-go for my husband, but was told by the server that the other items were only available beginning at 10 am, which is odd to me.

I grew up eating pho in Saigon and IYKYK, the pho in North America vs in Saigon are distinct. One isn't inherently better than the other, it's just a matter of taste. Didn't think I'd find it here in the SGV vs in Orange County where I lived for 10+ yrs. Broth at Viet Huong is richer vs the clear broth favored at most places here. The brisket (thịt chín) has a little bit more fat to it which makes it less dry, cut with a meatier cut vs paper thin. The rare beef is minced a little. All the good things that remind me of the good old Saigonese pho flavors. The staff is very friendly. They all speak English really well which made me doubt the authenticity of the food (lol) but that worry was put to rest soon after my pho bowl came out. This will become my new favorite pho place.

I can't eat cucumber, so I asked for no cucumber in both my pork dish and spring rolls. They accidentally still included it in my pork dish. Thankfully, when I brought it up, they fixed it quickly and apologized right away, which I appreciated a lot. I still love this place, but I do think it's important for people with allergies or food restrictions to double check their food before eating, just to be safe. Besides that, everything else has been amazing. The restaurant has a really calm atmosphere with lots of greenery and that open, cozy Vietnamese restaurant feel. The workers are also really kind and welcoming every time I come in. I also appreciate how authentic this place feels. It's decorated with overhead chandeliers with bright lights and marble tables. When your table is ready, they also give you a tray full of chopsticks, napkins, and forks. Each table also has hoisin, sriracha, chili sauce, and another sauce I'm not too sure about. After we ordered, I got my pho da biet maybe 5 minutes after. The cha gios also came out a few minutes after too. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's com tam was forgotten about until after I devoured my pho. We even asked them about it in the middle and it was checked on but we weren't updated and thought they had went ahead and cancelled it but it still came out. No biggy, we packed it to-go since we basically split the pho da biet. Food: Pho da biet (9.5/10): The pho was soooo delicious. It was meaty with a little bit of sweetness to it. This is one of the few places where I don't feel the need to sauce down my pho to enjoy it. There's a good amount of meat in here. If you're a tendon enjoyer, there's about 3 big chunks in here. I love the way they separate everything. If you order this, it comes with the stone bowl at no additional costs. They separate the noodles and ribeye on the side and let you "decorate" it yourself. There was also a good amount of noodles in here. Com tam (7.9/10): I thought that this one was just okay. We got the grilled pork and grilled pork chop and I thought that the meats were cooked perfectly. There was a nice char to the meats and it was seasoned deliciously. It came with a lot of rice and a side of soup to enjoy! I did enjoy this fish sauce more than the one that came with the egg rolls. Overall, I wish this dish came out the same time as the pho so we could've enjoyed it together. Cha gio/Imperial Rolls (7/10): I love egg rolls but this one didn't really stand out to me. It comes with a good amount of vegetables that you can use to wrap your egg rolls in. I wish the fish sauce that came with this was more salty. Maybe it was that day, but I couldn't really tell what was inside the filling. It was all mushed in together instead of different layers. The skin was very thin and crispy which I really liked!

The broth was deeply flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and it came loaded with big, meaty pork feet and pork blood that made it feel extra hearty and authentic. Definitely one of those dishes that warms your soul. We also tried the banh beo. Service was fast and the restaurant looks mostly the same as before, but the food itself was just alright. Here's what I tried: Pho Chin Bo Vien - Portion size was generous and very filling. The broth tasted okay but nothing memorable, and the noodles had a slight bite to them. Solid, but not standout. (3.5/5) Com Suon, Cha Trung - This dish was also just okay. The rice was mushy, likely from too much water. The pork was a bit fatty but decently seasoned. The egg portion was very small, though it did taste good. Overall, nothing special. (3.5/5) Would I come back? Honestly, probably not. With so many great pho spots nearby, this visit didn't stick with me the way it used to. I used to frequent this place, but this time it fell a bit flat.

For our family of seven, we always call ahead and order their famous baked medium catfish the day before so it's ready when we arrive for our reservation. It's always the highlight of the meal. We also never skip the 7 Courses of Beef and usually order two sets for the table. Everything is delicious and perfect for sharing family style. What keeps us coming back, beyond the amazing food, is the warm and welcoming family atmosphere. The staff always make us feel at home and Kevin is hands down the best! He's friendly, attentive and always helps make our celebrations feel extra special. Great food, great service, and a place that truly feels like family. Highly recommend for any family gathering or special occasion!

Our server, Kevin, truly made the night memorable. He is hilarious and charismatic, ensuring we were well taken care of while keeping everyone laughing throughout the entire meal. The food was fantastic, especially the large catfish we ordered along with several other dishes. A helpful tip for anyone planning a visit is to order the catfish in advance when you make your reservation, as it is a popular item that takes some time to prepare. The dining style is interactive and fun since you wrap your own rolls using the catfish and various meats accompanied by fresh vegetables and vermicelli. We were there celebrating a friend's birthday, and the staff was kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge until we were ready for dessert at the end of the night. Everything was delicious, and the service made the celebration even more special.
