Customer service for Thor Motor Coach is a 0. Thor would not fix a factory defect. I would not recommend buying anything from Thor. There was a hole drilled through the drain line while installing the outside TV. A leak occurred whenever the full sink was emptied and when we washed clothes. We did not see any sign of this until a soft spot showed up in front of the stove. The leak eventually ruined the floor in the slide out. According to the repair shop,a cost of $15,000.00. We contacted Thor customer service and they refused to even consider taking responsibility for their factory defect. I only wish we would have read the bad reviews before we bought it. I wish I could give 0 star rating. After 3 years-and dozens of major issues (electrical/plumbing/slides/leveling jacks,ect.)-Thor has never missed a chance to let me down. With legal action, they finally stepped up (barely on the last day repair window). Shoddy worksmanship (bare minimum) and customer service-on a new $200,000 RV. The first year owned, the dealer had it for 8 months! After research, I found their main focus is acquiring other RV manufacturers (to eliminate competition). I just heard they acquired Tiffin. We bought a class A Thor Miramar from them. This was our 3 purchase from them. It was a lemon, in and out of the shop multiple times. within the first year we needed the floor fixed( they just glued the floating floor), all of the kitchen drawers caved in, water coming in through the slide on our first trip, replaced one slide, outlets not working, we still do not have complete use of our cameras, all of the bins were showing rust when purchased (they promised to scrape and spray them (they did not), doors on the outside of the rig wouldn't close or open easily, headlights were not working, couch came dismounted, cabinet hardware needed to be repaired, heat plate was falling off, there was a hole in our water tank and the list goes on. Right after our one year mark we went in and said water was still coming in. we recorded it. They agreed to make one final "fix" on the rig. They said they found a small hole and were gonna fit it. About 6 months later we took it in for regular service and were told we had roof damage and it wound be $16,000 to repair. They said we could file through insurance they do it all the time. We tried. The tech that originally looked at the rig and told us he'd fix the small whole told my insurance company they told us there was a whole and we did not want to fix it. I have the paperwork that says they did fix it...our claim was denied. We went to a body shop that specializes in rvs and they said it was actually just a $300 repair. they filled it and reprotected the roof. General RV said $16,000... Today it is exactly 3 years after the original purchase. we still have water coming in and we took our rig to a new shop since we can't trust General RV and now we are being told that since they glued down our floating floor to "fix" it it will be $30,000 to fix the floor that is now rolling up. We just had to have the microwave reinstalled because it was originally installed incorrectly and fell off of the wall. ****update...they reached out on here but never responded when I reached back out to them with my information. *** read more

Sure wish I could rate a ZERO cause that's all Thor has shown me so far - nothing. After 18 months of ownership, our new 2022 Tellaro hasn't worked properly for even one minute. It's been one major problem after another - like Whack-a-Mole. Just when we think one thing gets fixed, another rears it's head. Their Li-Ion battery system is such poorly designed that it can't keep up with any amount of battery demand. Numerous wiring issues plagued the van and it wouldn't pass inspection initially because of shorted out lights. Too many problems to list, trust me. But it's completely unusable until they figure out why the battery for the coach isn't charging. Their customer service? Non existent. They took 3 weeks to reply to my first inquiry, but it was completely a useless response that missed the whole point of the problem. Multiple contacts since and they don't even bother to respond at all now and it's been over a year since the first one. Can't recommend this company at all. Shame on you, Thor Industries! We have a 2017 28Z Four Winds: Very shoddy work, and very poor quality of materials. This is the third motor home we have owned, and by far it's the worst! We've had to have a wall reattached that was coming loose, wood trim falls off while I'm cooking. Parts of the floor is peeling up. I've had to reattach light switches, and the stripping on each side of the slide out. Although I have kept the upholstery covered it is virtually disintegrating. We paid thousands of dollars for this motor home, and we're on a fixed income. We can't afford to have it reupholstered. Basically we fix whatever we can afford to fix. Thor does not do their due dilligence to ensure customers receive a product worth what they charge. I paid over $100,000 for a new RV. However, this brand new class B RV has more issues than i'd expect a used RV to have. My RV only has 10,500 miles and my current issue (I have lost track how many times I've had to fix something) is that the raidiator hose blew because the alternator they installed for the RV house wasn't routed or installed properly - installation did not avoid the timing belt from rubbing on it. Just a few months after the Thor manufacturing warranty expired, the hose ruptured. I really would like to spread awareness so that consumers do not buy into this faulty product which will ruin vacations! I can go on with issues (fridge doesn't work, screws falling off from car vibrations, engine parts not tied down and tap tap tap during drives, awning no longer function, rear view camera turns on mid drive on the hwy and we cant X out of it, cabinet frame are warping, we've had heater issues, vinyl flooring is lifting on all corners, entire ceiling leather panel floating because it became unglued, bed slide rubs on the metal lock, so the board has a huge gash from it slidding/rubbing on metal, missing insulation between van frame and the interior, water enters from the AC unit on the ceiling, etc.) But there are too many to break down full details. The quality is subpar. I don't know who wants to pay $100,000 for something that barely last 2 years, it certainly isn't advertised that way. It has been a true nightmare. We have a 2015 Thor four winds that we have had great experiences with. Very few problems, and those that we have had were minor and easily resolved. I won't claim that Thor RVs are the best or perfect by any means, but you get pretty good value for your money. I'm not a big fan of all the brown upholstery and wallpaper, but that's a pretty minor thing. I've seen some reviews say they've had poor customer service with Thor, but that hasn't been my experience. I've dealt with their parts department to order replacement parts on occasion and I have always had phenomenal customer service. They have even replaced worn out parts completely free, didn't even ask me to pay shipping. And this is for an RV that has been out of warranty for several years. 2018 Thor Chateau 24F Motorhome issues: 1. Day 2: Driver seat belt was found partially severed. Was replaced. 2. Day 2: Ford keyless entry fobs were not working. They were activated. 3. Trip to BC: Kitchen sink faucet was found leaking water on the countertop. Was repaired. 4. Trip to BC: P-trap in kitchen sink was leaking. I placed a bowl under it to catch the water. Bowl had to be emptied every day. Was repaired. 5. P-trap kitchen sink leaked again on a Canmore trip. Had to use the bowel to catch water again. Was repaired again. 6. Trip to BC: Bathroom sink faucet was leaking.  Water was detected around the base of the water tap and outside the bathroom on the floor around the corner of the door. Was repaired. 7. Trip to BC: Motor home door entrance lock mechanism was found to be loose and not solid. It was moving up and down. (loose). Was repaired. 8. Trip to BC: Fan settings:  low setting does not work.  Just the high setting works. Never was repaired. 9. Trip to BC: One drawer closing mechanism failed.  The spring came out and I figured out how to put it back in and made it work. 10. Noticed on trip to BC: Seats and seat backs at the dinette and front seats in the cab did not appear to have been treated with protector. Was never addressed. 11. Trip to BC: Shower slider bar at the top right hand side comes off when you slide the door some times and has to be put back in place; so we put a shower curtain up instead. Needs to be fixed so it does not fall out. Was never addressed. 12. Trip to Drumheller: Dinette table T-molding surround separated and needed repair. Was repaired. 13. P-trap in the kitchen leaked again on the Drumheller trip. Had to use the bowel to catch water. Was repaired again. It had leaked and had been repaired three times. 14. Dinette table T-molding surround separated a second time and needed repair. Was repaired a second time. 15. Trip to Drumheller: Ball valve seal in toilet leaks. Was repaired. Feel like a kiddie sitting on the toilet seat because it is too high. 16. Water pump pulsates. Never was addressed. 17. At home prior to winter: Batteries were set in so tight in their slot under the step I could not remove them so I left them in when winter came. I put a slow charge on over the winter. 18. At home: Vehicle and motorhome batteries were discovered to be dead early January so I put a slow charge on them over the winter and luckily they were revived. 19. At home: Exterior motorhome molding adjacent to the driver and passenger doors was found to have shrunk in the cold winter weather and consequently pulled out of its seating on driver and passenger sides. I assume it was repaired when we brought the motorhome in for consignment. We brought the motorhome back to Guarantee RV four times for repair. Each trip return was 120 km. Our son had to come pick us up each time. Guarantee RV shop foreman was accommodating and did the repairs to our satisfaction each time. Would never buy an RV so far from home ever again. Would never buy a Thor RV ever again. We sold the motorhome on consignment at Guarantee RV for a good price. However, we did lose the GST, Ultimate Protection package and depreciation. Very happy we sold the RV when we did. Not wishing bad luck to whoever bought it. read more

I purchased a brand new 2024 Thor motor coach, and it's been nothing but problems for me. The RV was built with poor quality materials, parts and appliances. Within a month I was in for maintenance. The shower fitting had detached from wall. Then all within 5 months it's has been back and forth for repairs; the floor tile was peeling and the refrigerator went out, the shower fitting detached again and my windshield washer reservoir hose became detached and I had to pay for that repair only for it to become detached again. Thor Factory Service went over and beyond to get our 2021 Thor Outlaw 38MB safely back on the road for us. We called and emailed their support team prior to passing through Wakarusa at warrantysupport@tmcrv.com. We were contacted within 24 hours by Aaron Mondy from their customer service support team. Our problem was critical due to front wall separation. So they worked to squeezed us into their shop the day we were passing through the area on our trip. They let us plug into power when we arrived the night before. Then the next morning they quickly started work on our coach promptly at 7am. They not only fixed our wall separation issue but also helped button up a few other issues we were having and updated our system software as well. Every service tech was extremely helpful and friendly. They had excellent communication from start to finish! We were thoroughly impressed with their work and would highly recommend Thor Industries. TMC does not even deserve one star. Overpriced, cheaply made and shoddy workmanship. I along with the dealership found two holes drilled through the roof of my 2023 Tellaro. Holes serving no purpose other than letting rain into the interior portion of the van damaging headliner, mattress, window valance and other interior items. TMC stated they WILL NOT cover any items such as a mattress that was added by the owner regardless of TMC factory workers negligence and failure to disclose to OOOOPS holes drilled into a very nice, brand new Ram ProMaster. Electronics have been a nightmare to fix. Fluctuating power, water pump, fans and lights shutting down BMProw when in use. This discrepancy proved to be poor wiring job again at the factory. Customer Service responds with a scripted reply each time you try and reason with them on the cause and affect was directly related to the factory. I am currently pursuing litigation against TMC for damages and a buy back for my van that has been a problem since day one. Very difficult to get service as well. Local authorized dealer declined to fix because I did not purchase from them. Informed TMC about this as well and absolutely no response. Bottom line I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT purchasing an RV manufactured by TMC. Even the legendary Airstream has taken a decline since TMC took over. Run! read more

I placed a down payment 3 weeks ago, and was informed don't do a punch list yet, they need to do the walk-through first. Walk-through completed a week later and still the same items not taken care of. However, the torn bedspread and one seal was taken care of. I have a 2020 Thor freedom elite 30FE. First time I took it out I started having problems with the slides. After several phone calls to Thor's customer service and 6 months in the shop. They finally fixed it. After that I had continuous water leaks in the bathroom area that cost me about $5,000 to repair because Thor would not cover the water leaks. We have had our Motorhome (brand new) for almost a year now and have had it in our possession for 3 of those months of which all we did was work on problems with it ourselves. Over all, our 2017 Thor Hurricane 29M is a great coach. I think Thor, along with many other RV manufacturers, Keystone being one that comes to mind, cut corners and purchase the cheapest hardware they can find. Our drawer closures are a Chinese joke, many of them are broken. Being "full timers", it's frustrating dealing with inferior, excuse the word, crap. However, the gas guzzling Ford V10's are awesome and seem to be dependable. Take care of your engine by doing regular oil changes and it will take care of you. We had a few issues with our 2022 Magnitude. the dealers didn't seem to want to help or wanted lots of money to do so. the slide outs weren't aligned properly but after our annual inspection nothing was said. Our entry step was also broke because of some angle aluminum holding it in place. Last issue was a difficult one. When the generator would start because of low battery voltage it would sometimes trip the inverter breaker. After discussing with Thor customer service I setup an appointment and went to the factory service center. Everything was fixed or replaced and the team there was anmazing. We only used our Fourwinds 3 times. It has been garaged since purchase and I would do a run through every 30 days to keep everything working and in service. We are currently on a 45 day vacation traveling the USA and we are in cold weather. It is impossible to keep this motorhome warm as there are so many air leaks and the insulation is so poor. When it rains water leaks in to the cabin at both slides. Bought a brand new 2023 Pasadena Super C from La Mesa RV in Mesa, AZ. We seriously thought we were getting a great coach and that we would be going home with something reliable! Well we were definitely fooled by La Mesa RV and Thor MotorCoach! The dealership didn't even fix everything that was promised at delivery so we were given a coach that was still completely dirty inside, and caked with dirt in all the cabinets underneath. Wall paper still peeling inside! Screens over the window still broke! *Water leaks inside from the slide outs, and on the other side where there isn't even a slide out! We get it home and go to leave on our first trip and the water pump will not work. I called Thor and and they were not helpful at all. We live in a small town and 4 1/2 hours away from the closest *Authorized Thor Dealer* to work on our coach, not to mention we were getting ready to use it on our first trip. So we went to the local RV store in our town and they had a water pump we could purchase, and my husband had to put the new one in! The coach is still intermittent on when it wants the water pump to work or not. And when the coach is leveled the water pump definitely doesn't want to work. Week 2 of owning this coach we were using it and all the sudden the whole thing just started shaking and vibrating while the AC's were on. It was insane! Again called Thor to see if they had any input and all they said was oh just make sure you have the covers on all the way tight.....OK! So we got home after that trip and my husband took the covers off the top of the motorhome and on each AC BOTH fans were broke! How does this even happen on a brand new motorhome! Lets see what else, It has a residential Refrigerator in it that they didn't even mount down, when we go around a corner or thru a windy road the whole refrigerator wants to tip out of the whole it is setting in! The wall by the refrigerator holding it in is completely bulging out. *The windshield wipers are in the off setting, but while driving down the road they just come on when they want to *When getting the coach the radio kept saying check antenna no signal. So my husband climbed on the roof and the whole antenna is missing, but looks like the the entire mount and everything was just caulked and sealed over so we cant even get a new one on there. *In this Super C the whole up top area is a window and has a auto slide up and down shade to go over it. We cant even use it because it keeps breaking and coming off the track, and making really horrible noises. Most recent trip the one that gets us the most, the Allison Transmission started slipping. On a brand new coach! The dealership wants to do nothing to help us out with this coach. We live to far from there to just take it to them to be fixed for everything. We didn't buy a brand new coach to have to take it in for repairs constantly. We bought it to use 3 out of 4 weekends a month for a purpose for our Son, and it has been nothing but problems for us from the get go. It is so disheartening and sad when people spend their hard earned money that we work for and have to make a payment on trying to buy something to enjoy and use for something they need and they have nothing but problem after problem with it and it does nothing but stress you out. My husband and I purchased a brand new Thor Windsport Class A coach (camper) from Camping World (CW) in the Spring of 2018. The day we took delivery of the coach we walked through the camper, at CW's request, and created an initial list of "issues" that were defects from manufacturer delivery. We were told that the items noted at delivery, and any additional items we noticed that needed repair once we got out using it, would all be addressed at a 90-day post purchase repair. Unfortunately, 90-days from purchase was prime camping season, so we made an agreement with CW, the day we picked up the coach, to bring the coach back in for the 90-day repairs after the initial 90-day period so as not to be without the camper during our only months-long camping season. During our first couple of trips with the coach we made note of some things that were not performing up to the standards of a brand new coach and added them to the initial list. In Nov 2018, we brought the coach in to CW for the list of repairs we needed performed. CW had our coach from November 2018 to April 2019 and all of the repairs were NOT finished. CW said the reason was push-back from Thor on approvals, inadequate job time allowed, or just flat out lack of response from Thor Motor Coach for the warranty items. As the months dragged on, and work wasn't being completed, we gave CW a firm date we needed to pick up the coach because our 2019 camping season was beginning. We purchased the camper to USE not to leave sitting in a repair shop for months upon months. FIVE months after giving our coach to CW for repairs, we were told that a number of the repairs had not been completed and that we would have to bring the coach back in again. We expressed our complete disappointment and total dissatisfaction at the work not being completed. At the end of May 2019 we received a call from Thor requesting we bring the coach back in to CW for outstanding repairs. I reminded Thor that CW had my coach for FIVE months and that Thor was asking to take my camper, again, at the height of camping season! I brought up the remaining list of repairs. The Thor Cust Svc rep told me to send over an email with the list. Upon receipt of the list, Thor denied most of the outstanding repairs including some that had previously been approved but not completed by CW!!! I've been sending email back and forth ever since and getting no where. Thor and Camping World have NOT completed the initial list we were told would be corrected at the time of purchase a year ago. The list of items that need repair are NOT customer maintenance issues. They are direct from manufacturer defects! At this point, I can not even trade in my coach for top dollar because of the items that need repair so I'm totally at a loss here. After having all of the trouble we've had, I only correspond with Thor and CW via email so they cannot say "we did or didn't say..." or "that's not what we agreed to...". Unfortunately, emails go unanswered for days. They ignore my request to speak to a Manager, they ignore my request to specifically address the list of repairs that are clearly mistakes or defects from manufacturer. They have wasted months and months of our time and at the end of the day the coach hasn't been repaired. We now have a 1-year old coach with issues from delivery that we've been trying to have fixed for over a year! In the meantime of the initial list we've been fighting to have repaired, there is now an additional list of new issues that need repair. That request is also being ignored.
