Easy breezy! I was in and out. Just here to submit my application for the new AZ travel ID. I would suggest doing the application online first and screenshot the barcode if you can't print it off. Once that's done it's just a matter or getting your pic taken and taking a quick vision test. Then you go up to the counter to show your documents and give them your barcode so they can sign and fill out their portion. FYI if your a veteran and you want it known on your new ID you will need your DD214 or your veterans ID card. It doesn't mention this on the main DMV site. You get a paper temp ID and then in 7 to 14 days you have your new card in the mail. Oh! And if you come here you will pay more for the new ID because wit 3rd party vs $25 at the DMV. I paid $55! Wish I had known. But the whole experience was painless. On the DMV website you can schedule an appointment so you don't have to wait. I was busy so I needed to get this done ASAP. Came here on a Tuesday at 10am....nobody here and i was in and out in a flash! I got a few documents notarized ($2 each) and some replacement tags ($10). So glad this is near. me. I know I could have done it all for free or less by other venues but small price to pay for no waiting/convenience. read more

Hahahahah this place is garbage!! It's the DMV, it's going to be busy I know but it took them 1 hour to call 2 people!! They have two people working the windows and 30 people in the lobby. Like you guys know you are busy every single day. Hire more people. I didn't see one employee cleaning anything and they were helping people who weren't wearing mask. ANYONE READING THIS I highly recommended driving to phx. They have a 3rd part dmv on central and baseline that has better prices, cleaner, AND a lot faster. I'm usually pretty fair with my reviews and I try to see both sides since I help customers everyday but on this one I had to give them 1star. The manager Jeffrey or Jeff requested trust documents for a title that was already notarized because he wanted to "make sure" the person that signed the title was a trustee which is the most ridiculous and stupidest thing he could ask for ( and he shared he was a notary) the job of the notary is to make sure the person who signed the title is authorized and to witness the signature being completed on their presence I explained. If for any reason there's an issue or a discrepancy that notary's bond will pay for any costs associated with it ( I explained to him) he continues to tell me that it was DMV's policy to get copies of the trust. I called DVM directly and guess what ? I was right. Why is the manager Jeff I charge ? Who gave him a notary stamp if he doesn't know the rules? If he just doesn't want to help he can just say so. He needs to do research before he sits in the big chair calling the shots because obviously he doesn't know what he's doing. read more

Racist, and very unprofessional! If you speak English they are very rude. We brought in a title and they said the signatures didn't match when they clearly do! It was the same guy! The first one was in the wrong spot so I had to go back and get the guy to sign it in a different spot!! Like why would I forge it, it makes no sense!! Went to DMV and had no issues. Bull. read more

This location moved to Alma School road. Horrible service. There's one guy doing the majority of work while the other 3 ladies keep taking breaks. Literally watched one employee fan herself at the window for 5 minutes, help one person, took another 10 minute smoke break, came back to the window & fanned herself, didn't help anybody this time & just disappeared. Everyone knows the whole point to going go a third party DMV is to get better faster service for a little extra money. Honestly this place is just as bad as a DMV, just not as many people. I have been here for an hour now and just now finished getting a temporary ID which only took me 15 min at a differant location 3 weeks earlier(I had my wallet stolen which is why im back here in the first place). Obviously they are very under staffed with only one person who can actually help anyone with what they came here for. I dont feel this was worth the extra money because I could have gotten the same service at the DMV. I would reccomend you not to waste your time and money here!! read more

i don't care what the other reviews may say this place is great! i have been here twice. i went a week earlier to do a road test for a drivers license and they were not doing a road test that day so the girl helping us said we could come back tomorrow to her same window and skip the line! we ended up returning a week later due to scheduling issues but we made it. we got there around noon (many of the reviews said they don't recommend going to the office around lunchtime as they would be short-staffed then for the workers who were on lunch break) and yes, it was busy, however the wait was not too long and there were plenty of staff members on duty to serve everyone there. the girl Rosie, who instructed my 3-point turn test as well as my driving test was super kind and professional. i felt bad that it was really hot outside and she was wearing her mask but she still remained very happy and calm and instructed everything perfectly for me. she answered all the questions i had and i passed! for the test on my 3-point turn i was allowed a few minutes of practice time while Rosie had another road test before mine.. so i don't know if you will be allowed practice time unless there are other kids ahead of you in line for it and the instructor is busy. the turn is not difficult and the cones are placed in the width of what a parking spot would be if you're wondering. for the actual road test of driving on a main road she had me do both left and right turns, there were stop signs of course, we also went through a neighborhood for a very brief amount of the test. the only thing i was marked down for was turning left instead of right outside the parking lot at the beginning, but it was my fault since i confused myself, however she let me return to where i was and do the right turn correctly. i recommend this location to anyone doing a road test the staff is professional and they aren't going to roll their eyes at you. read more

Huge compliments to the staff of the Alma School Rd location. They were not only faced with the extra traffic and restrictions from the pandemic, but also dealing with the state's system upgrade not working. Their systems were fine, but the state's new system so far is an epic fail. The store was slammed and had no control over the system.We went in for a first driver's license, the state told us to go to third party because the regular MVD was not issuing new licenses or road tests for drivers under 18 during the pandemic. People were waiting 5 hours or more to get their licenses. The staff was kind, cheerful, professional, kept us informed, and ultimately got us out the door with a license. I watched some customers being helped for hours as they tried repeatedly to get the system to take their applications. The staff was kind, understanding in tone, and ultimately very professional. With everything that is going on in this world, they not only worked super hard to get my kid her license, but I watched them go above and beyond with all of the other kids that were there waiting. A license may not be the most important thing in the world right now, but it was awesome to see them work so hard to help these kids get one piece of a normal 16th birthday rite of passage. My daughter took her drivers test here and failed twice. They focused on semantics with her driving like she failed to signal into a parking space and she was automatically failed for "running a red light" even though the proctor said the back tires were passed the crosswalk when it turned red. we went to take her test for the third time a regular dmv and she asked her proctor if those were reasons for an automatic fail or to lose points and they responded no and that it was unreasonable. i don't recommend third party dmvs for drivers tests it's incredibly expensive, for example attempt #1 is 75$ and the second and third try are $25 each. read more

When you call they say they're open until 8pm. What they neglect to tell you is they stop printing IDs after 7pm. Drove 15 miles with family in tow to get AZ IDs for traveling purposes. Young kid behind the counter was an arrogant jerk, telling me he was sure whoever I spoke with on the phone told me they stopped printing IDs an hour before closing. As far as I'm concerned don't post your hours or available services if you're not willing to honor it. I'll give my money to another company. read more

I experienced the worst service I've ever had at a DMV here... and that's saying a lot. Not only did I wait 40+ min to be helped in an almost empty establishment but I also was told I couldn't be helped because the ID printing machines were down. Took our 16 yr old to get her drivers license. It was so much better than the regular DMV. There was one person in the waiting room. They called our number right away. Without an appointment, we walked in, were seen right away, did the driving test, and walked out in less than an hour! The people were so thorough and efficient and really nice to work with. I would refer anyone to take their driving test here. It costs a little more than the regular DMV, but with NO stress or waiting. Well worth it! read more
