Wanted to give Three Blondes a try once we arrived in South Haven on a Sunday afternoon. We were traveling with our dog and it was hoping to eat lunch before checking into our VRBO later in the afternoon. However, wasn't dog friendly (even outside on their patio), so decided to try again later. Once our family arrived in the evening, thought it would be easier to order carry out, but they had stopped taking orders. They were closed on Monday, so went back on Tuesday evening for dinner. We had a group of six adults plus a toddler, so three of us went early to get a table so that the toddler didn't have to wait so long. Got a quick table around 4:50 pm with the rest of the crew arriving about 5:15 pm. We soon found out we were on the clock to eat and leave our table in that they have a 90-minute maximum table time. Our server was even a bit passive aggressive in reminding us how long we had been at the table. Really kind of made us feel rushed even though we would be done safely within the 90 minutes. A couple of us wanted to stick around and sample more of their beers, so we ended up stepping outside to their patio and found seats to use. The food was very good for most of us. I had the Barbie-Q, which was like a BBQ Pot Roast. Excellent. Tender meat. Nice beer-cheese sauce. Would have liked more of the BBQ sauce (pomegranate BBQ), but would order again. My wife had the Cowgirl Wrap and really didn't like the taste. In fact, she sent it back and didn't order anything to replace. They were nice enough to remove from our check. Daughter 1 had a cheeseburger and fries. Daughter 2 and her husband had a pizza (very good, but could have used either more sauce or more cheese) along with splitting a burger. We also ordered Blondie Bread for the table, which was excellent. The beer (True Blue Bear) was top drawer, and I would return just for that! We bought a 12-pack to take with us. Only wish my wife had ordered something different and that the pressure wasn't placed on us several times to keep moving so that the table opened. read more

Delicious beer, good food, but really crowded during the summer season! Went with my mom while on a little getaway to South Haven. We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated, but they do have a portion of their outdoor area that was for waiting guests! The beers were good, with some really unique flavors - we tried 12 of them between the two flights we ordered. They had a dill beer, which was surprisingly good. We tried this place for the first time on our way to Saugatuck. It was a Friday evening around 5:45 pm and we had a party of four. We got in as soon as we walked in the door. I was impressed that I could order wine instead of a beer. Riesling was very nice. We ordered an appetizer, the pretzel with beer cheese and pimento cheese. Both cheeses were great and the pretzel was warm and appetizing. We ordered dinners and were not disappointed. Please refer to my pictures! Service was great! I loved this place. I made a large reservation for my birthday dinner and we were welcomed and treated extremely well. Everyone's food was fantastic and the beers were unique and exciting. I have to mention that I ordered the Strawberry Arugula Salad and it was one of the best salads I've ever eaten. HIGHLY recommended. The hot pretzel sticks were a favorite at the table. I've been here a couple times now with a variety of people and everyone has always had positive feedback about their food and a great experience. I personally loved their salad- the basic salad- as weird as it sounds, it was so simple and so fresh but had high quality fresh ingredients and great dressing! I also enjoyed their tacos and their pizza! My friend ordered some wings for everyone to share and they loved them so much they ordered another round! Such a cool place!! Great ambiance! Great tasting beer with so many unique flavors available! Everyone in our party of 6 was pleased with their choice!! We shared excellent wings (pomegranate bbq and hot honey garlic were two of the favorite flavors!!)... but the belle of the ball was the RANGOON PIZZA!!!! Oh my, it was soo creamy and the crust was phenomenal!! My dad said, "I haven't had a crust this good in my life!" The service was great too. I enjoy this place but was disappointed last night with our food. Service was excellent. However, the Brussels Sprouts were lacking in seasoning and short on sauce (have had them on other visits so I know what they should taste like). My son asked for his burger to be cooked medium, it was well done. The Mac and cheese had very little flavor, and a small puddle of cheese sauce was found at the very bottom of the bowl. My wings were good, asked for them extra crispy, and they were. However, the sauce, hot honey garlic, was very vinegary. Beer was good. We had dinner at Three Blondes Brewing over the weekend and so glad we did! The food was awesome! You have to try the Blondie Bread, such a good starter! We had the buffalo chicken wrap, which was also really good! We did a beer flight and really enjoyed the different beers. Our sever, Rose, was the best! Very professional and attentive. Lately I've been in South Haven for work, and found this amazing brewery. It has great parking, indoor and outdoor seating, great food and beer as well as a clean and friendly atmosphere. I ordered the elote dip to start with, which has all the great flavors of street corn topped with flaming hot Cheetos. We also ordered a burger and tacos. I tried the pulled pork tacos, which come with house pickled jalapeños and onions. The beer and cider is so good, we took a growler home of their kettle sour which features strawberry banana. Our service was excellent and I will 100% go there again and recommend to friends. read more

We went here last night and loved everything. We had 2 pizzas, a sandwich, and some meatloaf, but the shining star of the meal was the Korean brussel sprouts. We've visited 6 times over the duration of the summer. South Haven is the midway point between our house and my parents house so when they kindly take our kids for a week at "Grammy camp" South Haven is our designated point of exchange. I chose Three Blondes based on 2 important facts. 1. It wasn't downtown 2. It wasn't downtown The fact that it was a brewery was an added perk. Between the 6 of us that dined each time we got to sample a good section of the menu. Everything was executed well but by far the best were the sweet potato waffle fries and the beer cheese soup. The philly cheese steak egg rolls were a big hit as well. The perch was so so and the pizza was just ok. The beer was not the best. We shared a few flights but never found one worth ordering a pint of. They just weren't for us. On our last visit I ordered an iced tea and found to my dismay that they don't even brew it but rather it's liptons concentrate out of the pop machine. Gross. Iced tea is ridiculously easy to brew fresh and tastes SO much better ( not to mention you're a brewery). Service was ok and varied between great and just barely attentive but all of our orders came out correctly and we never had to wait for our check. Overall it's a solid three stars based on the food and service but the fact that their location means I never have to deal with the waterfront crowds again gives them another star. read more

Great Service!! Blueberry Lavender Cider was so good (GF). I was so happy to have an appetizer option that was gluten free! The steak tacos were pretty much perfect. The perfect amount of toppings and crema. The steak was also perfectly cooked. I'm still thinking about how good they were! Loved that they had an outdoor space that you could sit and hang out while waiting for your table to be ready. Compared to other West Coast Michigan beers, this place is sub par. Limited variety of beers. Also, this was our second attempt to come here. The two gals (both nights) neglected to inform us that there is an "Express lane" for beer. Both times we were told 1.5hr wait and then 30min wait. A patron in line told us about the express lane. Then, arriving outside, we see multiple tables empty...including the tables with service. read more

This place was really quite good. Not only was the quality of the food very tasty, the portions were very good as well. The menu is a little limited, if you are looking for more variety. But I found it to be just enough to choose from. I will say the food took a long time to come out to us, especially considering there were really not many people in the restaurant at all. However we did go closer to the closing time. Will definitely keep this in mind as a spot to revisit next time I'm in town. read more

Made it to 3 Blondes Brewing! Their menu has been modified to accommodate our current situation (COVID) and reduced, somewhat, which is understandable. The staff is FANTASTIC (Cole was our server and he reminded me of days gone by when servers were super excited to have you come into their place of business and seemed genuine about it. We are all struggling to keep our chins up and he was a breath of fresh air!) My husband ordered their Big Lou special (brisket sandwich with pineapple salsa, and chimichurri fries IN the sandwich and a side of tater tots). Super delicious! That one needs to be a regular menu item! Daughter went out on a limb and ordered their crab rangoon pizza (you MUST love crab rangoons to order this one. It is like one big crab rangoon) Both seemed happy with their meals. We did start out with the BEST roasted brussel sprouts as our appetizer. (How do they get them so crunchy? Deep fry is my guess). Husband also ordered a mini flight of their beer (he just gave them a mini thumbs up...he is a Two-hearted fanatic and the IPAs just weren't "stinky" enough for his liking) I went the safer route and got their Southwest salad (just sorta ok...nothing to write home about. ) But the feeling of eating somewhere new where we were mostly happy with our meals was a great feeling. They paid special attention to the safety protocols (hand sanitizer in all the right spots and signage stating masks were a MUST) and everything was clean and exceptional in my book.
