Very disappointed with my experience at this DMV. The work on my brothers driving test was not completed correctly, which resulted in unnecessary delays and inconvenience ( by employee David).I had to spend additional time trying to fix mistakes that should have been handled properly the first time. I understand errors can happen, but I expected more attention to detail and professionalism. Had to argue for a refund with the manger ( jazmine) . By the way to file a complaint they have a P.O. It was much faster than ADOT. No waiting in lines. In and out within 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and most were also Bilingual.

Went here to get drivers test and it was super expensive. Didn't pass first try so I had to go again and pay $35. They failed me again for the dumbest reasons like my stops saying they had to be longer but they first time I took the test they told me my stops were too long. I stopped at every stop and was overly cautious but still failed and they are telling me to go again and pay again. Not to mention the instructor I took the test with the first time was super rude and judgy. read more

*Beware* they purposefully find Stupid ridiculous reasons to fail you on the road test. "When you stop count to 3 then move Up to the line then go" Who does that? Don't take a nice car when doing the road test. The guy made a comment to my 16yr old son about the car he was using for his road test. He had already decided before the test even started that he wasn't going to pass him. They told him to come back the next day to retake the test and you have to pay again. Will definitely be using the MVD even if I have to wait a bit longer. read more

The staffs are unfriendly, customers were treated like car theft even with the original title, and bank notarized bill of sale. Their operation is very inefficient and not user friendly. I called here to get info on what I need to register my car I just bought and spoke with Laurie. She answered all my questions and even told me a way I could check if and when a car had an emissions test on the emissions website. When I got to your office to do the title transfer I was pleasantly surprised when I was assured I had what I needed to do the transaction. After weeks of banging my head against the wall someone suggested 3rd. party MVD and I will forever be grateful. Amanda (within 5 minutes) sent me forms and all the information I needed to get a transfer done on a mobile home. Then even after I bugged her beyond the norm... she maintained a pleasant, helpful attitude! I am in Hawaii and the problem (and my S.I.L) are in Arizona so NOTHING was working. This place is freaking awesome. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted with a smile, a helping hand at figuring out how to pull a number. I never have to wait to talk to someone for longer than two minutes. When I do get to a window every single person is SOOO nice and sweet and helpful. My driving instructor brought me here for the test, and I understand that it's meant to be convenient, it comes at a cost and a pretty hefty one. While a driving test costs just costs around 12$ at an MVD, and you have three tries, they charge you around 45$ for the first one and then 25$ for each extra attempt!! That's all fine and I'm glad I got done with my license in my 2nd attempt albeit with 70$ lesser in my pocket. However when my license came in the mail, it had an expiration date just after 6 months!! So my license was issued in Aug '17 and it was going to expire in March '18. When I went again to have this fixed, they said that they have all the documents where they meant to put the expiration as March '20 but for some reason that they don't know, it's March '18. And according to them "since my expiration is less than 6 months away, I would have to renew it for another 30$". If I have to renew I would rather renew it from another place for less than half of the price. Never going back here again though. read more

I just relocated to Mesa, from out of state, and was trying to get my driver's license, and vehicle registration taken care of. The MVS, closest to my house, requires you to make an appointment . I called the number, for that location twice, and there were three hundred people ahead of me, both times. I decided to go to the "third party" location, on Main St. in Mesa, and I'm so glad I did. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE The employees at this location are rude and disrespectful. I went to their location on Greenfield Road, waited for an hour, only to be told I had to go to a different location. I went to 1801 E Main Street, took a number, WAITED over an hour, only to be told I had to come back tomorrow because the employees who do MH titles were gone for the day. These people could not care less about serving the public. They do not deserve to be a third party MVD provider. I intend to complain to ADOT. read more

I've been using their services for over 15 years and have never had a problem with attitude or work ethic. I've always gotten my needs taken care of as soon as possible depending on the crowd. I have been here twice in the past two months. It looks a little like a dump but they get the job done in a decent amount of time.

The worst wait times I've seen. So many employees hanging out talking instead of taking more customers. When they finally help, most are rude...just like a real ADOT MVD I guess. Wish I had a closer 3rd party that I can go to instead. read more

I have come to this place three times to register and get a plate for three different trailers for my company. Every time I come in it's a different price. First time $120 second time $179 third time $849. Are you kidding me? I will never come here again. This place has the worst customer service possible. Don't waste your time. Oh yeah did I mention that all 3 trailers are identical in size and weight and price, but for some reason there is a discrepancy on the cost of the plates/registration, to the tune of $700. Especially loved how the lady got super defensive and told me the other people did it wrong. Update 12/15/17: I went to the DMV on Greenfield and US 60. They told me that the person at Third Party MVS was trying to register the trailer as a commercial trailer over 10,000 pounds. This is why it was so expensive. However this trailer is only 3000 pounds. It cost me $62.20 to register for 1 year and get a plate for this trailer at the DMV. There was also no wait and I was actually in and out in less than 30 minutes. Bye bye, Third Party MVS. Never again. read more

Came on a Saturday afternoon for a new driver's license - the office is fairly clean and quiet. I was surprised to see that it wasn't busy. Their process for obtaining a license is still a little shaky but I got out unscathed in less than 15 minutes. Be advised, there is currently lots of construction on main. So getting to the office was a little harder than anticipated. read more

Everyone here is super friendly! We had some problems getting the title of our car transferred because of moving from out of state & changing to my married last name. I wish I would have come here last week when we had to change the title & registration from my dad to us instead of going to the DMV, where I was at for over 3 hours. I probably would have been in and out within a half hr from this place without feeling aggravated. My husband and I came in to renew his driver's license because he got an extension from Immigration on his stay here while they process his application. We came prepared with the letter stating the 1 year extension, his Green Card, his driver's license. I called a couple days ago to find out if they did driver's licensing for his case, the cost, and what documentation we needed, so we were prepared. There were not many people on Veteran's Day late morning at this place, but there were a few. We didn't realize we had to check in and get a number at a little are not too far from the entrance. We thought you get your number at the counter, so we probably would have be done quicker than the half hour, rather instead maybe 20 minutes. Our error. The guy at the check in area was very nice, courteous, professional. He told us what we needed to do, had my husband get his picture taken, and take an eye exam. No issues. After that, we filled out the form he gave us to renew the license and sat & waited maybe 10 minutes until our number was called. The guy that helped us at counter #5 was really nice. No issues. Within 10 minutes, we were completed and my husband was able to get a temporary license until he gets it in the mail. We paid $10 for the convenience of this place and the renewal license for him was $10, so a total of $20. It was worth the extra $10 because my husband didn't have to take off time from work to do this and wait a long time at DMV as he has done the other 5 times he's had to get his license since he's been in the U.S. the past 3 years. When he gets his Permanent Resident card within the next year, we will come back to this place to get a longer termed driver's license. Every person we dealt with, which were 3 different people, they were all courteous, professional, friendly. I believe at the time we were there, there were either 3-4 counters opened and I did not see how many counters there were, but it was at least 8. It was not busy there, though. read more

Took an hour to get my husband's Az ID Travel license and was charged $77.00. I went to MVD since I didn't want to pay that much and it only took 20 mins and cost $25. Rip off. Was told that 3rd party should only charge $20-25. They charge $45 fee. Rip off. read more

A couple of weeks ago I went in to this location and the lady said I needed a 3 point inspection. I was able to get an appointment in two weeks. The lady at DMV said that my title was already salvaged in California and since the tests are the Same I didn't need another inspection. Today I had a know it all that that told me "that policy doesn't exist". I went to DVM off of Juanita Dr off of Greenfield.
