I came in around 1:30pm on a weekday and the restaurant was still about 50% full. The parking lot is absolutely atrocious and would suggest parking on the street if you can so you don't get stuck like I did. It took a while to get someone's attention when I first walked in, but after they were speedy with coming to take my order and bringing everything out. I ordered a small pho ga and was surprised how quickly everything came out. Extra point for the COOKED bean sprouts so they don't cool down my soup. They were generous with the noodle portions and chicken portions were just ok. I was surprised to see chicken came boneless (bones make it so much better!) and unfortunately the meat was too dry and tough. I thought everything was ok and got the craving for pho ga satisfied... until I was about 70% done and found two hairs floating in my bowl. I was a little grossed out, but already finished majority of it so nothing I could've done then. You pay up at the register and it's cash only.

Price discrepancy. Fault!

I always go to this place because i thought its cheaper than other places. The menu says 13.95 for a Large bowl. But look at how much they actually charge. They raise the price pretty often, like 2-3% every few months, and they always say its the old menu. Its not cool.

All you can eat ginger for chicken and great Vietnamese ice coffee

Visited first time due to yelp says open at 9am which was convenient for me to go have breakfast and run an errand. Overall, the chicken pho ga was not be bad chicken really tender with all you can eat ginger sauce. I chose the bone one not shredded chicken. The soup was OK nothing to brag about and then the banh cuon was ok I still like bmc better. The iced coffee was very good even though cup is small just the way I like it a bit black and bitter not too sweet. Price is decent large soup under $15 for both dish same price for the large beef pho which I purchased for my dad. Both dishes had a normal portion, but I think it's only a dollar or less difference so no reason to pay for the small. Overall, good service will come again if I need a quick chicken pho 9am which not a lot of places are open.

We ordered two large bowls of rice noodles and a whole chicken Togo , and everything was really satisfying. The chicken soup was rich, fragrant, and naturally sweet -- you can really taste the depth in the broth. The rice noodles were perfectly chewy and springy, easily one of the best I've had. The chicken itself had a beautiful golden skin with that nice "chicken oil" aroma, though I found the seasoning a little on the light side and the breast meat a bit tough. Still, the flavors were spot on and it's the kind of meal that makes you want to come back. I normally don't eat pho-style noodles often, but here it's definitely a must-try. I'll be returning for sure!

Looking for a solid chicken pho is easy in SGV... for a group of 8 we got seated right away and we had great service. We chose this place was because of the reviews on the softness of the rice noodle and chicken reviews. They have several options for noodle type and I thought that was cool! The broth is feels like home, chicken had a good amount of meat on it and not just bones, we also ordered the braised beef and half a chicken to share which were both great portions. We will be back on another trip to SGV.

Bun Cha Hà Nội

Good and very friendly service. The Banh Cuon was good and so was the mung bean & Pandan drink. The bun cha Hanoi was average since they probably did not have a charcoal grill and the meat was probably pre-cooked abd a bit tough. Overall a nice place that I will return to so that other dishes can be tasted.

Ordered for pick up today. This is my go to Banh Cuon and Pho Ga (chicken pho) place! I Iike how they have different sizes for the banh cuon. It's a great lunch/ dinner meal. They have online ordering : UberEATs and Yelp, or call in. They were super fast with preparing the order. Everything always tasted good and consistent. They have a good amount of seats, around 12-20 tables. It's right off the freeway, they have a parking lot or street parking.

I looked up Pho places in the area near me to try somewhere different than my usual favorite Pho spot. This one popped up. I chose this one in particular because they use real fresh chicken meat. I liked the fact that it had many people already eating there early in the morning. Prices are fairly reasonable. It's an a center, so easy to get to, was able to get a parking space right away. It's actually bigger inside than I thought. It is cash only. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. The Pho was good. The broth wasn't as favorable as I like but very healthy tasting and they didn't give basil in my order to go. So next time I know to ask. I did like the egg rolls. And want to try their rare beef next time. I did like trying here for something new.

Love the pho ga here. My favor is pho mien or pho ga. You can order the chicken separately

Really delicious and authentic chicken pho. The broth is clean and flavorful and it tastes close to homemade. I also enjoy their mien (glass noodles) that comes with woodear mushrooms. I also enjoy the hai Nam chicken that comes with a very fragrant ginger rice. I wish they had a white meat option or that their dark meat has more meat on it. It's a lot of bones and skin for the portion. While chicken is the focus here, they also have other dishes like bun rieu, banh cuon and bun cha Hanoi. Service is quick at first but fairly inattentive once food is brought to you. They are located in a strip mall with abundant and easy parking. Overall a solid old school spot.

It comes with chilies and fish sauce for you to pour on top. The rice cakes are served warm and are super smooth and soft. The thai chilies it comes with are spicy so don't use too much. The vermicelli with nem nuong and egg rolls comes with a slab of meat and a whole egg roll. The bottom are the noodles and mix of veggie and herbs. The nem nuong is sweetened charbroiled pork that is grilled. Think of a sweet meat ball. The egg rolls are super crispy and filled with meat. The noodles go well with the fish sauce and there are a lot of veggies inside. The nem nuong coun is a spring roll that's wrapped in rice paper. It has the meat and lettuce wrapped inside and comes with a dipping sauce. I believe the sauce is made with ground shrimp. For $8 for 3 rolls it is a steal compared to other restaurants. If you are craving Brodards in OC this place can satisfy your craving. Their che ba mau which is a 3 bean dessert has a lot of beans inside topped with coconut milk and shaved ice. It is the person drink to finish your meal and it is not too sweet.

Com Tam is decent, rice texture is on point. Pork chop is marinated well but not enough lemongrass flavor, tender and not dry at all. Baked egg was good but not amazing, seemed like it missing shredded wood ear mushroom. Che Ba Mau by far hands down the worst I've had. Red bean wasn't soft, outer shell/skin was still pretty tough. Not much mung bean either after stirring it literally for about 4 seconds the mung bean basically disintegrated into the liquid. The liquid.. watered down skim milk, not a trace of coconut flavor anywhere. I didn't know you can mess up Che Ba Mau until I had it from here.

Inside was pretty small but they offer inside and outside seating. Menu had a good variety of dishes and prices were reasonably priced. Got the Special Beef Combo Noodle ($14.50) and it consisted of eye round steak, well done flank, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball. The broth tasted very light and not too greasy or salty so that was enjoyable. The quality of the meat was very dry and wasn't tender so that was very disappointing. The portion of meat and noodles given wasn't plentiful so that was a bummer. The basil, bean sprouts, and lemon were decent and so were the complimentary sauces. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the pho and even though it was reasonably priced, it didn't seem to be worth the price since the pho tasted very underwhelming.

We started with the rice cakes and pork spring rolls. The rice cakes were soft and delicate, while the spring rolls were packed with fresh vegetables and had a nice balance of textures. The Vietnamese crepe was one of my favorite dishes. The crepe itself was crispy and filled with bean sprouts, shrimp, and pork, creating a flavorful bite with plenty of crunch and freshness. The broken rice plate was another standout. The sweet and savory fish sauce soaked into the rice perfectly, and the assortment of meats was well-seasoned and flavorful. The vermicelli bowl was fresh and satisfying, featuring aromatic lemongrass pork that was beautifully charred. The pho was the highlight of the meal. The broth was rich, fragrant, and full of beef flavor. The noodles maintained a great texture, and the meats were tender. It came with a lot of rice and a side of soup to enjoy! I did enjoy this fish sauce more than the one that came with the egg rolls. Overall, I wish this dish came out the same time as the pho so we could've enjoyed it together. Cha gio/Imperial Rolls (7/10): I love egg rolls but this one didn't really stand out to me. It comes with a good amount of vegetables that you can use to wrap your egg rolls in. I wish the fish sauce that came with this was more salty. Maybe it was that day, but I couldn't really tell what was inside the filling. It was all mushed in together instead of different layers. The skin was very thin and crispy which I really liked!
