Show me quality banh mi and it's on like Donkey Kong. The Vietnamese sandwiches here are worthy of your love. Fresh vegetables, moist slices of meat, and pickles on a crispy baguette make up these delectable delights. Order a bunch to go - they're hardly expensive - and in no time flat they'll be ready. The kitchen's that good.

The sandwiches were dry and lacked flavor. The fresh spring roll tasted at least a day or two old and was bland even with the sauce. We ended up throwing the majority of it away. I feel like with so many good reviews that maybe we just went on an "off day" for them? We have no plans on returning here.

Visiting from Los Angeles, I was recommended to try this Banh Mi spot by this Vietnamese girl who claims it was the best she's ever eaten! So I had to try it even tho it was an one hour metro ride away!! My thoughts? The sandwich was pretty good, lots of flavor, lots of carrots/veggies (which is a a huge plus)... but I still love my banh mi sandwiches in Los Angeles more! Service was quick and easy! I would only come back if I was near by the area, but wouldn't trek one hr metro ride just to eat it!

I like banh mi sandwiches....we get these back home a lot. But somehow the ones here taste different...good different. Perhaps it's the baguette? The ingredients? We came here to grab a light bite on our last day in paris. Having a Vietnamese sandwich in Paris was on my to-do list and this one had one of the better reviews. It's a take away place, service is quick and the sandwiches are delicious. We both had the special pork sandwich super plus! Haha back home, the small sandwiches are not very filling so not knowing what to expect here we just went with the bigger portion option for €3,30 instead of €2,70. Btw, super plus doesn't mean a bigger baguette, it just means they add more filling. Just like the banh mi places back home, there's a bunch of older Vietnamese ladies working here preparing all the sandwiches. But these ladies here speak both French and English. The baguettes seem denser, almost seems like they hollow out the soft breading part which is much better! The pork was tasty, the pickled carrots are really good and spicy, they don't add a lot of mayo sauce, which is perfect because I hate when they douse it with sauce. I was probably in way over my head with the super plus as I couldn't finish my sandwich. The beau of course had no problems inhaling the entire thing.

Hands down one of the better Vietnamese bahn mi sandwich in town. Also has a veggie tofu option. Take out only.

We tried the jambon sandwich and chicken baguette, paired with a golden ale beer and coffee. Both sandwiches were outstanding--freshly made with incredible bread, generous fillings, and a perfect balance of textures. The strong cheese they offer on the side is a must; it pairs beautifully with the sandwiches, and the staff even lets you try it before deciding, which is a great touch. We did go around 2pm and unfortunately the pastrami was already sold out, which speaks to how popular it is. We also waited about 30-40 minutes in line, but it moved steadily and didn't feel too painful. We were lucky to find a spot to dine in, though most people grab their food to go. Service was friendly and quick despite the constant rush. The atmosphere is more grab-and-go than sit-down, with very limited indoor seating. Most people take their sandwiches to enjoy at a nearby park, which actually adds to the experience. Be prepared for a queue, but it moves faster than expected--and the payoff is absolutely worth it for what might be the best sandwich in the city.

These sandwiches are curated, edible pieces of art made with love by the one and only Alain. It's easy to see why they're so popular. People love the sandwiches so much that his stall inside Marche' Des Efants Rouges can see lines lasting upwards of an hour or more. And people stay in the line. We lucked out and only had to wait about twenty minutes. I tell you, I'd wait all day if need be. I often dream of the sandwiches we had and can't wait to have them again. A picture is worth a thousand words and therefore, my photos can tell you everything you need to know about how good the sandwiches were. It makes me smile when I look at the pic of us with Alain. What a wonderful human being producing wonderful food for the people.

I whipped out Yelp and noticed that I had Happy Caffe bookmarked. I'm not sure how it landed in my collection, but the reviews were excellent thought it would be a good option for lunch - so off we went. Happy sits right on the street - it's a super small space with barely any room inside and several tables outside on the sidewalk. They did a good job making room for us - I have to say they mastered the art of optimizing what little space they have but even still be prepared for a tight fit. The menu has a selection of baked good, crepes, and sandwiches. We asked the employee working behind the counter what they recommended and he suggested the kebab panini as he sells many of them every day. We decided to each get one, which was served promptly. The sandwich wasn't my favorite - the chicken seemed a little off, and it wasn't that tasty. I wouldn't say it was awful, but I also wouldn't order it again. Looking back, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing (despite it being recommended to me). I'm puzzled by all these 5-star reviews - maybe the crepes are better? Two stars for the friendly and attentive service, but I would bypass this spot next time I'm in Paris.

Charcuterie did come with good presentation like wood board or anything but it was a good portion. I didn't read the menu closely and ordered charcuterie as soon as saw it. I wanted to have some cheese with it. I should have ordered assiette royale which comes with both meat and cheese. I also ordered Andrea which comes with burrata. It was great with salad and lemon shavings but anchovies were pretty salty. I suggest to eat it with some kind of bread. Between that two orders, I was stuffed and couldn't even finish it. Honestly it was meant for 3 to 4 people. One of the employees speak English and she was very nice. Overall experience was great and good spot to hang out.

We sat outside at one of their small table on the street. It reminded me of eating street foods in Asia; except this is in Paris. Service was good but could be better if they can explain us what to order on their menu. I liked the Burrata which was creamy with tangy salad and anchovies. It was a great appetizer for us. Charcuterie came with a paper box in to-go or take-out style. It had variety of cured meat slices. Meats had good flavors, textures, tastes from salty to spicy and tangy from lemon slices. It was good to pair with Burrata. Recommend this place in Paris!
