We are so lucky to have Thousand Oaks trophies in our neighborhood. Fran and Kevin are super friendly and their work is superb. It's easy to see they take pride in their work and go out of their way to be sure their customers are satisfied. I needed to have a girls name engraved on a little silver disk. I really had no idea whether to request print or script. Fran showed me the script and I went with their suggestion and couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a place in the Conejo Valley for your trophy/awards needs then you need to consider contacting Fran with Thousand Oaks Trophies. Although it is easy to drive by this shop, it is worth it to drop off your order because you will not be disappointed. There is additional parking in the back and on the side streets so don't fret about the tiny parking lot. The quality of the work is excellent and very durability. I've had a number of items done here and I have never been disappointed. Fran does a great job with covering all the details. There were aspects of a couple of my pieces I didn't even consider until Fran brought them to my attention. Although the shop is small, there are numerous catalogs to order specialty items from. Turnaround time is also very fair and if you're in a pinch, Fran is willing to work with you to ensure you get your order on time. I was late picking an item up on a Friday after work and she stayed open just for me. So if you're looking for a quality trophy/award with excellent customer service then Thousand Oaks Trophies is the place for you. You will not be disappointed. I have used these guys for years. A great husband and wife team who really know their stuff. I often spend longer in the store because the conversation is good. The trophy work is above par and it's always great to be dealing with the actual owners and not some employee who has other concerns. Stopped in here after speaking to I believe the female owner on the phone. She was helpful and seemed to suggest they had some options for me. When I got there, her husband was so rude. He honestly acted like I was annoying him by being there. Apparently what I was looking for was not in my budget, but rather than just saying that, he was completely brash making comments like "well without tearing the whole store apart, I don't know what we have" and "well on such short notice... if I had more time..."; I never told him a deadline. Bottom line, this guy wasn't trying to be bothered. They should close early on Fridays if he's going to be nasty in the afternoon. Ended up buying on Amazon, so apparently what I need IS within my budget. Just a shame to not be able to support a small local business because the owner is rude. read more

Had plates engraved, which were done to my order but the pricing was exorbitant. Will go elsewhere in the future. I read your response. I certainly didn't expect to have the engraving done gratis but $20 per plate to have one name engraved is exorbitant, My brother-in-law, who has had you engrave the plates in the past, was also shocked at your price and will also take his business elsewhere. read more

We went to Fran to have a plaque made for our golf tournament. Our very good friend Fred has been organizing his Sin City Golf Tournament since 2008. For 24 people, three days of golf and hotel rooms is a lot of work for one person. We did a logo for him and Fran made a plague and ball markers.
