The best place for pho ga! This will cure anything and everything you have and satisfy all cravings! The clean fresh broth is comforting and the noodles are always fresh. Ive probably been to this place over 20 times and haven't reviewed it yet! The workers are kind and everything comes out quick and steaming. Usually the large is too much for me so I'll stick with the regular small size.

To go (covid-19). LARGE pho ga. It was okay

Cash only. Wow. This place is possibly the worse pho ga spot I've ever been to. I hate to say this but it was (without exaggeration) watered down tasteless broth. On top of this, the flat noodles were very low quality where they break easily and were not "silky" like fresh noodles should be. The chicken was good albeit extremely stingy. When you ask for a large, it is $1 more. Sorry but no.

Not sure why this spot has such low ratings. I have a pretty ok experience. The restaurant doesn't look super clean but there was literally a lady cleaning the whole time we were there. The food was good (as expected) since we ordered half a chicken and sides of rice and noodles. And the Banh cuon was delish!! I'm actually thinking abt it again right now lol the ladies that work there were super nice and attentive with everything.

Pho ga is one of my favorite comfort foods. We came for dinner today as a family of 6. This place used to be busier but it was pretty empty when we went. I ordered a large bowl of noodles to split with the hubs, and also a whole chicken to split with the fam. The noodle soup wasn't hot enough and also tasted a little bland, but I still really enjoyed it. The chicken had a lot of small bones that I had to keep spitting out. They are pretty generous with the sauce portions. Overall a pretty decent pho ga place that I wouldn't mind going again.

Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 The poached chicken was cooked just right -- tender, juicy, and pleasantly bouncy without being tough. The ginger-scallion sauce was fragrant and well-balanced, and I highly recommend pairing the chicken with their pho noodles and broth. The broth has a clean, savory depth with just the right level of saltiness, and the rice noodles are incredibly smooth and silky, which really elevates the whole dish. Even though the shop is quite busy, the staff are friendly and attentive, and service remains efficient -- after placing our order, the wait time was about 15 minutes, which felt very reasonable. If you only take the chicken home on its own, you may find the seasoning a bit light, since it's meant to be enjoyed together with the soup and noodles. As a full combo, though, everything comes together beautifully and feels comforting and satisfying.

    Delicious Pho Ga!

I was in the mood for some good hot chicken soup on this chilly marine layer morning and the delicious pho ga served here filled that need perfectly. The broth was very tasty and the poached chicken was great albeit big chunks. On the side, were bean sprouts, jalapeno slices and a wonderful gingery dipping sauce. The ladies were very friendly and gracious. The place looked clean and attended to. I left feeling full and happy. Looking forward to coming back and trying more things!

What's up: In the mood for pho? How about chicken pho? This is the place to get just that since they're famous for having really good chicken! Parking: Located in Mission Village, parking is shared among the nearby businesses. A lot of spots are small/compact, so keep an eye out or you might not fit lol. Environment: We were seated and given menus upon arrival. Lucky us, we came right before the dinner crowd. Tea is complementary when dining in. The place was nice and had a large mural on the side of the wall. What was ordered: - Egg Rolls (good) - Pho Ga (chicken is really good) - Pho Tai Ga (mix of beef and chicken) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Overall, the food was good. Chicken was not dry at all and very good. Staff members were friendly. Credit cards are accepted.

Broth was amazing and cleansing. Much lighter than beef pho. Chicken was very tender like Hainan style. Service was fast and attentive. Ambiance was great with the massive art work depicting the hustle bustle culture of Vietnam.

Delicious vermicelli chicken noodles here! Chicken is tender and the broth is flavorful. The owners are also very friendly.

Pretty solid and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food came out quick and was good! The bun rieu was flavorful and light- not too salty. The small was just the right size. The banh cuon was good as well but I wish the filling had more protein.

Pho Ga - small size. comes with delicious dipping sauce for the chicken

BEST PHO GA IN LOS ANGELES.. PERIODT. If you're looking for the best bowl of chicken pho, this is your spot. The broth is SO overwhelmingly delicious - it's clearly been brewed for long periods of time. You can taste the high quality chicken in the soup (it has a slight herbal taste, pretty sure they use game hen/high quality chicken). It comes with the slightly wider, fresh pho noodles (not the thin kind you usually see) which is another bonus. Love how soft and delicious the fresh kind of pho noodles taste. Although I typically get beef pho when craving pho, that's not because I like it much more than chicken pho. It's because it's just so much harder to find legit chicken pho since it seems to be less sought out in the los angeles greater area. Besides their chicken pho, I've only ordered 1 other item - appetizer #10: Banh Cuon Tom Thit (steamed pork and shrimp rice noodle wraps with side of meatloaf). This was actually really good too - the rice noodles are thin and you can taste the freshness (not old rice noodles). There's a decent amount of pork & shrimp pieces within the rice rolls (but don't expect a huge chunk, because this dish isn't meant to have a massive amount of meats). Pho Ga - 10/10 Banh Cuon Tom Thit - 9/10 CASH ONLY!!! Bring yo cash and eat some delicious pho ga!

We put our names down for two and were seated within about 10 minutes, then received our food within five minutes of ordering. Service was super fast and efficient, and the restaurant seems very well run. There's a small parking lot in front, and we got lucky enough to grab a spot as someone was leaving. We ordered the Com Tam #40 and Banh Beo, and the biggest thing that stood out to me was the portion sizes. They are MASSIVE. These are probably some of the biggest portions I've personally seen at a Vietnamese restaurant, especially for the price. Even looking around at the soups and other dishes people were ordering, everything seemed consistently huge. We definitely ordered too much food for two people! The Com Tam was pretty good overall. I especially enjoyed the tau hu ky and cha, and the soup on the side was really tasty too. The thit nuong was good, although I've had versions I personally prefer elsewhere. It might not be the best com tam I've ever had, but I do think it's one of the best options in the area and a very solid choice if you're craving it. The Banh Beo was also good and came on a much larger plate than I'm used to, although I've had more memorable banh beo at other spots. Nothing we had was bad by any means, and I enjoyed the meal overall. I had a great experience at Com Tam Kieu and would absolutely come back. Next time I really want to try one of their soups, and I'll definitely be much more prepared for how generous the portions are!

The first thing that caught my attention was that they had a limited menu for a Pho place which tells me that these are the best dishes that they make at home that they want their customers to try! So I saw that they had Pho Ga so I had to try it. OMG!! It was so delish, the broth was well seasoned and balanced, great amount of chicken and they had this side condiment of ginger, fish sauce, lime dipping sauce that just added so much depth and umami Either you can pour this dipping sauce to your Pho or what I did was dipped my chicken and slurpped it down with my noodles and broth and it was BOMB!! Then they have crab meat egg roll which was also very good but could have added just a tinge of saltiness to just make it a home run!! Service was quick, few tables inside and will definitely come back here again and try the other Bun Bo Hue and hainan chicken. So if you're around SGV, this is a must try Pho place!!

The broth is perfectly seasoned and really ties the whole bowl together. I always ask to skip the blood cubes and opt for extra pig's feet instead, which they handle perfectly. It had lots of noodles and toppings: tripe, rare beef, tendon, meat balls, and brisket. Pho was really rich in flavor. I also loved that the sizzling pots kept the broth hot the whole time. Noodles were also very bouncy, loved the texture. Beef short ribs were also very tender and full of flavor. Although it was very busy during a Tuesday lunch hour, the waiters sat us asap. So yeah, it's another Vietnamese spot in Rosemead. And before you say anything -- yes, it's a pho review. Again. Look, I don't make the rules, I just eat the soup. This place does something a little different though. Their thing is the earth stone bowl -- basically a heated stone bowl that keeps your broth stupid hot while all your toppings come on the side in separate little dishes. Cool concept, very extra, I respect the commitment. But here's the thing -- it was hot outside. Like uncomfortably, aggressively, why-am-I-outside hot. So sweating over a volcanic bowl of soup wasn't exactly on my agenda. I went with the regular bowl, picked two types of beef and tendon, and called it a day. First sip of the broth and I genuinely had to put the spoon down for a second. Not in a dramatic way -- just in a "okay, this is actually really good" kind of way. It holds up against every other spot I've been to, no question. But what got me was the flavor -- there's something subtle going on in there that's hard to put your finger on but impossible to ignore. The kind of broth that just works and doesn't need to explain itself. The toppings were solid, but the tendon was lowkey the highlight. Soft, chewy, not rubbery -- exactly what you want. Some places fumble the tendon. These guys didn't. Iced tea on the side, Saturday afternoon, nothing else going on -- honestly doesn't get much better than that. Should've come here sooner. My loss.
