I lost the title on the car (and later found it, but too late!). This was very convenient, and service was prompt. However, you will be through the nose for the services. A $4 title cost $16. I can accept paying for convenience, but a 400% mark-up is excessive. So I cannot in good conscience rate any higher. However, if I had a need and was willing to pay for it, they were efficient. Despite the poor reviews I came to in and out to get my motor cycle title and registration. Jay who was working the window was very personable and helpful! He did a great job working the counter and even multitasked taking calls and helping customers since they were a staff member down. There was a $18 convenience fee but I mentioned yelp and got a $3 dollar discount. Well worth the time I saved rather waiting in line at the DMV. I certainly will use this place in the future and appreciate the good service. Looks like they have been making some positive changes. Thanks for the help and doing a great job Jay!! I called a lady answered and I asked if she could give me an estimate on what I would need to pay for vehicle registration and she said I'd have to come in. I said well I'm trying to save time, couldn't I just give you basic info over the phone that you'd look at when I come in and she said NO. You need to come in sir. Aren't title offices like this around so we don't have to deal with the MVD attitudes, I guess she was hired from an MVD office. Anyways she was rude because she wasn't willing to help me, so I said then if you can't do that for me ill call and take my business elsewhere, her response: that's fine. I thought business's actually needed customers to stay in business. Mmmh not sure this place has figured that out. Terrible Update. I just called another title place (baseline and lindsay)and. This is the 3rd time I have wasted my time at this location. In the past they claimed my paperwork was not complete or incorrect only to go to AZ MVD and everything was ok. This time they argued with me and I was correct. I recently purchased an ATV that came from Colorado which prior to 2014 is a no title state for ATVs. The quad is a 2005 purchased new never titled. They treated me in front of other customers as if I was trying to defraud the system somehow and embarrassed me. I called the state of Colorado re-verified that it was not titled, and was never titled in the state of Colorado. I took my paperwork to another motor vehicle registration service and had no problem. I called the owner he wanted to argue with me as well that I need a title again they were incorrect. When the owner sees this below us a photo of the regulation. If you're going to service the public at least you need to do the research or be correct. There is an old saying the customer is always right. At least research it. While I heeded the negative reviews I'm glad I gave In & Out a try. My husband & I had a great experience on Monday 1/4 at 9:30 am. We just drove our cars from the emissions testing at the chandler airport (that was also an easy breezy service!). The DMV in Chandler was a dreaded experience last week (2hrs to get temporary licenses surrounded by a bunch of literally sick/coughing/sneezing folks! ) so this time we wanted the convenience (& what we perceive to be a healthier mental & physical experience) of using third party services.... In & Out lived up to their name! We were in & out fast! We were assisted by Jay at the counter who was excellent! There was no wait time at all - we walked right in & Jay immediately greeted us with a smile & a "happy new year". We had to register 2 out of state vehicles - 1 with a title & the other without (still has a lien-holder on it in CA). The only document we personally had to complete was a signature on the credit card receipt to pay for registration fees (we each opted to register for 2years). To my pleasant surprise - There was no need for us to complete anything else - not even the lengthy & confusing MVD registration application that I had downloaded from MVD online - Jay did it all right from his computer. We just needed to show our emissions form, title if applicable, and our drivers licenses (the temporary we received the week before was sufficient). It took between 5-7 min for each of the registrations (mine was a little longer due to the fact I was also changing my title from CA to AZ). We walked out with new AZ plates in hand & my hubby was even happier that he was able to get his special Freedom plate issued on the spot! PS - they have a Nice selection of plates to choose from, too. PSS - While we were there, 2 others also came in & I observed that they were greeted & assisted by the other service reps just as friendly & fast as we were by Jay. The service fee was well worth the convenience & exceptional service we received with In & Out title. After reading so many mixed reviews of this place I felt it important to share my very positive & unbiased experience. read more
