I contacted the company who came out and I paid $500 in cash once job was done. Upon inspection, I noticed finger prints and un smooth texture. Miller senior said he would come back out the next day. It was slightly drizzling so he asked to reschedule. Weeks go by and the son contacts me after I told him I would get my attorney involved. He promptly responded and we scheduled a date. He then had to reschedule and confirmed the night before he would be at my home. No show and it's been months. I had a small dent that could have easily been pushed out (confirmed by many) but they instead but plaster and repainted the entire rear. Clear coating that isn't easy I understand but after professionals looked at it. They left tons of what's called Lemon peel layer where it's not stock smooth but has indents everywhere. The paint has a sandy feel everywhere. They don't bother to remove the license plate cover as if you do that you will see the original paint. I'm sorry but this company is why reviews matter. If you're looking for cheap work fine but it you got a car you care about pay more or get referrals. At this point, I spent an additional $130 to polish it myself but the lemon peel is what's causing there to be no reflection on the bumper. No way is it possible these guys are paint pros. They may be auto body guys. read more

The Thompsons came the same morning I called and got to work immediately. Their bid was reasonable and the best I received. Dents on both sides of the truck bed were repaired to perfection. Unfortunately, the overnight cold weather affected the paint drying and resulted in dullness and streaking in the morning. So we waited for a warmer day and a new clear coat was applied. This time, the beautiful shine is back and my truck looks good as new! read more

WOW. These two guys are the absolute best find I have ever had off of yelp. PERIOD. I messaged them late (around 8 or 9pm) on a Friday night , asking if they could quote me to fix a badly scratched front side of this BMW, and they replied to me immediately!!! They scheduled the appointment with me for the following day , Saturday at 9:30am, could not have been more communicative and EXCEPTIONAL!!!! They exceeded my expectations by FAR and were incredibly well priced, cannot recommend them enough!!!! This was a pretty messed up lease return (LOL), that was repaired as new. read more

The Father & Son Miller Team were a pleasure to do business with. They were easy to communicate with and stood by their words on getting my work truck fixed up for a fair and reasonable price. See the pictures of the Dent before and the work they did to get it looking like new again. They pushed out the Dent, then sanded it down to bare metal, then applied some body filler to smooth it out, then primer, paint and finally clear coat. Dear Yelpers, I am writing this to hopefully prevent anyone from experiencing the same level of frustration I have after hiring Thompson's Auto Service. The company is a father and son team, Miller Snr., and Jr. I hired them in November of last year, 2024, to fix a door dent on a 2011 Honda Fit. Miller Senior texted me in the morning to let me know he was coming. Upon his arrival he asked for a Zelle payment up front. I thought this was strange, but agreed to it. He began working. After a few hours he let me know that he had to go and get the paint. Upon his return he sprayed the door, and bumper, which was extra. Once he was done he let me know that the color didn't exactly match and that we would have to go to the auto paint shop so they could do the color matching. HE SAID THAT SINCE IT WAS HIS MISTAKE HE WOULD PAY FOR THE PAINT AND RE-SPRAY THE CAR AT A LATER DATE. We arranged to meet at the paint store on 01/05 and he said that he would re-spray the door right after. 01/05 arrived, we met at the paint store. Miller Jr. was also there, and they paid for the paint. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly so we decided to postpone the re-spray. We agreed to wait until later in the spring when the days warm up a little, which will supposedly assure a better quality job. On 01/15, the last time I spoke to Miller Jr., he assured me that my job would not be forgotten and that it's better to wait until it warms up. Fast forward to 04/17, 3 plus months later, after many unanswered calls and texts to Miller Jr., the car still has not has been re-sprayed. I gave up trying to contact Miller Jr. I called Miller Snr. on 04/09. He told me he was coming 04/11. 04/11 came, no show. I called Miller Snr. again on 04/17. He said he wasn't able to finish the job since he has no supplies. He also said that I am expecting too much for the price I paid. He offered me a $200 refund. I said I would come for it right away but he quickly said he didn't have it. He said to call him again on 04/21 and then he will either come and finish the job or give me the $200 refund. I am curious what the outcome will be on 04/21. UPDATE: 04/21 came and went. I did not receive a call from either Miller Snr. or Jr. There are two other Yelpers, David L. and Michael N. that have reviewed this company and given them 1 star reviews. I have had the same or similar experiences as these individuals so their reviews are believable. Thompson's Auto Service gave me the cheapest quote. Never was the saying more true, "Anything good isn't cheap, and anything cheap isn't good". Consider carefully before hiring Thompsons Auto Service. read more

Miller and his father came to my dads work and fixed his tailgate and roof. Good quality and great customer service. The weather was a little tricky and they came back the next morning and finished the job. They used good quality oem paint and worked towards my dads needs. He wasn't able to leave the truck at there garage but they were able to come to him and get the job done. My dad is 120% satisfied and would like to leave them a 6 star review. I had previously given this business a good review because Miller did do a great job on my car. I then referred him to my sister. She had a really hard time getting ahold of him and then once she finally did, they scheduled a date which he then had to cancel due to car problems. They rescheduled and then he did not even show up. She tried to reach him but no response. I can't in good faith recommend this business. It's a shame that a professional can't even have the decency to contact their client if they are unable to make the appointment. read more

Then I messaged them via Yelp and they finally replied giving me a quote and time frame, however, I asked them additional questions about other spots on my car that needs body work and have been ignored twice, very unprofessional, if a business is not willing to perform the repairs just let their customers know. I reached out to Miller Sr in regards to fixing a good size dent on my passenger side front fender on my Toyota Corolla. I initially reached out to the father and son team on yelp. They were very quick to respond, within five minutes of my request and after speaking with them on the phone and learning about Sr's 40+ years of experience with body work, I felt comfortable with hiring the father and son team to repair the dent on my car. They arrived on time and were very punctual, listening to my concerns and what I was expecting to have accomplished. During conversation with them, I inquired about my rear bumper as well. My rear bumper had cracking paint, paint, discoloration, and pealing clear coat. They quoted me a fair and reasonable price for doing both areas of repair on my vehicle. They were able to complete the job in my driveway, taking care to protect my property when they re-sprayed and clearcoat of my rear bumper, as well as when they sanded it down. In just a couple hours. So friendly---both father and son. Unreal. Honest. Very reasonable in their pricing too. You can't beat these guys. They jumped on this job immediately after I called them, actually--even with it being late afternoon on a Friday. They did a very nice job. Yes, they did happen to reside in my area of L.A., which also helped. But still, I don't think any other dent service in L.A. would have performed well in so many areas as they did. No way.
