This winery was awesome. Without a doubt our favorite on Seneca Lake. The staff is so polite and it's super cool that it has four separate areas for drinks. My fiancé called it "The Disney Land or Wineries". Disclaimer, we are sweet wine people, so we naturally loved it here. It's a little bit unreasonable to give this place a bad review based on the fact that you don't like sweet wines, because they have a full line of Riesling that would suite the dry drinker, and their website outlines their selection, they are pretty clear in their selection. Also, $15 dollars for three wineries and a brewery is pretty reasonable to me, we had an awesome time. It's not too busy this time of year and the views are gorgeous. We had an awesome times before our ride home to buffalo leisurely walking around the grounds and having hard cider slushees on the patio and decks. Would highly recommended or a nice get away from every day life. They also have some awesome sodas. read more

Amazing place! Lots to see and try. Beautiful vineyard with 20-30 beers and wines to try. We bought 4 bottles of their 1st degree white wine and a pack of 50 Miles to Mexico beer. So tasty! They make their own root beer too! The wine slush is amazing so we got a mix package of that. As we were driving away we realized we forgot to buy some of their delicious coffee...Iron something. Do not recommend. Have tasted all over the finger lakes and other wine regions in US and would not recommend this wine or site. We are also not people that leave reviews....but felt strongly that we should tell the other wine lovers out there to "Stick to other Finger Lakes Wineries! ANY other winery!" And to top it off, it's confusing. You get shuffled around and never find anyone that actually wants to talk to you about wine. Keep moving on to ANY other winery. read more

There are different wine tasting rooms, depending on whether you like wines on the sweeter end or drier end. The folks are friendly and explained the wines nicely. This is our favorite finger lakes winery. They have 3 different themed wineries and 1 brewery. Something for everyone here.

A really cool atmosphere. So much to see and it's very eccentric with all of the decorations at each winery. Great place to go if you like sweet wines. I really only cared for the dryer wines at Stony Lonesome winery but that's my preference. You cam easily spend 2 hours here and have a good time. The servers were all very knowledgeable about the wines they were giving you to taste which is very helpful. And made suggestions for you to try. 4 stars because the hard cider was not very good. Had no taste to it, was expecting an apple flavor but unfortunately they didn't really taste like anything. read more

So went to the winery first which had a sign written with a sharpie if you are under 25 and from another state u aren't. Ok. One would think that they would have that on their website. Unfortunately it undid all the good for the brewery which we like. The red wines were horrible especially the $60 bourbon barrel red. So many better on the market for half the price. This winery was really just not my style nor did the wine or beer do anything for me. I was rather disappointed at the tasting size of beer at War Horse (the brewery). It was a plastic shot cup. I get better sized tastings for free at our local beer store-- or at a bar when I am trying something out. Additionally, they really want you to get the "passport" and go to all the wineries on the grounds. It's $15. From my recent experience, if you want to buy anything other than the passport, the employees are confused. I'm not balking at $15, I'm just surprised that most people would want to try red wines, white wines, and beers. I can understand why a lot of people would like 3 Brothers, the different buildings and themes are cool. If you like really sweet wines, you should definitely go. They had some live music on the Bagg Dare dock (one of the wineries), nice. Someone told me that Three Brothers is "like an amusement park for adults." True. I'm glad I stopped to see what it was all about, and I don't really want to deter people from stopping in with my review, because I think everyone would enjoy seeing the grounds there, but as I mentioned right away in my review it was just not my style and I wasn't won over by their tastings. read more

My friends and i went there yesterday on a wine tour trip. This winery is beautiful and very clean looking. We were excited to try a few wines out. This winery has many different parts. Everything is all well, but one, the customer service. The bartenders (maily one of them) who serve on the silver bar of the winery, she was very rude. First of all, i don't think she wanted to serve us as soon as she saw us walking in. They didn't explain how the tasting would work like other wineries that we went to. She had flat effect, and all we can see from her facial expression is "i cant wait for them to get out". Very disappointed at this winery for this sole reason. read more

For $12 you get a passport for 20 tastings (5 tastings at each building. 3 wine and 1 beer building). The passports can be shared with another person. These wineries are hard to rate as one whole, since they are actually 3 separate wineries, with different themes, different wine, and different service. There is also a brewery with yet another totally different feel to it. Let me start by saying that if you don't like sweet wines, none of these wineries are right for you. They have a few (very few) non sweet varieties, but they generally weren't very good. Also note, as with many of these "micro-wineries" in the Finger Lakes, the Three Brothers wineries do not grow their own grapes, they use grapes grown at other, larger, wineries, and create their own mixes from there. Overall, the "kitch" of each of the wineries, which I will get to in more detail further along, is superior to the actual quality of the wine. Each of the wineries also had a rather large, non-wine related, gift shop. Some of the items included t-shirts, glasses, cheese boards, and even theme panties. On the downside, you cannot mix wines from the three wineries to make multi-bottle and case discounts. I think they would see more volume to their business if they did. One nice feature of two of these three wineries is they offered small bottles, so you could take home 4 mini bottles for the price on one large one. These also made cute gifts for my co-workers. We purchased the wine "passport" for $8 each, that entitles you to a rather generous 6 samples at each of the 3 wineries, and 5 samples at the microbrewery. The first winery we visited was Stony Lonesome. This was my least favorite of the three. Its "theme" is refined, dignified, "classic", Fingerlakes winery. The server was very good, and they tried to have a larger assortment of wines, including a few reds, and a few dry wines. They "feature" wines of Stony Lonesome were their Rieslings. They have four Rieslings, a dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, and a late harvest, which was very sweet. Unfortunately, none of the dry or semi-dry wines, Rieslings or other, were very good. I don't only say this because I prefer sweet wines, I can appreciate the drier ones, just not these. That said, if you like sweet wines, the white Merlot was amazing. And if you like very very sweet wines, the late harvest Riesling tasted like candy, as sweet as an ice wine. It was too sweet even for me, but well done. Passion Feet is across the way, and aims for a--well, I am not 100% certain what their "feel" is supposed to be. I got a fun, sexy in a very juvenile way, bachelorette-party, vibe there. According to the website, it is for "For those who live life with laughter and abandon." The wines feature "sexy" names, like "Seduce Me" (some are rather offensive, such as "Earn Your Beads", a reference to showing your breasts during Marti Gras); and retro-romantic label art. These are generally, ok semi-sweet table wines, some were better than others. Avoid the raspberry Riesling, it was plain nasty. They also provided us with a sampler of their alcoholic slushie, which was beyond tasty. However, at $9 for a small amount of the mix (which was mostly just sugar), it wasn't coming home with me. Finally we came upon the "Bagg Dare" winery, apparently formerly known as "Rogue's Hollow". This place was just plain fun. In my opinion, if the Three Brothers are aiming for kitch and themes to set them apart from the competition, then they need to carry all three of the wineries to the extreme they carried Bagg Dare. "Bagg Dare" is "Cajon speak for 'Back there'", lol. They really went all out with this one. It is separated from the other two by a long trail through a "swamp" with tons of cheesy signs. The building itself looks like it will come tumbling down at any minute, and is covered in vintage, rusting memorabilia and car parts. Our server was excellent, and really took the time to explain the wines to us, and find out our likes and dislikes. Again, the semi-sweet table wines shone here, and came with fun names like "Well Hung" and "Drive 'er Home". There was one very very dry red as well, that was such a divergence from all the other wines we sampled that day that it was hard to even judge. There were plenty of fun gifts to get as well, and I am still kicking myself for not picking up a pair of "wench" panties. Finally, after returning to the main area we went to the "War Horse" microbrewery. Like the wineries, they do not grow their own, they send their recipes to the Two Goats and have the beers made there. They only had 5 on tap, and a root beer, so we sampled every thing they have. I am not a beer drinker, but my fiance is, and neither of us cared for anything we sampled there. They had a beer brewed with the pressed remnants of the Riesling grapes used at the winery. Not a bad idea, maybe, but the result was just nasty. It tasted so soapy. I could go through the list, but at the end of the day, everything was below average, a great disappointment. Even the root beer was bland and watery--and I didn't know you could mess up root beer. read more

We went to this place after wine tasting along Seneca Lake. We heard good things about the wine slushies and thought we'd enjoy the last place before heading in for the evening. The 3 Brothers wineries are actually three separate places--2 wineries and one brewery. And, this place is very poorly labeled. You wouldn't expect a brewery here and the wineries are not well-marked. I had to ask an employee where everything was. They pushed you into the "passport" for $10 to try a bunch of wines and beer, but otherwise, it's $3 to taste just a few wines at one place. $3 is too much for wine that I'm not familiar with and just has a funny name. This place tries too hard to be different than the rest of the wineries. They are trying to be young and hip and they just end up being annoying. We tried to get wine slushies (which had been recommended to us by others) and there weren't any left and they weren't making more, despite being open for another hour. I went on a Seneca Wine Tour for my little sisters very low key wedding shower and they wouldn't let us taste because they didn't allow limo's after 1 pm on a Saturday. They told us if we even tried parking our limo up the drop and walked, they still wouldn't serve us. There were only 7 of us. The winery had no announcement on their site. Very discriminatory! Tried to make a reservation per the website but was refused because it was 10 min before 1 pm. (Reservations were supposed to be accepted prior to 1 pm). This place is fun. The wines- not so much, but you will get drunk on all the sugar, they offer about 32 different bottles, which is crazy but most were waaaaaaaaay too sweet for my palate. Overall, it's a great winery to visit. It's a little reminiscent of an amusement park though. We didn't get the "passport" they offered for $15 because we were only interested in tasting the dry wines and beer. Two of their other tasting rooms offered sweeter wines. We liked a few of their Dry Rieslings and purchased a few bottles. Their gift shops are full of all things wine. The brewery section was great - enjoyed the ones we tasted for the most part. My friend bought a growler of their stout she liked it so much. Lots of tour buses, party groups and bachelorette or bachelor parties. It was hopping at 11am. We stopped here on our second day of a brewery tour around the Finger Lakes. We had arrived right around opening time so it was dead. We went right to the brewery and had a woman who was extremely helpful and really nice. We talked for awhile and she easily convinced us to the passport which was 10$ and gave us access to the 3 wineries and the brewery with samples in each one. The brewery had a great theme including the Lt. Dan IPA which was really cool. Was the beer amazing? No but it was good, I enjoyed them and brought a mixed 4 pack home. They had some cool merchandise except I can't stand when breweries sell coasters...you're getting free adverstising from me in my house when I put them out yet you make me buy them? But whatever. The first winery was my least favorite because the server seemed nice but seemed disinterested since we weren't wine geniuses and I didn't like that being a Cab drinker I had to pay extra if I wanted to try any of the good Reds. The second winery was the best. It had a bayou feel to it..like you were in New Orleans. Walk down a creepy trail with rustic stuff everywhere with a pond right behind you. The building itself is really cool, again with lots of rustic things inside. They had all sorts of sauces to try that they sell in house and the wine wasn't too bad. Third winery was totally for women. Lots of sweet wines and girly type atmosphere. All in all yes it is a tourist like place...but hey I'm a tourist and I enjoyed the heck out of it. It is a fun place to kill a couple hours, taste some drinks and have good scenery. Yes there are better breweries and better wineries close by, but none give you the whole experience like this place. read more

Interesting place with 4 separate stops which means a good value for the amount of tastings you get and I thought all the items were priced well. We came on a rainy cold day though and it wasn't as fun walking between all the building areas. Maybe provide tubs of umbrellas to go between places? I liked the wine from Stony Lonesome the best and the different beers as I am more of a beer than wine person. I actually loved the root beer the best and probably would have gotten some if it wasn't only available in a growler. The area where Passion Feet is has all the wines/beers, so make that your last stop and pay all at once. Bagg Dare had a couple good ones, and Passion Feet's stuff was a bit too much even for a sweeter wine person. I picked up a couple bottles for gifts and a bomber of Royal Kilt Inspector for me. We came on a limo tour bus and they had a separate entrance and checked all of our IDs as we came in. Also got a coupon for at least $1 off one bottle and further discounts on 3/6/12 bottles. read more
