However, we waited 72 minutes for our food after ordering!!! 3 burgers, a margherita pizza (that had so little cheese on it you had to look for it) a tuna poke & a bowl of vanilla ice cream should not have taken 1/2 that time! Their kitchen help is inept. They either need more cooks or a bigger kitchen. And besides all that, the chairs outside (I dont know if they are the same inside & out) are THE most uncomfortable chair Ive ever sat in at any restaurant. Mid afternoon, not too busy, no wait for table Pros: -nice ambiance -beer and food was good Con: -service was terrible, main reason for 1 star review -4 of us, server brought 1 out 4 correct drinks -Server then brought us a beer she gave to another table that they already had at their table instead of a new one, we did not want to create a hassle, but seems like a health violation - now with 2 out of 4 drinks correct, server said "we should be good now" with 2 of us still without our drinks -put in food order, correct orders, except asked for honey mustard and was given just mustard -asked for another sauce and 2 beers, instead server never returned with it and then blamed it on expo/kitchen for not bringing it -by the time she came back to the table for above interaction, 3 out of the 4 were already done eating while the 4th was waiting, and no beers -during our wait, the server had walked by our table at least 3 times -when asking for items, server also walked away before we could finish our sentences Not one to typically write a negative review, servers are people too, get busy or maybe they are new. My husband and I took a weekend trip away and when looking at places to eat we came across this appealing spot. The pictures of the food and reviews convinced us to try it. The ambiance is fun and they were having a trivia night which was entertaining. However we were shocked and a little confused with the food. Very underwhelming even for bar food... my husband got a steak sandwich and even before trying it, it was obviously very cheap and unappealing. I got a pizza that was just okay. Wings were soggy, cauliflower was extremely over dressed with a bad sauce, pizza could be decent but the crust was dried out with no flavor, and the tacos are served on what's essentially a dry pita. Thank God for Three Blondes! My wife and I have a lake home just down the street in Grand Junction, MI and I have to admit when we come up for the weekend it is almost impossible for us to drive by Three Blondes with out stopping. The restaurant is cool,hip,spotlessly clean and the service is fantastic. But really for me it's all about the food. Probably my favorite item on the menu is the Perch Tacos but it seems like I rarely get them because the daily specials that come out of their scratch made kitchen are so temping I almost always order one instead. Next time you head up to South Haven head west instead of east and give Three Blondes a try you will not be disappointed. read more

Really impressive, fresh, flavorful, imaginative food. Way better than average for pub fare, and some of the best available in SH (no, I'm not going to call it "SoHa" - that's not a real thing). Double thumbs up for the perch tacos dressed with fresh slaw and candied jalapeños, which are better than the SH Brewery's and (gasp!) even our beloved Captain Lou's! Jumbo wings are excellent, especially with the MI cherry BBQ sauce, and the truffle fries are unlike any I've ever had before - like swirled potato wedges but a bit thinner, and amazingly delicious. Perfect happy medium between two thin & crispy (and not enough surface area for the truffle oil and Parmesan) and too thick, like old-fashioned potato wedges with your steak. We'd all return just for these. Beer is solid, and we sampled almost everything on the list of 14 offerings. Pales and IPAs are Ok, but the the maltier brews were best: doppelbock, Porter, sweet stout all were really good. Good service and decent ambience - outside seating, too, in good weather. read more

Cute new place, a good addition to South Haven. We went in on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 15 minutes. Tried a few of their brews and they were decent. The Boo Boo Betty was probably my favorite. Our waitress was very friendly. We ordered the egg roll appetizer. It never came. We had our dinner for 10 minutes when the appetizer finally arrived. The waitress apologized and said they would be taken off the bill. When the bill arrived they only discounted it 50%, we let her know and she corrected it. I had the perch tacos that were very good, crispy and with lots of flavor. Others had the beer cheesesteak. Bread, meat and cheese were good but the sandwich was underwhelming. Needs something more, peppers, spices or something. Overall it was good and we will definitely come back. I am interested in trying the gourmet pizzas. read more

Because we travel to South Haven from out of state, and bring our well behaved dog with us. Where we are from, pretty much every single patio is dog friendly. But Three Blondes Brewing? Nope. Never brought us plates for the pizza we had to go up to the bar and get them ourselves after we had asked.
