I went straight to the register and ordered an iced lavender latte, one of their signature drinks. They rung me up and told me where to wait for my drink. From there I saw a row of dozens and dozens of receipts for delivery orders, and a cycle of delivery drivers came in to collect these drinks to go. There really must've been dozens of orders ahead of me because it took over 30 mins for me to get my drink. I suppose if you're local you may already know to expect something like this at this popular coffee shop but I had no idea and there was no warning. Folks would go up to ask when their drink would be ready and the employees would exasperatedly go "If you don't see your name on one of these receipts your drink is NOT ready." I do understand their frustration with getting this question so much but they really should let people know when they're ordering, because this was not evident at all. The drink was fine. I think I would have enjoyed a similar drink at a place I didn't have to wait 30 minutes for.

I also want to add that this location tends to run sweet - usually I get my KFT drinks with 30% sugar but this time around, my 30% sugar mango green tea tasted like a 100% sugar drink. The label clearly stated 30% sugar so either their drinks tend to run sweet OR someone made my drink wrong (either way, not great). That's the 1 star off. But otherwise, a solid option. As an added plus, several of the other restaurants nearby (such as Jinya) will actually allow you to take your KFT drinks inside! :)

My go to has been the garlic chicken bowl with white rice, steamed broccoli and garlicky, slightly sweet, tender chicken bits. So good! The shrimp kimbap is basically a shrimp tempura roll accompanied by a dip that provides a little wasabi kick. I've also tried some of their drinks, the seasonal watermelon juice was perfect all summer, but I look forward to the fall flavors. The menu is small but everything is good quality and fresh. And the cookies, I'm not sure where they get them but they are amazing!
