I was really looking forward to this coffee shop as I planned it for a stop in a day out with my husband. We walked in and there was already a line. We got in line to wait. There were two employees, a guy and a girl, behind the counter. I did not see or hear them acknowledge a single customer in the line or seated in the cafe; they were just talking and laughing together. Two more customers walked in and got in line. Still the two employees were only focused on each other. Needless to say my husband was not impressed and we left. Even as we walked out it did not seem to phase the two employees. Sad. read more

We found this a very charming coffee shop and the folks were more than hospitable to us. We are from out of town, so we don't know about the other bad reviews. All I can say is what we experienced and it was very pleasant. The coffees hubby and I got were some of the best we've had in our travels, so we would recommend this comfortable coffee shop to others. read more

What a delightful spot. We had just finished hiking to Wahclella Falls and needed a little pick me up before getting back on the road to Portland. I don't think I have ever had a more delicious coffee in my life. They have all the milk alternatives and syrup options. Good drip coffee and espresso drinks. The Mocha and Mama Mia were both tasty. Food was surprisingly good for not being a real kitchen. Biscuits and gravy had lots of sausage in gravy and nice fresh biscuits. Breakfast burrito looked a bit small, but was hot and filling. I had it with chorizo, which was nice. read more

Maybe it's a good idea if you don't understand what the customer is saying exactly to clarify it with them before making them wait for 15 minutes for a drink they didn't order and didn't want. Best coffee we have ever had on the road and that is saying a lot considering we LOVE coffee and we travel-a lot! We ordered the non dairy chai tea, regular mochas, an americano and a nondairy latte. All were truly made to perfection, although the chai was a bit sweet for us. They had a generous selection of pastry options, including moist (not dry) gluten free cupcakes and none of the items disappointed...Next time I would ask to have them warmed just a bit. Truly a hidden gem! What else? Super clean with the perfect amount of genuinely cute items to peruse for sale and whole bean coffee too! Truly reminiscent of the old real coffee house feel that is inviting and conversationally comfortable with fast and authentically friendly service. Such a cute little shop. The first visit the coffee was amazing. I got a cinnamon vanilla latte. The next day a different person was working and the coffee was just alright. Sadly, 20 oz only had 2 shots so I had to pay extra for that. The cinnamon roll was very delicious. Overall I would go back when I'm in the area again. read more

By far the best coffee shop our family has ever been to. Walking distance from our motel. My dad and I came this morning for coffee and got the vanilla lattes, we came back about 20 minutes later for breakfast burritos. We ended up crossing over The Bridge of The Gods and came back again!! 3 visits to this coffee shop within a couple of hours. The BEST we've ever had. Starbucks cannot even compare. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The owner was so friendly and kind. She was so cool!!! This place is a must. If I could give it more stars I would. She even gave our dog a treat! read more

Disgusting. ----Does NOT follow health codes. The barista encourages people to come into the shop without a mask(before they have ordered, or are consuming a beverage/food). The barista did not keep her mask on the entire time will making my beverage. I could not try the beverage because it is a health hazard and restaurants/cafes are required to have the employees crafting the beverage or food to wear a mask. Cute cafe, seems popular. Staff wasn't very friendly. I ordered avocado toast with no cheese on it due to dairy allergy. When I got the toast it had feta all over it. Also ordered a iced matcha, and it tasted like water. My partner had a similar experience with their coffee. I've been here twice now and the service is very friendly which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I have ran into a couple problems though: 1.) latte was served at 220 degrees...couldn't drink it, even without a lid, until about 25 minutes later. 2.) all of the americanos are different prices even though they all come with 2 shots. The barista said the price differences are due to more water and cup size...not a thing. 3.) my daughter ordered a Frappuccino and it took a solid 15 minutes to get. They served another person's blended drink before ours and that customer came in after us. They have one blender...makes zero sense. The barista apologized and said she couldn't get ours right. I work at a coffee shop in Hood River and when a drink takes way too long for whatever reason, I offer a discount or a future free drink. read more

Charged me a dollar more than the sign unless they charged me for the cream or something, and I added a $1 tip as well. (their lowest tip option) So $5 dollars for a barely warm drip coffee.
