All you can eat ginger for chicken and great Vietnamese ice coffee
    Ken W.

Visited first time due to yelp says open at 9am which was convenient for me to go have breakfast and run an errand. Overall, the chicken pho ga was not be bad chicken really tender with all you can eat ginger sauce. I chose the bone one not shredded chicken. The soup was OK nothing to brag about and then the banh cuon was ok I still like bmc better. The iced coffee was very good even though cup is small just the way I like it a bit black and bitter not too sweet. Price is decent large soup under $15 for both dish same price for the large beef pho which I purchased for my dad. Both dishes had a normal portion, but I think it's only a dollar or less difference so no reason to pay for the small. Overall, good service will come again if I need a quick chicken pho 9am which not a lot of places are open.

Hainan Chicken Rice ( Leg and Thigh )

This is great comfort food if you're coming in for chicken pho or Hainan chicken rice. The broth is very refreshing and you can season it with any of the condiments like fish sauce or their blanched veggies. It comes with a mixed of boneless dark and white meat. Their Hainan chicken rice is a great introduction to chicken rice but the sauces is what makes the dish. They have a generous jar of ginger oil scallion and a bottle of chili oil. To be honest, it's room temperature so it's not as delicious if the oil wasn't sizzling hot. The complimentary soup tastes a little saltier than the pho ga broth but that's what I typically experienced with other Vietnamese places. The service was very fast. They also speak Vietnamese, English, Cantonese and Mandarin. They got me practicing! Cash seems to be their preferred way of payment, so that might be an inconvenience for you. Cảm ơn nhiều! Thank you very much, I would recommend this again.

I came in around 1:30pm on a weekday and the restaurant was still about 50% full. The parking lot is absolutely atrocious and would suggest parking on the street if you can so you don't get stuck like I did. It took a while to get someone's attention when I first walked in, but after they were speedy with coming to take my order and bringing everything out. I ordered a small pho ga and was surprised how quickly everything came out. Extra point for the COOKED bean sprouts so they don't cool down my soup. They were generous with the noodle portions and chicken portions were just ok. I was surprised to see chicken came boneless (bones make it so much better!) and unfortunately the meat was too dry and tough. I thought everything was ok and got the craving for pho ga satisfied... until I was about 70% done and found two hairs floating in my bowl. I was a little grossed out, but already finished majority of it so nothing I could've done then. You pay up at the register and it's cash only.

We ordered two large bowls of rice noodles and a whole chicken Togo , and everything was really satisfying. The chicken soup was rich, fragrant, and naturally sweet -- you can really taste the depth in the broth. The rice noodles were perfectly chewy and springy, easily one of the best I've had. The chicken itself had a beautiful golden skin with that nice "chicken oil" aroma, though I found the seasoning a little on the light side and the breast meat a bit tough. Still, the flavors were spot on and it's the kind of meal that makes you want to come back. I normally don't eat pho-style noodles often, but here it's definitely a must-try. I'll be returning for sure!

    Price discrepancy. Fault!

I always go to this place because i thought its cheaper than other places. The menu says 13.95 for a Large bowl. But look at how much they actually charge. They raise the price pretty often, like 2-3% every few months, and they always say its the old menu. Its not cool.

Looking for a solid chicken pho is easy in SGV... for a group of 8 we got seated right away and we had great service. We chose this place was because of the reviews on the softness of the rice noodle and chicken reviews. They have several options for noodle type and I thought that was cool! The broth is feels like home, chicken had a good amount of meat on it and not just bones, we also ordered the braised beef and half a chicken to share which were both great portions. We will be back on another trip to SGV.

Good and very friendly service. The Banh Cuon was good and so was the mung bean & Pandan drink. The bun cha Hanoi was average since they probably did not have a charcoal grill and the meat was probably pre-cooked abd a bit tough. Overall a nice place that I will return to so that other dishes can be tasted.

Ordered for pick up today. This is my go to Banh Cuon and Pho Ga (chicken pho) place! I Iike how they have different sizes for the banh cuon. It's a great lunch/ dinner meal. They have online ordering : UberEATs and Yelp, or call in. They were super fast with preparing the order. Everything always tasted good and consistent. They have a good amount of seats, around 12-20 tables. It's right off the freeway, they have a parking lot or street parking.

I looked up Pho places in the area near me to try somewhere different than my usual favorite Pho spot. This one popped up. I chose this one in particular because they use real fresh chicken meat. I liked the fact that it had many people already eating there early in the morning. Prices are fairly reasonable. It's an a center, so easy to get to, was able to get a parking space right away. It's actually bigger inside than I thought. It is cash only. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. The Pho was good. The broth wasn't as favorable as I like but very healthy tasting and they didn't give basil in my order to go. So next time I know to ask. I did like the egg rolls. And want to try their rare beef next time. I did like trying here for something new.

Love the pho ga here. My favor is pho mien or pho ga. You can order the chicken separately

There's plenty of meat with a variety of beef cuts, some with just the right amount of fat that makes each bite rich and satisfying. I'd confidently call this Southern California's most authentic pho experience -- on par with what you'd find in the Vietnamese enclaves of Orange County. The fresh veggie plate they serve alongside complements the soup beautifully. Round it out with an iced tea, and you've got a thoroughly satisfying Saturday afternoon meal. Lots of regulars in the restaurant it seemed. On this night , there were short staffed and I had to remind my server about my order a few times. The manager came out to apologize. The meat tasted old, the rice was poorly seasoned, their complimentary soup you get when you first sit tasted like poultry. I know there's chicken feet in there but it didn't taste like 'chicken' it tasted like when you walk in to a poultry soup. It tastes like how the poultry shop smells. If you haven't been to a poultry shop, it tastes like if you're around a lot of live chickens. My brother got the brisket. It was the worst he's ever had too. He said it was chewy and lack flavor. They might be cutting costs because the economy is bad. I notice a large portion of their menu was covered up or dishes crossed out. Even the beverages got cut! You can only get like 3 different beverages which are ovaltine, coffee, and something else. They even cut out lemon ice tea. They're a mom and pop shop and it would be sad if they're out of business because of that reason, but the food was unfortunately not good. Service was really good though, but we were the only ones there majority of the time we were dining. The price for the hainan chicken was about $17, brisket was about the same. I don't remember the exact amount. Just listing that here because Yelp's prices are way off. Could be old pricing from a while ago.

New Location, Same Curiosity!…read more Decided to give this newer location a try since our first visit to Golden Delight was years ago. I wanted to try their rice noodle soup with a mix of egg noodles and rice noodles, and let me just say... the picture speaks a thousand words. What arrived looked quite different from what was advertised on the menu. Although most of the ingredients were there, it definitely wasn't as pretty or as generously presented as the photos. Rice Noodle Soup (Egg Noodles + Rice Noodles Mixed) Rating: 6.8/10 The soup itself actually wasn't bad! The broth was light, clean, and nicely seasoned without being too heavy. While I enjoyed trying something different, it isn't a dish I'd order again on my next visit. Now let me warn you about their sauté sauce... It is PACKED with flavor but also seriously spicy! I made the mistake of adding a little too much to my noodle soup, and let's just say my taste buds definitely woke up. A little goes a long way, so add it slowly! The restaurant itself is very modern, clean, and has a trendy fusion vibe that makes for a nice dining experience. As much as I appreciate the updated atmosphere, I always find myself gravitating back toward the more traditional, authentic-style Vietnamese restaurants when I'm craving comfort food. Service Unfortunately, the service on our Sunday visit was probably the biggest downside. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and didn't seem interested in explaining the menu when we had a few questions. Instead, she came across as if she was in a rush the entire time, and her overall attitude felt a bit off-putting. It honestly made us feel like we were inconveniencing her just by asking questions. Great service can really elevate a meal, and unfortunately, this experience did the opposite. Between that and the food, it's another reason I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return to this location. Overall, it was a nice spot to try once, but next time I'll probably explore a different dish--and maybe a different location. Happy eats!
