This place is so random yet awesome! Leave it to Texas to have a drive thru beer place that sells BBQ. Drove from Abilene after getting a recommendation from a neighbor. It definitely did not disappoint! Ordered a Brisket Sandwich and 10 wings with Sweet Chilli Sauce. The Brisket sandwich was on point with what a Texas Brisket Sandwich should be. The bun was awesome and I had them put onions and pickles on it. The wings were good but on the small side. The flavor was excellent and they were crispy enough. I wish the wings were a little bigger or should I say meatier. Regardless of that I would still trek out here to this fine random establishment. Now I know why they had a line of 8 cars when I pulled it. read more

I was told about this place by a friend... I have to say I was hesitant at first but I am so glad we took the trip to try this place out! We got the sweet chilli, buffalo, and the mango habanero wings. All were delicious!! We also got the 1 meat plate, (Brisket) with potato salad and fried okra.. All very delicious. Chopped brisket was okay atleast half of the sandwich was cold rest was slightly Warm. Plenty of meat. The hamburger buns were stale and this is second time in 2 years we've ate here buns were stale first time we were giving them the benefit of the doubt. Friendly service and fairly fast prepared. Not returning. Guess that's why Google doesn't recommend them when asked for local BBQ sandwiches. I'm being asked what could be improved. For starters they could serve it up way warmer and not serve buns that are hard to bite into. read more

I've never had a bad meal from here. It's always good! The only slight problem is that the only smoked meat they offer is sausage and brisket. But they are both amazing and so is the service! read more

Great service and great food. What else you gotta ask for. Stopped by on a road trip and it was right off the I-20. Has a nice shaded area as well as a small play ground shaded by trees. Great place to just stop by for a quick bite and rest. Forgot to take pictures though. Definitely will add some the next time. read more

Way over priced, 26.00 for a 2 meat plate, chopped brisket tasted like they poured water over it, pulled pork just the opposite, very dry, neither meat had any flavor. 2 sides tasted like they came from the local supermarket store. The beer selection no better than the convivence store and higher priced. read more

It's a matter of convenience, but you can save yourself a couple of dollars by going to the gas stations or the United Supermarket just down the street. The brisket sandwich was alright, but nothing I'd go back for. read more

We got wings and the two meat plate. The wings were cooked so well I could easily pull the meat off the bones. Wish I got the ladies name who helped us, she was very friendly. The location was something so out of normal for us Arizonans I had to get out and take a picture. There was also a nice picnic area with a play area for the kids. 10/10 would recommend read more

The ladies who work there are very kind! They hustle and seem to work hard, all three I've met so far always have a smile on their face. The bbq beans are the best thing on the menu, if you like cowboy beans this is a great spot to grab some!! The meat stuffed potato was good but I was disappointed in the amount of salt I tasted, also would have like to be informed there was going to be cheese on my potato. Not a cheese fan & it was melted all over the brisket...... The brisket was moist which is great, nothing worse than dry brisket. The potato salad was lacking, we both kind of made a funny face at it. The bbq sauce was incredibly sweet, not our taste either. Husband had the $12 - 2 meat plate, pretty disappointed with the portion size, 1 spare rib & two slices of brisket cut in half. Did come with a scoop of potato salad & the beans in a separate container. The beans were the best part of the meal, coming from a man who doesn't do beans that's a huge compliment. Got a brisket burrito for my son, again little hefty on the salt, good amount of meat for the nearly $6 burrito. Disappointed in my container of ranch (that I paid extra for) was only half full, & the bbq sauce container for my husband's meat plate was about one thirtld the size of the ranch container. There was also only one container of bbq sauce, yet all three of us who ordered had brisket in our meal but 1 container of sauce. All in all our total was $29 but we could get twice as much at Betty Roses for that amount of money. I guess we are paying for the convenience of not having to drive into Abilene for bbq since reds and little pit closed down here in Clyde. Went last week and bought an 18 pack of Bud Light and a fountain drink and my total was $22. An 18 pack in Abilene at Wal-Mart cost $15. So again I guess we are paying out the nose for convenience. All in all it's okay, convenience is nice if you can afford it, and the staff & beans were fantastic! read more

This is a drive-through place. It takes a few minutes for them to put your dinner together. I ordered the 2-meat plate of brisket and sausage. It was inexpensive. It was great. Took it to my hotel. Enough food that I shared it with the receptionist at the front desk. Definitely worth the stop. read more
