We stopped here on a whim yesterday, and I'm glad we did! Conveniently located near a couple highways and expressway, far enough from the hustle of downtown South Haven. We were warmly greeted and seated quickly near the bar. There is plenty of seating inside and out. Our server was attentive and had amazing suggestions for food choices. We chose a couple IPAs, and were pleasantly surprised with how good they tasted (we feel the IBUs were much higher than what was listed....they were hoppy yumminess!!) and the crab rangoon pizza (never in a million years would I have even thought to put all that in pizza form!). What a delightful surprise. We were introduced by our grown children who have been to see the blondes before. We were greeted at the door and escorted to our table without delay. Kyle our server was amazing and quite personable. He helped us make our selection of beer and cider. He had recommendations and gave a few to sample once he knew our preferences. He even recommended a hat for my son in law! We were very happy with his service. Well done Kyle! I had the beer cheese philly. So good. I was not going to eat the bread because I was drinking my carbs but it was too good to pass up. Sweet potato fries were a side choice. The decor was very tasteful done. Love the express beer line ( Who wouldn't?) so you don't have to wait to get a beer if a table is not available right away. The patio was large with a small seating area to sit back enjoy your refreshments. I am told they may have igloos in the winter. Don't pass up the library upstairs where you can sit and relax with book and games. We will definitely be back to visit. read more

Fun environment, lots of varieties as far as the beer is concerned. We tried an excellent cider that had a floral/fruity flavor, really good! Food was ok, lots of options, but nothing was over the top good. The meatloaf was fair at best. The nachos were kind of odd with different flavors, more trendy,not your typical flavors. I'm on vacation in South Haven with my daughter and decided to give this place a try. My daughter is a vegetarian and I have a severe gluten intolerance (celiac), and their menu offered a fair amount of options. We were seated promptly and our server arrived in short order with some water and took our drink order. I informed our server of my gluten issues and asked some questions about their menu. I quickly decided on a seasonal cider, being told it was gluten free. The cider was in fact gluten free, but the first drink he brought me was not cider nor gluten-free. After a few sips, I told our server that my drink was delicious, but tasted a lot like beer. He doubled checked and sure enough, he put it in wrong and brought me a new beer on the menu. While trying not to think about it, and enjoy the rest of our dinner, which was also sub-par, I could not ignore the nervousness that I may soon be very sick. My daughter had a crispy cauliflower wrap. It came out looking like it was put together by a grade school cooking class. Only had one bite of tomato, no dressing, and was falling apart. I had pulled pork tacos that came out accompanied by a small amount of broken Tostitos chips. I'm writing this review from the toilet, which is where I'll be the rest of the night thanks to our server not taking care with food allergies. I was somewhat confused at first, when pulling in... The space is shared with another business, so it is not as huge as it seems!! I ordered 4 beers to sample with the sip n dip, I would definitely recommend if you are looking to try different beers. My favorites were the grapefruit/lemonade cider (YUM!!!) and the blueberry beer. I ordered the margarita pizza, and would definitely order another pizza upon return. My mother ordered the classic burger, which was surprisingly pretty small... Our server Quinn was fantastic! I really enjoyed this place and will definitely stop next time I'm in town. The only negative comment I have is the hostess who was working the night of 6/29... She was an older lady who was INCREDIBLY rude to the boy whom she seemed to be training. She was the first person we encountered at the establishment, and although she was not rude to us, the way she talked/handled a situation with another employee is absolutely not acceptable in my opinion. Was visiting out of town from chicago and my husband and I were looking for a spot to eat. After googling food near me, we came across three blondes brewing. The pictures are what lured me! The food in the pictures looked good. BUT, I should have read previous reviews... The food was awful. We ordered their blondie bread, which is their version of garlic bread. Kind of hard to describe, but it tasted like they deep fried the dough in old grease. The bread came with two sauces; their beer cheese and marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was probably the best thing there. The beer cheese was runny, very lackluster. Also, they charged us .50 for the sauces when they are included within the appetizer? Management ended up taking that off. I ordered their margherita pizza. It. Was. Horrible. The crust was burnt. The red sauce was disgusting. The cheese wasn't melted. I ate one slice. I couldn't even stomach it. My husband ordered their chicken little and the breading on the chicken had a weird texture. The honey glaze sauce was entirely way too spicy. Thanks to Yelp, I found this place less than two miles from our vacation rental this week! My son was sick and so we were unable to make it to the brewery. I ordered the light and fresh pizza and fish tacos which came with a side of tortilla chips and beer cheese sauce. The pizza was tasty - good flavors with the prosciutto and balsamic vinegar! I enjoyed the fish tacos although I'd prefer corn tortillas. Next visit we'll need to try their beer! Friendly service even for pick up order. read more

A bit disappointed because we've been here several times before and enjoyed it. But we came on a Sunday at 7, which I realize is an hour before closing, and we were turned away because the amount of time to wait for a table for 8 exceeded the time they would be open. I can't believe after the last year of businesses dying due to covid that they would rather turn people away than take our money. Kind of ridiculous. It's the middle of high season in south haven and you close at 8pm. Makes no sense. And carry out wasn't an option or we would have chosen that. This place is beautifully designed, with a wonderful, open layout. Their staff are helpful, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I spoke to one of the owners, and thanked her for the fantastic service. She was incredibly gracious. The food was outstanding, and the beer was good enough that we took some with us both times that we visited during a camping trip nearby this summer. I also bought two of their hoodies, which are super soft and comfy. I'm wearing one of them right now. Any time I visit that part of Michigan, Three Blondes will be a must-return location in the future. 10/10, highly recommend. read more

Went for the first time with a party of 8. Found the prices very reasonable. Enjoyed doing a flight and liked all but one, but that's what those are for. My entrée was a take on Philly steak with queso cheese which was tasty. Server was very nice and we had no order issues which I have seen with larger tables at other establishments. We sat outside so I'm not sure how loud or such the inside would of been. Four of us in the group graduated 40 years ago so it made for a really nice reunion. read more

As we entered the restaurant we were told that we could not be seated until our fourth person showed but the management ok'd us to be seated. After spending money and enjoying our time the manager put her hands on our table and said we need to leave if they don't show. We spent and tipped more than the table of four would produce in three hours. After seeing the rule book on our table states we need to turn over this table every 1.5 hours for waiting customers I realized they only care about table turn over and use the excuse we don't like waiting customers. And ask for tips for the kitchen on the "table rules of dining" prominently displayed on each table. Why don't you just pay them more. Your business is not more important than your customers. I still like the place but your business plan is lacking. It's a brewery first and maybe a restaurant second. This is my first review ever but was so shocked by the treatment just want it to be a better place. read more

I enthusiastically recommended the Cheesesteak Eggrolls at Three Blondes Brewing in South Haven, Michigan. This appetizer is perfectly crispy on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside with tender steak and cheese instead of cabbage. Then you get to dip it into beer cheese! What could be better than that? The steak is very tender and fulfilled the cheesesteak nomenclature with caramelized onion and poblano pepper and a cheese blend. We each got a flight of four 5 oz. craft brews served with rye chips and the dip of the day. I liked how the beer flights were served with a pallet cleanser. They call it Sips & Dip. I found all four of my beer choices excellent; but for me, the Belgian called Polycephaly was the winner, showcasing the complexities of Ekuanot hops. My buddy's favorite was Trees & Seas, an IPA with a crisp citrus flavor. Next, we split some tacos. The dish comes with three grilled tortillas and a choice of chicken, pulled pork, perch, veggie or our choice, Marinated Sirloin Steak. They came served piping-hot with a side of tortilla chips and beer cheese. The steak was loaded with flavor which was enhanced by the queso fresco that was beginning to melt. Pico de gallo, candied jalapeños, pickled onion and cilantro-lime crème garnished the top. I loved the balanced heat and how the sharpness of the pickled onion cut through the flavors. We split a Light & Fresh pub pizza, which used basil pesto as its base, topped with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, mushrooms, yellow tomato, olive oil, arugula and a balsamic glaze. The crust was thin and crisp but still had a little chew of the dough. The girls talked us into dessert...The Hot Blondie. It was served in a hot cast iron mini skillet with a warm chocolate chip cookie nestled in the bottom. The cookie was topped with Sherman's vanilla ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauce and whipped cream. Sherman's Ice Cream is made right down the road and is an iconic business in South Haven. This restaurant/brewery is a new build-out, attached to VanDerZee Motorplex, one of the coolest motorsport vehicle dealerships you'll ever see. read more

We drove up from South Bend to try Three Blonds and it was definitely worth it. First off, we felt very safe in their coronavirus protocols and appreciate the steps they took for our well being. The different blond ales were very unique but not overpowering. Got a growler of blueberry lavender cider and Crowler of peace lavender to go. We enjoyed our meals as well. A good sharing sized portion of the sweet & spicy brussels sprouts came out quickly. I have to say one of the few places where the seasoned fries tasted just as good 15 min in as they did when they first came out.
