My boyfriend and I came here to get some dinner after snowboarding all day, and WOW!! We're not from here so we just looked up places to eat. This popped up and so glad it did!! I got the southwestern burger with loaded cheeseburger fries and he got the philly burger with cheeseburger fries. There was not a crumb left on the plate; they were amazing! We tried eachothers burgers too and they were equally as amazing. Service was great too! I'm very picky with burgers and was hesitant when he was persistent to go here. Tucked between the Shenandoah and Massanutten mountains, this spot has a fun, laid-back beach vibe that feels like a mini getaway without leaving the valley. The service was excellent--genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they care about the experience just as much as the food. We tried the burgers, fries, and buffalo wings, and everything was delicious. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the wings had just the right amount of heat and crunch. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. The servers we had were really nice and the owner was really quick too! There is only outdoor seating so when we wentin the summer it was warm but there is a fair amount of nicely shaded seating. The burger I ordered was the Southwest burger and my fiance ordered the Rock. I liked my burger a lot and they are very generous with the amount of pickled jalapeños which I appreciate. It wasn't spicy to me but I enjoyed it a lot. My fiance thought the burger he got was a bit salty but he still enjoyed it. I'm going to kick this review off with a bang. The Sour Apple Margarita is amazing and just like its name states, SOUR. The food is made to order and fresh. In this case, it takes a minute to make, but they warn you up front that this is not fast food. The staff is friendly and responsive. Took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive and it was hot. So worth it and yummy. Nice little place with great taste. Dinning is outside, with a bar patio ambiance. Great place, and if you're in the area, it's worth the stop. read more

Went to Massanutten with the family. Everyone had Thirsty's burgers the first night they were awesome. We cooked the next night and forgot the fries. So it was late everything was closed. Stopped there they were closed. Told him what we were doing and they cooked us fries for free. Refused the money. The food here very much exceeded our expectations. I had the Parkway Burger with onion rings and my husband had the Capital Burger with fries. The burgers were really, really good. Loved the presentation with the Thirsty's Burgers branding burnt into the top of the buns; super cute. My onion rings were really good too. My husband liked the fries, but I didn't try them; they looked great -- big and crinkle cut. Be aware that they only have outdoor seating. The burger restaurant is basically an offshoot of what looks like a small tiki bar. I was a little worried by a couple of wasps flying around. And you might rethink it if it is pouring out (although some seating is under a sort of covered porch). Service was very friendly, but we did have to wait a while for our food. It was very worth waiting for though. We have a weekend house in the area and will definitely be back. If you are staying at Massanutten, this is a great option; I'd skip any burgers at the resort and go to Thirsty's instead. read more

I was confused about why a "craft burger" restaurant didn't ask us how we wanted our burgers cooked and instead cooked everything medium-well. Also, a burger described as featuring pickled onions came with raw onions instead. Kitchen service overall was slow. Perhaps they should consider dropping the fire-branded logos on top of each hamburger bun and just focus on making really good burgers somewhat quickly? read more

Don't sleep on this place. Located at an adorable little outdoor hub. There was even a little area for kiddos to sit and play. It's like a food truck but in a permanent location. No indoor seating but there is some covered seating if it's raining. Decided to pick it up to go and head back to the resort to enjoy and watch the NFL draft. The burger was excellent! The Fish and Chips were great. It was Haddock. All the food has so much flavor. I think anything they make whether it is the food or their drinks, they are wonderfully made. My wife had the Yorktown. She said it was so awesome. The burger was juicy and had so much flavor. It had grilled onions, mushrooms, Lettuce and tomato. We think it had a special sauce. The fries are awesome. We are out on the patio. You hear cars but you sort of block it out real fast and you enjoy the light music and the breeze. The service was great. My ice tea never hit the bottom of the glass. A little more than I want to pay when going out to eat but it is worth it. You must try this place out. It is a little hard to find. So use GPS. read more

This is a new restaurant, and we loved it! It is located in a little boardwalk style plaza with several other businesses. Parking was easy, and it shared a parking lot with the other places. It is outdoor seating only that I could see, so plan on getting take out if the weather isn't great. The view is gorgeous there. Wait staff was friendly, and the bathrooms and area were clean. Their alcohol licensing was pending so we didn't get to sample any alcoholic beverages. The food was amazing though. Their curly fries were served with every burger and hit the spot. I got the Burg, which was a bit heavy of a sandwich (I knew it would be going into it so I'm not upset). I almost wish it would've had something spicy on it or more fresh components to give some relief. The everything bagel was an interesting and unique concept that I enjoyed over a traditional bun. My dad got the same burger but requested a regular bun and said he also felt it was a bit too heavy. My mom got the North fork and said she was surprised but really enjoyed the pineapple on the burger, and the sweet chili sauce was spectacular. My fiance got the Yorktown and said the caramelized onions were really good, but he wishes there would've been more of them and the mushrooms overall. He also said it was a bit too greasy for his liking. We all agreed that the burgers were slightly overcooked for our preference, but the burgers were still juicy and not dry so we didn't mind. My only complaint is that we waited an hour for our food. We were seated immediately and ordered right away, but there were so many takeout orders and only 2 employees in the kitchen. If you plan on eating there, try to go at an off-peak time or just be aware you could be waiting a long time. I can forgive them though because the food was so good.
