Visited first time due to yelp says open at 9am which was convenient for me to go have breakfast and run an errand. Overall, the chicken pho ga was not be bad chicken really tender with all you can eat ginger sauce. I chose the bone one not shredded chicken. The soup was OK nothing to brag about and then the banh cuon was ok I still like bmc better. The iced coffee was very good even though cup is small just the way I like it a bit black and bitter not too sweet. Price is decent large soup under $15 for both dish same price for the large beef pho which I purchased for my dad. Both dishes had a normal portion, but I think it's only a dollar or less difference so no reason to pay for the small. This is great comfort food if you're coming in for chicken pho or Hainan chicken rice. The broth is very refreshing and you can season it with any of the condiments like fish sauce or their blanched veggies. It comes with a mixed of boneless dark and white meat. Their Hainan chicken rice is a great introduction to chicken rice but the sauces is what makes the dish. They have a generous jar of ginger oil scallion and a bottle of chili oil. To be honest, it's room temperature so it's not as delicious if the oil wasn't sizzling hot. The complimentary soup tastes a little saltier than the pho ga broth but that's what I typically experienced with other Vietnamese places. The service was very fast. I came in around 1:30pm on a weekday and the restaurant was still about 50% full. The parking lot is absolutely atrocious and would suggest parking on the street if you can so you don't get stuck like I did. I ordered a small pho ga and was surprised how quickly everything came out. Extra point for the COOKED bean sprouts so they don't cool down my soup. They were generous with the noodle portions and chicken portions were just ok. I drive from Ktown which is about 15 miles away during lunch hour commuting rushes when I'm WFH just to eat here. We ordered two large bowls of rice noodles and a whole chicken Togo , and everything was really satisfying. The chicken soup was rich, fragrant, and naturally sweet -- you can really taste the depth in the broth. The rice noodles were perfectly chewy and springy, easily one of the best I've had. The chicken itself had a beautiful golden skin with that nice "chicken oil" aroma, though I found the seasoning a little on the light side and the breast meat a bit tough. Still, the flavors were spot on and it's the kind of meal that makes you want to come back. I normally don't eat pho-style noodles often, but here it's definitely a must-try. Really delicious and authentic chicken pho. The broth is clean and flavorful and it tastes close to homemade. I also enjoy their mien (glass noodles) that comes with woodear mushrooms. I also enjoy the hai Nam chicken that comes with a very fragrant ginger rice. I wish they had a white meat option or that their dark meat has more meat on it. When I say this, don't come for me. I already know everyone is going to have a heart attack buuuuuuut I don't really like pho. It's not my favorite. My friends wanted to come after work and I didn't feel like arguing so I went. I ordered the Woodear mushroom and chicken pho and it was delicious. The broth was really tasty. I've been to this place many times but their quality seems to be going down. We got the bun cha ca (fish cake noodle soup - small size $12.25) and bun cha gio thit nuong $13.25 (grilled pork, fried egg rolls, fresh herbs & veggies tossed with vermecelli). However, I'm disappointed by their grilled pork quality, they were very thin slices and so dry, it tasted like pork jerky but they were lack of flavor to me and even the color did not seem right. The fried egg rolls were not crispy as well. For the fish cake noodle soup, I didn't taste much tomato flavor as well. Price is reasonable and portion size are good but they need to improve the quality of the food. read more

I will never come back. The chicken was undercooked, still bloody, and even had feathers -- both white and black ones. The flavor was mediocre at best. When we got the bill, they overcharged us by $23 for an extra noodle bowl and a drink we never ordered. Instead of apologizing, the lady (probably the owner) simply wrote a total number on a piece of paper -- no receipt, no explanation -- and still reminded us twice to leave a tip. This is definitely one of my favorite places to get Pho Ga or their hainan chicken rice! I've been coming here since I was a kid so this place is definitely nostalgic for me. Can't go wrong with pho ga, their ginger sauce pairs perfectly with the chicken, sometimes I like to add it to my broth as well. The hainan chicken rice is also delicious, the rice has that chicken flavor to it and it comes with the classic scallion sauce for dipping your chicken but I like to use the ginger sauce as well for my chicken. I got the mien ga which is just replacing the classic pho noodles with glass noodles instead and it came all balled up. I was feeling a little under the weather and my girlfriend wanted to have some pho so we stopped by. I had the chicken soup, which I would not recommend. I've never in my life have eaten rubbery chicken. But if I ever get my jaw broken, I'm more than glad to order it next time. My girl's pho, on the other hand, was amazingly good! That totally made me regret not having it. I'll definitely try it next time if I go back. The waitresses were cool, but the language barrier totally complicates things.
