I commute between Asheboro and Greensboro daily and the last thing I need is to be stuck on the side of the road with a flat, so I popped into this location just to see if someone had a moment to check my tire out. The office staff was friendly and pointed me to the 1st bay for help. Crystal, the service technician, came right out. She was super friendly and very helpful. She checked all four of my tires, answered all of my questions, and assured me I was safe to drive home. Took my car in to have AC diagnosed why it wasn't working they charged system and put some dye In it so leak could be found they charged me over $600 and said bring it back in a few days so we can see where the leak is.the next morning at my house I discovered the leak myself and bought the part and replaced it.I took it back in to have the system recharged again and they charged me another $220 to recharge the AC system so basically I paid them $800 for them to charge my AC system two times and I wound up purchasing the part and doing the work myself I will never set foot on that property again. Let me start by saying I have pondered on writing this review for a few days as I truly believe in supporting my local businesses and try to always practice positive and honest feedback on my reviews. My husband brought his GMC truck in to have a tire patched he was informed that it couldn't be done . My husband worked in a garage for years with local car dealerships including a Thomas Tire at one time and knew better, but he offered no argument and decided at this point he couldn't just replace one tire and opted to purchase a set and have them installed. My husband is a full time fire fighter as well as volunteer firefighter so he did ask if they offered any kind of first responders discount since the tires he was purchasing with them was a total of 1300.00 dollars and was informed they would take 10.00 off the total but that was the best they could do. Really ?! Again he didn't make a big deal and decided he needed his only way of transportation fixed so he purchased the tires. Now here's the icing on the cake my husband works a part time construction job on his days off from his full time firefighting. He had thousands of dollars worth of tools in the back of his truck his truck was ready the next day but he was on shift at the FD so it was parked outside the business for him to pick up the following day. He arrived to find his truck had been left unlocked and when he went back in to comfort them he was only responded to with shrugged shoulders. This is how he provides for our family . He just spent 1300.00 dollars with your company which by the way he paid full price " keep your best you can do offer" up front even though his truck would not be done till the next day, and you couldn't even do him the decency of locking his truck . Nothing had been taken let me make that clear but it's the common point that they didn't even acknowledge they did it and even offer him an apology. Thomas Tire is PHENOMENAL!!! I live in NYC and while out of town, got a nail in the tire of my new RR. I stayed in Greensboro, NC for the furniture market in High Point. I paid 3K for an insurance policy on my tires and rims (third RR, didn't use it for the first car, didn't buy it for the next one and Murphy's Law, spent bank on tire issues, so bought the policy for my latest). Well Greensboro RR wouldn't see me until the day after I was leaving! Hubby called Thomas Tire and they told him to come, they'd get the car in asap. Upon arrival he asked about the insurance policy and they hadn't heard of it so he said no worries, he would submit the claim himself. When the car was ready, they didn't charge ANYTHING!!! Got him back on the road within 1.5 hours and no charge...that is AMAZING SERVICE. I'm a fan, if I lived in GSO, they would be my go-to tire place. I go to market twice a year, so I will make every effort to get my tires serviced there...THANK YOU!!!! read more

We have used this location since we moved here 6 years ago. Up until about 2 year ago they did great customer satisfaction. Now it has gone to it is all about the money. I took my car in for an alignment and two front tires, man goes out and look at back tires and says they have been on the car since it was manufactured and are dry rotted. I looked and they were fine. Car only has a little over 56,000 miles on it. Took my truck in for a steering problem. They said the steering box could not be rebuilt, that it would have to be replaced. 3 day and over $3,000 later I got the truck back. I have since found out it could have been rebuilt. They routinely make recommendations that are not necessary. Recommendations when getting and oil change would have been over $300. It is all about how much they can charge you. When I checked I apologized for being late and he said it was fine. I asked how long it would take and he said about an hour. It's her. And hour and 20 minutes and they haven't touched my car. I came in to get my brake pads replaced, and an oil change. Was charged $1232 to have no brake fluid, and for my truck to not start.

doesn't honor warranty new management is terrible been going here for years and was given the run around until we called corporate then manager decides to give us attitude and then went back and lied to Eric at corporate who then instead of calling us back decides to send an email after hours saying basically that we are freebies who just want a new cataylic converter umm I think if I spent 1500 the first year then it goes out a second time they replaced it then a year later a third time it goes out yeah I would say it's their fault and not ours we keep up with our car maintenance and wouldn't lie Eric and laneisha blatantly called us "Freebies" and said now our warranty isn't valid? huh? your warranty on my recepit says you will replace it for any new parts well we were still under warranty but got accused and they wrote us off and yes we are seeking further action they demeaning us like this is extremely unprofessional I highly advise go somewhere else they don't care about their customers also recent reviews of this place could tell you that they don't care they scam people left and right. If there was a zero star rating, I would have zero. Three weeks ago I had my oil and filter change done by Valvoline Express Care in Randleman. One week ago I paid Thomas Tire in Randleman $750 to replace my ac compressor. On a trip to Georgia this weekend on the way home, the engine starts making a clicking sound close to my home. The car was completely void of oil and there was a hole in the oil filter on the side near the new compressor. I checked with Valvoline and they confirmed that they replaced the oil filter with a new one and it was initialed by two of their staff. They inspected the damaged and concluded that road damage was not the cause and that it looks as if it was damaged when putting the compressor in, or Thomas staff attempted to remove the filter with a wrench and damaged it without replacing it with a new filter. I spoke to Roger and another staff "investigator" at Thomas Randleman and they refused to accept responsibility. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Horrible service, horrible customer service. Had to replace the tires they put on in less than 5 months, they don't check to see if it needs alignment or balancing and tell you whether it needs to be done. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there, far too dangerous. read more
