This place is definitely worth a visit purely because it's really fun and entertaining. Some of the wines you will sample are pretty decent but a lot are just nasty, overly sweet concoctions with super cute names. Regardless of the quality of the wines, however, you will have a good time. Like the reviewer before me I will break down this review down into four parts to cover the four separate wineries within the complex and the four separate tasting stations. You can purchase a tasting passport at any of the four. When we visited last week it was $8.00. This will allow you to sample about six wines at each location. We started out at Stony Lonesome which has the classiest atmosphere of the locations and lots of space for relaxing and enjoying the views of the vines. They have some great couches here and an excellent selection of cheeses. I picked up a bag of cheese curds to bring with us as we sampled the wines. The server pouring the wines for tasting at Stony Lonesome was the best of all the servers here. She was professional and articulate and really seemed interested in introducing us to the wines and engaging us in conversation. I also thought that Stony Lonesome had some of the best wines. The reislings definitely stood out. We then went over to Passion Feet which will appeal to anyone with a foot fetish. The logo features a lovely looking foot. The interior of this area is decorated with a retro French theme and there are copies of old French wine posters decorating the walls. You can also pick up a feather boa or some jewelry or even some underwear if you care to. Here's where the wines were the most nauseatingly sweet. They have all kinds of cute names for the wines but there were few here that I even enjoyed tasting. Also, the server at this location was really not up to par. She was chatting with her co-workers about tips and their after work party plans and just seemed like she did not want to be there at all. After a few pours she seemed reluctant to check in with us to offer us another taste of wine (even though our passports allowed us to taste up to six wines) and seemed to be more interested in chatting with a group of men who were tasting at the other end of the bar. I'm sure she thought that flirting with these guys would lead to some good tips. Blah! I think it's funny the previous reviewer (Todd P.) had a good experience here... LOL, maybe if you are a guy it's great. Us ladies were disappointed here. They did have some tasty crackers out on the bar though to cleanse the pallette. Next we went on to Rouge's Hollow which has a strange sort of 1930s shanty town/ pirates on a deserted island look to it. My favorite here was all the wench themed clothing, including little wench panties. Here, we tasted some slighlty better wines than those featured at Passion Feet, also cutely named. You have to give their marketing department a ton of credit. I ended up purchasing two bottles of the 69 Ways to Have Fun, which was a pretty decent table wine and, I must admit, I loved the name. :) Here again too, the staff was distracted. Again, the server was a young, attractive girl who was probably more interested in serving men and flirting for tips. We, lacking the Y chromosome, felt neglected. Next, we ventured to War Horse brewing to sample the beer. I found the beer here pretty unremarkable but the ketchup they served with their pretzels was excellent. The service here was much better and we chatted a bit with the guy pouring the wines. I'd highly recommend this place for a fun wine tasting outing but girls, bring a token hot guy with you and you might get better service! read more

Everyone kept raving about this place as a "must go to" when doing wine tours. I really wasn't that impressed. It was busy and lively which was awesome. So many things to do to keep you busy if you wanna sip and relax. I feel that is all it is good for though. They make you buy this passport which gets you to all the wineries and brewery but it doesn't make much sense to me because it limits you. If you want to change up your tasting you get kicked out of your tasting spot to go pay for an additional tasting or change then have to fight your way back to a spot to get your tasting. Just doesn't make sense. None of their wines stood out to me and none of the beers did either. Their ciders were pretty good though. I did buy their wine slushie because it was pretty tasty. They have their only little bar for them which is great! read more

The grounds are beautiful, the beer/cider is good, and the wine is okay. It's just too busy. I came here recently with a group of 4 and although we were there right when the winery opened at 10am, we still found ourselves waiting. $15 got us a souvenir glass and tasting at all three wineries and the brewery. Interestingly enough, I found out later that a friend of mine came on the same day and she was charged much more for the same - I believe she said $20 or $25? Notably, their prices are missing from their website, so I'm not sure what is going on with their pricing. read more

We wanted to eat lunch before going on the Seneca White Deer tour down the road. We understand that Three Brothers is a very popular location but we visited in autumn, mid week so we did not have large crowds to deal with. The wraps and burgers that we ordered were VERY good and filling. I enjoyed the crispy chips that came with my chicken wrap. Over 20 tastings (including beer tastings!) for $11? COUNT ME IN. Yes, I may have been sober as I entered and less than sober as I exited, but I can say that this place was loads of fun. I love the idea of the four separate tasting rooms. It was crazy busy, but it didn't feel as claustrophobic as some other places because everyone could spread out. I also really liked the staff here. They were knowledgeable without getting too uptight about it. I did enjoy the wine, even though some of it was a bit cloying for my tastes. I like sweet wine, but some of them were basically just sugary grape juice. But hey, a lot of people like super sweet wines, so it means they're covering their bases. The highlight for me was the beer tasting. All of them were excellent, so excellent that my friend bought one of each. Great experience, I'll definitely return next year! read more

Three Brothers is like the Disneyworld of wineries. There are 2 wine tasting rooms, one beer tasting room, and a coffee tasting room (my personal favorite), making the experience and entire trip a long one. They also have shopping and food for the hungry. The view is incredible, on the end of Lake Seneca it is just beautiful. Sometimes they have live music going, and overall Three Brothers has a very fun vibe. Their wine is good, but a little too sweet. First time here. We are doing Seneca lake vineyards. This is a cute place that houses three-wineries and a brewery. You can do individual visual tasting or get a passport (cheaper option) to do all four. Wines are ordinary. But wine slushy was surprisingly good. They have a really interesting layout with lot of natural beauty. There a coffee shop that caters too. So it's a neat outing with family fun. You can always go to other wineries for better wine. Definitely visit at least one time. read more

Had a really great time here! The property is beautiful. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, despite the fact that we were a huge group of college students. I don't have a lot to compare this winery to, as I have never done a wine tasting, but I had a great time and would 100% go back. Word of warning: Everything I tasted was very sweet (as many Finger Lakes Wines are), so if you're not into that, you may not be so pleased. read more

This was the last stop on our brewery \ winery trip around Lake Seneca... That said I was kinda buzzed by the time we made it hear. Really nice looking winery. I don't drink much wine so I can't comment on that part of it. We headed straight for the brewery aka War Horse Brewing Company. They had four beers on tap as well as a root beer. I got a free tasting of the four beers they had to offer. The raspberry wheat was interesting and their IPA was the best I had tasted all day. I left with a growler of each. In the end we made a trip to Wal-mart to pick up a cooler in order to keep the 6 growlers of beer cold. All in all it was a really good trip around Lake Seneca. I'd add this Winery \ Brewery to your list if you are planning a Wine tasting tour in the finger lakes region. read more

Drove up here while visiting a friend that lives nearish by. This was one of my favorite winers that we stopped at. I first found out about 3bros when my sister took a trip up to the finger lakes for the per reason of taking wine tours. I, being the little sister, simply texted her months later when I on a whim went with a friend. She didn't all the research I boy did i benefit! The whole purpose of going to this winery was to get another bottle of the wine she brought back for me from her trip. The Nearly Naked Chardonnay was by far the best chardonnay I've ever had. And i'm not even a big chardonnay drinker!! Unfortunately the winery only had this chardonnay in sparkling so I got a bottle of that as well as one other wine. We did the passion feet tasting while we were there and had a blast! If you are touring the lakes or the vineyard this should def be on the must stop list! read more

Three wineries and a brewhouse all for $10. Seemed pretty packed when we arrived but never seemed overwhelmed by crowds because of how spread out each tasting area was. Each winery represented is managed by a brother and represents their personality according to a staff member I asked. All the staff we encountered seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The beers were super, only available there at the brewery. They had 22's and growlers available for purchase. The wines were a mixed bag two of the places were much too sweet for me. Seemed like products make for a much different clientele. I would certainly come back here with a group just for the atomosphere and fun of the place. read more

FULL DISCLOSURE: I know nothing about wine. That said, this was the most fun winery I went to during my vacation in the finger lakes regions. They have four separate "stations" for you to have your tastings, so make sure you have a designated driver! Three of the tastings are for wine and one is for beer. Being more of a beer drinker I was a little disappointed in their microbrews, but none were terrible. I actually ended up buying a growler of their Raspberry Wheat, but the coffee lager was also very good. Nothing outstanding, but I applaud them for trying as craft brewing is something important to me. The wine stations were great, with one being almost exclusively sweet wines and another having a "wine slushie" (perfect for my unsophisticated palate). Finally, the staff here made the whole experience worthwhile. Most of them were very talkative, with a few of them being exceptionally hilarious. They also were well versed in the science and methods of brewing, and I felt like I walked away with a better attitude and more knowledge of the industry. My only complaint is that the cardboard carriers they have for their bottles of beer are not strong enough. My friend and I purchased four bottles of beer from their "War Horse" beer section and BOTH of our handles broke (causing my friend to break one of the bottles). Luckily the staff here was nice enough to replace his broken bottle, but this seems like a huge oversight that needs to be remedied. If you come here, definitely get the tasting passport. Between the delicious wines, the decent beer, the creative decor, and the awesome staff, you'll have a great time walking all around. read more

I was shocked and pleasantly surprised of the winery/brewery. It reminded me of an adult theme park with the various themed wine and beer tasting areas. Coming in on a weekday, there was absolutely no crowd and the bartenders were very helpful and perfectly described the various wines. I will be back hopefully soon with a large crew because we loved it so much! read more

Three Brothers is fun. Doesn't take itself too seriously & the products tend to reflect that. Passion Feet wines are the sweetest. And some are SWEET. Not my cup of tea & the nice girl gave us a sample of a slushee, but in February, just doesn't hit the spot. Bagg Daire is fun. Themed like an old Cajun cabin. Wines were a mixed bag, but the names & descriptions are a hoot. The brewery makes my favorite cider, Bombshell. Beers were good too. Stoney Lonesome is the "classier" wines. They're ok, but I feel like I've had better at other local wineries. Fun place to visit, especially with a group. Great themed merchandise, wines- meh. read more

This place is alright. We did not try one of their two wineries on site because we were on a quest for good beer. As it turns out, this is not really where you go for good beer. Their beer isn't reprehensible but it is fairly mediocre. I would not buy any of their 5 beers but their root beer is crazy good. I'd drive up to their place if I'm on the wine tour just for a few growlers of their root beer. It's a really big area and looks like they can handle large parties or weddings quite well. If they have good wine then that would be a win win but forget the beer. read more

Quick trip from Rochester this day trip featured live music, knowledgeable service, and wines for every taste preference. Make sure to grab your passport at one of the winery's for the best tasting experience. Our group prefers dry red wines, and Stoney Lonesome provided strong options. We were fortunate enough to be greeted at the bar by Kevin. Our experience at Stoney was a 10/10 - both knowledgeable and friendly, Kevin made the day. We were camping at Sampson State Park, and decided on a lark to check out a winery or two in the area. Three Brothers was the first stop we made, and we were really happy with our good luck in finding it! My friend and I got the passport, which entitled us to five samples at each of the three wineries, plus five samples at the brewery. At $10, it was a great value. I really enjoyed the second-degree Riesling at Stoney Lonesome, as well as a couple of the wines at Passion Feet. The vibe here was very casual, lots of people taking their time and enjoying the shopping and wine. Each of the three wineries has a distinct personality, which we found to be a lot of fun. Overall, we had a great time. Might even go back next summer! read more

Really well done winery/brewery. A buddy and I went to the Homebrew festival at the three brother recently, and I was so impressed with how well executed the entire event was. A great location, good mix of local breweries,food and vendors and the property at three brothers is great for large groups. During the event we tasted beers from 8 local breweries including War Horse. Was great to see the local industry supporting each other and how rapidly it's growing. Good times were had, looking forward to attending again in the future. Also, War horse has epically awesome root beer. read more

I realllyyyy love this winery. We went this past weekend - so the weekend before Memorial day weekend must be before "busy season" hits. There were a few other people but not busy. It was $12 for all three wineries and the brewery tastings and it was very worth it! I really enjoyed all the wineries and how they each had a personality. I even loved the decor/gift shop in each place. Passion feet is so cute and very my style - both in wine and atmosphere. We got to try the wine slushies too which were amazing. A very fun place and I'm going to assume great for groups because of the large variety of wines and even beer. We will definitely be returning here next time I come visit! read more

Not my favorite winery on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, but not the worst either. One issue I have is how much it changes from year to year. We went back a year later to buy some wines we liked, but many of the names changed. This happened again the following year. Change is good, but too much change doesn't add value. Lots of sweeter wines (which I like) and one building almost entirely devoted to Rieslings. Overall, a good place to visit, especially since it's 3 wineries and a brewery all in one place. read more

My husband and I went he's a beer drinker and me wine , but he found a couple of wines he actually liked and I liked their light beer and loved their Gose... I wasn't expecting to like this place. Given it's size, I totally thought it would be packed and not the best quality, because that's kind of the rule in the wine region I'm from. However, this place was pretty cool! With three different wineries and a brewery, there's totally something for everybody. There's a line called Passion Feet (what does that even mean?) that I didn't care for, but my friend likes sweeter wine, so she loved it. I really liked the Stony Lonesome line because there was more variety, and the wines were generally drier, AND they had a Gruner Veltliner! The driest Riesling and the driest Rose were my favorites. We didn't try the third line of wines, but I tried the beer at War Horse. Everything was good, but I really liked the Lieutenant Dan IPA. Their sodas were really awesome, too! The cafe was delicious! I had the mac and cheese with bleu cheese and shared a hot pretzel with my friend. SO good. I'm not usually a fan of wineries with gift shops, but they had some really cool stuff in there! Had to limit myself to just wine and beer, or I'd put myself in debt. read more

I totally second what other reviewers have said! This place is like Disney! There are 3 places to taste wine and one brewery. Two of the buildings have sweeter wines and one has drier wines, all delicious! We did not make it over to the brewery because we were sticking to wine tasting, but I am sure it was amazing! They had rootbeer! We did try the coffee/cafe shop. We ordered a pizza, which was delicious, but a bit small for the price. It was more like an oval flatbread. Nonetheless, this place was awesome! My husband and I included this in our itinerary for a 5 day trip and this was by far our favorite winery of about 8 we went to while in the Geneva area! The wines were okay-but what really stood out was the excellent service and uniqueness of the different buildings/experiences. It was so much fun going from one different environment and tasting experience to another! I described it to my husband as feeling like Disney for adults. The attention to detail in each of the areas was amazing and we could have easily spent the whole day just here if we'd had more time. This should be on everyone's list if you're staying in the area or planning a trip-honestly, it's worth a drive just for the day! Three Brothers is a fun place to spend the afternoon. We ventured out late Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. We stopped at the gift shop first and were amazed by how much stuff was in there- from beer and wine (obviously) to clothes and knick knacks. We picked up our Tasting Passports for $15 each which was great because the website stated they are $25. We headed to Stony Lonesome first and sampled their wines. These were dry rieslings, dark reds. I didn't find a Riesling I liked but the white merlot was good. Then we walked back on the path to Bagg Dare. I knew I would love these wines because we received a sample pack last Christmas. Plus the names of the wines are hilarious- Poor Limp Richards, Skirt Lifter, 69 ways... Then we went over to the Passion Feet Barn. Prepare, these are SO sweet! They were also sampling a pineapple lime wine slushee that lets just say I couldn't finish the sample it was so sweet. By this point I'm tipsy + munching on complimentary pretzels so we head over to War Horse Brewing. My boyfriend couldn't wait because he's more the beer than wine guy. I'm glad they gave us 5 samples rather than the 3 the passport said. Their coffee stout was really heavy on the coffee, the citrose was pretty good, and we loved the Scottish Ale + Lt Dan IPA that we left with two 4 packs. The beers were hoppy for me but he loved them all. Then we headed over to Iron Heart coffee to sober up a tad. Their brew was strong and the cookie was amazing. We ended up purchasing a bottle of the Bubbly Rose from Passion Feet, Skirt Lifter (red table wine) and Poor Limp Richards (my favorite white table wine) plus the beer. We also received a Military Discount on the purchase. We loved our visit and the drive out. I'd definitely come back with a group of friends when it's warmer out! read more
